Michael was so occupied with the new training room that he totally forgot about the changes made to the system.

When he navigated to the System interface he noticed that there was a new tab. Initially, there was only three tabs in the system interface: Mission, Store, and Inventory. Now there was another tab named Followers. When he clicked on this tab, it sent him to a blank page. Fortunately, the system offered an explanation.

[ You have unlocked a new ability:

Emperor's Blessing: Allows you to bless others and make them your followers. You can add people as a follower by adding them to an open slot. Once an individual is added to the Followers tab; you can grant them skills from the system that is one tier below what you have already purchased. You will have to spend the same amount of credits for every skill, you add to each follower. The number of skills a follower can be blessed with is determined by the tier of slot you assign for that individual.

There are 10 free basic tier slots. Each slot can be upgraded to a higher tier in order to allow the follower to be blessed with more skills. More slots can also be purchased; A pack of slots is sold for 100 million credits (Includes 10 Basic tier slots).

Basic tier slot ( Complementary): Allows the follower to be blessed with Two skills.

Intermediate tier slot ( 10 million credits): Allows the follower to be blessed with Five skills.

Advanced tier slot (50 million credits): Allows the follower to be blessed with Seven skills.

Supreme tier slot (100 million credits): Allows the follower to be blessed with Nine skills.

A person must not resist when they are being added to the Followers tab. If the individual resists then the blessing will not work. Some skills require certain stats to use; You can buy the genetic potions and training manuals for the followers.

Once an individual is added to the Followers tab; important information about them will be displayed. You can check their location and life status (Dead or Alive) anytime. The blessings can also be revoked. However, the ex-follower will most likely fall into a coma and die. ]

It took Michael a couple of minutes to process all the information. Once he did, He could not stop smiling. Basically, he can grant the skills from the system to others. Right now he could pick ten people and give them two skills each. The skill would cost the same as what he paid for himself. If he wanted to give skills to more people then he could buy more slots; If he wanted to give more skills to an individual then he could upgrade their slot.

Michael always thought that the inventory was the biggest benefit of the system. However, he was not so sure anymore, the new feature allowed him to create an army of followers that would be ridiculously overpowered. Perhaps the greatest part was that he can pass on his technical skills too. Michael could have an army of hackers or game designers.

After fantasizing all the different possibilities of the Emperor's blessing ability; Michael moved on to the changes in the store. The first thing that he noticed was a recycle function in the store.

[ Recycle: Allows you to recycle any items from the world for a refund determined by the base value of the material, plus a bonus for rarity.]

Michael remembered the limited edition Hypercars he had in his inventory; he could not use them since the manufacturer was tracking them. He picked a Koenigsegg Regera that was sold for over three million dollars and tried to see how much he would get.

The system offered 2.5 Million credits for it; Michael was happy with that figure. Although the speculative value of the car could be higher, some things were so rare that he could not sell them, especially since he stole them in the first place. The recycle function offered him a decent alternative; giving him the ability to make credits from things that would only be deadweight otherwise. For now, he decided to keep the rest of the hypercars.

Next, Michael checked out all the new skills. There were so many new skills that Michael could not even bother with them all. However, there were a few that completely blew his mind. Michael transferred another 220 million from his bank to the system and immediately upgraded two new skills to Advanced tier.

Advanced Flight ( 100 million credits): Allows you to fly in the air. Maximum speed is half the speed of sound ( 0.5 Mach). Warning this skill requires practice to be effectively utilized.

Advanced Healing ( 100 million credits): Allows you to heal others. Can quickly regrow broken bones and heal damaged organs. The effects are lower than Advanced tier Regeneration.

Michael was excited when he acquired the new skills. He never imagined that he would be able to fly by himself. Now he did not have to worry about having to drive anywhere when he could fly with his own ability. Of course, he did not expect to learn overnight, but time was not an issue when he could have superpowers.

However, he was reluctant to use the skill because he was concerned about being discovered. What if he shows up on radars or satellites? Michael looked everywhere in the store for a solution and ended up finding one in the general goods store.

There was a stealth flight suit in the store that could prevent him from being detected by radars and scanners. It could not do anything about satellites since he would still appear in satellite images. However, it was still a wonderful solution since the satellite won't get a clear picture if he goes fast enough. However, the suit had a price tag of 100 million credits and he did not want to buy it before he actually learned to fly.

The healing skill was the one that he felt had the most potential. On one hand, he was not surprised since a regeneration skill already existed. The potential uses of such a skill were limitless. It would be useful for healing his followers of course; However, he could even sell his services to injured billionaires. Then he would never have to work again.

Unfortunately, There are always some risks associated with rewards. What if the military decided to chain him up and study him? He was confident that he could defend himself, but against how many? At some point, he would be tired of fighting against overwhelming numbers. Therefore, he decided to be very cautious when using the healing skill.

There was another healing skill called Mass healing. It was intended to heal large groups of people at a time but was less effective compared to individual Healing. Michael did not intend to buy it now but still brainstormed uses of the skill for the future.

Of course, the best part was that Michael could grant these skills to his followers too. So he could have an army that could fly and heal. All of a sudden, Michael did not think it was impossible for him to build an empire in the modern era anymore.
