Chapter 47 : Desperate

After the auction session, there was a banquet where the guests could have the chance to build relationship with each other. As the host, it was inevitable for Han Zhi Fan to entertain the guests. However, only several people who had the prestiges to be near with Han Zhi Fan. One of them was Yan Yu Kai, as he was the CEO of Yan Group.

"It has been long since last we met", Yan Yu Kai walked closer to Han Zhi Fan's circle with his hand wrapped around Tang Wen.

Han Zhi Fan only nodded at him to show his notice of their presences.

"I have never known that you have such a lowly taste", Yan Yu Kai said before he sipped his wine.

Of course, Han Zhi Fan understood who this bastard referred to. "It seems like we have the same kind of taste. Fortunately, I am competent enough to win the authentic one or else I might end up like other who has to be happy for the fake."

For some who didn't catch the hidden meaning of their conversation might think that they were talking about the jewellery set since both of them were battling the price over the final item. As for some who were intelligent enough, they knew that what they were talking about was not the jewellery set yet Tang Wei.

The wrath of Yan Yu Kai could be felt directly by Tang Wen because her waist felt the pain as Yan Yu Kai tightened his grip. "I hope you are lucky enough to avoid calamity." Yan Yu Kai gritted his teeth.

Meanwhile, the main character of the conversation was enjoying her food with her friends. Her smile was obvious which calmed the raging man who looked at her from afar. Han Zhi Fan, though, was busy to entertain the guests, his eyes would still lock onto Tang Wei. After all, she would soon be prey for many as he had somehow shown his interest toward her.

After chatting for awhile, Tang Wei excused herseldf so that she could relieve herself. She hadn't stepped out from the ballroom when she received a text.

[Where are you going?]

Tang Wei didn't know whether she should be happy or creepy. 'Is he looking at me for the whole time?'

[Mr Han.. I'm only going to the toilet]

Soon, she got a reply

[Quickly come back]

Tang Wei smiled upon looking at her husband. 'Does he think that I am five-year-old girl?'

He inserted back his phone to his pocket when a middle-aged man walked over him "President Han"

Han Zhi Fan frowned upon looking the man in front of him. He didn't seem to know this man.

"I am Jiang Ji Chen", the man introduced himself.

Wen Li who had always been on his side stepped forward and whispered to tell him about Jiang Ji Chen. He was actually the CEO of Flourish whose company was in the verge of bankrupt. He tried to reach for Han Zhi Fan in hope to get fund injection from Han Enterprise for their new project. However, it had been several months and there was still no call from the Han. Actually, it was a common thing since every company who wanted to work with Han Enterprise had to queuee.

"I hope that President Han would give Flourish a chance looking at our past relationship"

Flourish was once a company that worked well with Han Enterprise, but since their internal struggle happened several years ago and the decline of their qualities, Han Enterprise decided to stop their cooperation. Only recently that Flourish was taken back by its real owner that it started getting better, but his carelessness brought calamity to the company which made the struggling company cornered to the edge of the cliff.

Han Zhi Fan made a small talk since he knew that Flourish actually had a potential. He would like to acquire it as the subsidiary of Han Enterprise. After the small talk, Han Zhi Fan realized that Tang Wei hadn't come back after fifteen minutes. 'What takes her so long?'

He fished out his phone and dialed her number but there was no answer. He called her several times and still got no answer which made him feel anxious. He immediately barged out the ballroom and ran toward the restroom. However, he found no one in the restroom.

Wen Li who was following him immediately called for helps, but then Han Zhi Fan received a text.

Han Zhi Fan didn't wait another second to rush toward tge 16th floor where the room was. On the way there, he called Tang Wei again and again but he still got no answer. 'Jiao jiao, please don't play such game. Answer my phone '

Han Zhi Fan prayed that she was fine since that there was glimmer hope of it as the previous text was sent by her number but it might also be the abductor's doing thus he felt so anxious.

He immediately got into the room as the key card was place right in front of the room. "Wait here", he commanded Wen Li.

He walked into the dim-litted room and he found the woman who he had been searching for lying on the bed. Her eyes were blind folded, her limbs were tied. Moreover, her appearance was so shocking. She was only wearing a red transparant lingerie. Her red lips was open searching for more air as she wriggled on the bed. Her growl was desperate but it might ignite the beast of every man.
