Chapter 46 : The Auction

Since that Han Zhi Fan had arrived, the event immediately started. The auction was started by several A-listed artists' personal belongings like Zi Hao, he donated his exclusive album which was only made for this charity event. Then it was Tang Wei's turn, she donated a bracelet which was made of pure diamonds that was given by her step-mother on her 13th birthday.

Since that she was not that famous yet, not many people who was interested in betting her item. Only several young masters who were playing around.

Their actions seemed like humiliating Tang Wei, but it brought laughs to most young misses who envied her beauty. Tang Wei had been a sudden public's enemy when she first stepped into the room.

"They are overboard", Long Fei gritted her teeth.

"I'll bet",Zi Hao immediately took action but he was stopped by Tang Wei.

"It doesn't matter, Hao ge. They only bring their end sooner by doing so."

She knew that Han Zhi Fan would soon take action. He had told her beforehand that he would definitely win the bet for her item.

However, there was suddenly a voice that shouted the price "$1000"

Tang Wei looked at the owner of the voice and saw that it was her step-mother. She smirked at the woman who acted magnanimous.

The problem was another fat middle-aged man did the bet as well "$5000"

Everyone gasped at the price. At first, they thought that Tang Wei would be a joke, but it turned out that she could always draw attention anywhere she went.

Mrs Tang somehow felt happy at how a fat middle-age man tried to save Tang Wei which was witnessed by Mr Tang. It was inevitable that her husband would explode and might disown his beloved daughter who chose the showbiz road.

The sudden exclamation seemed to shock the whole room. For the owner of the voice $50000 was nothing for him and probably for most of the people in the room, but to be able to draw his attention was priceless.

The auction then proceeded as planned and soon it came to the final item. This finale was a set jewellery of an ancient queen of Europe. The jewellery was embedded with the rare pink diamond. When the jewellery set was worn by Tang Wei, none of the audience looked elsewhere. They didn't know whether the jewellery was beautiful or Tang Wei was the one, they just looked very good.

All women were drolling at the jewellery set while some envied the beauty that Tang Wei possesed. It seemed like whatever she wore could be good.

"The bet starts from $5 million dollar", the master of ceremony declared.

One by one tried to elevate the price in hope to acquire the jewellery set and gave it to their women.

The price suddenly shot high rocket as soon as one of the prominent figures shouted out the price. Tang Wei who was still on the stage smirked at the man. This man, she knew him very well. He was the eldest young master of Yan Family. The Yan Family was one of the leading companies in property and real estate industry. They had good friendship with Tang family thus Yan Yu Kai was once her playmate when they were young. However, this friend of her turned to enemy when Yan Yu Kai expressed his feeling to Tang Wei when they were still teenager and was rejected awfully by Tang Wei.

Yan Yu Kai was a vengeful man thus he decided to pursue Tang Wen, Tang Wei's younger step-sister. With God's blessing, Tang Wen also recripocated his feeling thus they were soon to engage.

As Yan Yu Kai declared the price that he offered, his eyes looked smugly toward Tang Wei as if with his eyes told her "See? You will be the most envied woman if you recriprocated my feeling back then. Now, look how lowly you are as you can only wear it but can't own it"

Meanwhile, others were envying Tang Wen to have such boyfriend who pampered her so much.

"It seems like first young master Yan is determined to get the jewellery"
