Upgrading The Spear

Vather entered into the gigantic structure as he saw some students moving around in the white hall,as different portals could be seen around the place.

In front of the portals was a notification board that show a particular amount of points.This means weapon forging or upgrading has it's own different levels,and also different forgers For this weapons.The higher the points,the higher the grade of the forger and the weapon that'll be forged will naturally be a higher grade.

Vather looked at the portals as walked to the far point of the hall,where a notification board that depicted one of the highest points were.The highest in the hall was a portal if 1000 points..

Since after purchasing the cultivation techniques and trying the cultivation grounds.His remaining point was still about

285 so he went for a Weapon forging portal of 250-300 points.He's planned to go all out in his weapon this time so that it can be more helpful in his battles from now.Besides he wasn't ready of his first weapon to be handled by some novice forger,hence why he chose such a high forger.

Vather stood in the portal as green light emanated from it before covering him in it completely as Vather immediately disappeared from where he was standing.

He opened his eyes as he saw he was in a hall that was radiating huge amount of heats.

He ignored the heat,as he saw a young lady of about 20 come to him,and told him the forger was ready.Vather gave a polite nod as he followed behind the woman who directed him to a door.

She immediately turned and left after arriving before the door, meaning she wasn't allowed to enter due to her status.Vather warmed up his throat as he raised his hands to knock on the door when a sound emerged from it

"Come in"

He opened the door as he arrived in some type of furnace rooms,as the temperature was countless times hotter than outside the hall.

The sound of hammer colliding with blocks of metals could be heard as Vather turned his gaze to the place only to see a man,who could be better called a giant as he sat there barechested pounding hard on the metal.

Vather stared at the man pounding the metal with interer,but he quickly grew bored as forging wasn't really something he had much passion for if even any.

After almost an hour,the man slowed down with his pounding of the metal,and for the first time stared up to look at Vather He passed the metal into another piece of technology before standing up and taking a good look of the boy before him.

Vather saw the man tower above his own 2 metres height,and he was extremely muscular unlike his own lean body.

Audrey Eno stared at the young man in front of him as a grunt of approval escaped his lips.

"I can tell you have no interest in the forging department,yet you were able to focus on every detail even though boring.You also possess patience as I've been hammering for almost an hour and yet you kept quiet not making a single noise or disapproval.You've earned my praise kid,what do you have for me."

Vather immediately summoned his spear from his gloves as he handed it to the man.

The man looked at the blue gloves on Vather's hands before removing his gaze as he stared at the spear in his hands unconsciously wiping his hands on it.

"Hmm, this is a weapon almost perfectly crafted if I may put it well but also very wasteful of resources for using a Geoid metal to forge a grade one weapon.But it has provided a good base for the weapon, In case if it needed an upgrade.A smart weapon for a small kid."The man said,pain in his eyes when he mentioned the too valuable Geoid metal used for forging the spear and praise in his eyes when he said it laid a good foundation.

"There are only two things I can do to this weapon,kid.One,I can increase the durability of the weapon.There might not even be a single grade one weapon who can beat this weapon when it comes to durability as it was made from the Geoid metal which is known for its lightness and durability.Adding some few types of other metals will increase the weapon's durability even more but I'm afraid it will cause the weapon to be slightly heavy.

Two,I can also add a core into this weapon automatically promoting it into a grade two weapon,and with at least a single special ability of the core branded into the weapon.

Vather weighed the man's option in his mind as he thought of the best possible outcome.

He wanted an upgrade for his spear because he was always afraid of it breaking form the power used in his fight and he even noted if the weapon being unable to take in much of his True Astral light.

Now that he's using a powerful light element even greater than his True Astral light,he was completely sure the spear will immediately blow up into pieces if he passed his Chaotic light into it.So he needed the Durability.But to increase the Durability will means increasing the weight of the weapon due to the other metals that'll be added.But Vather wasn't worried about that as since his strength has grown more than when he was using the weapon.He needed to increase the spear's weight as well as too light might just give him an alien feeling when using the spear.

About the core,that was what Vather wanted the most.A new core to be implanted into his spear as that'll increase the power of the spear by a whole lot and also give it an extra ability even if it's just one.

"This is what I want"Vather said as he took a deep breath in and firmed his mind.

"One,I want the durability to increase,thrice the durability of what it is now and also to be heavier than what an early core formation stage can carry.So do not be afraid to increase the durability because the weapon might get heavier,not matter how heavy it could get, I'll still be able to lift it up.

Two, I want it to be imbued with the core of at least a peak core formation stage beast.A strength type peak core formation stage beast.

Three,I want it to be created with metals which can better absorb the light elements than normal metals.Metals more inclined on the light element compared to other element.Can you do this." Vather said as he stared at the burly man who was looking at him with a serious expression.

"I can do all you said,and I know just where the perfect metals for the work are,but the price.Are you kidding,the price of a single brightly ore..."

"I'll pay you 280 points for the weapon."Vather siad cutting the man short immediately as he proposed all his remaining points for the work.

The man looked at Vather with a mocking expression as he couldn't believe a student,even more a first year could offer so many points.Where did he get it?

"Well if you really have 280 points then the job is already finished but..."The man's watch suddenly beeped as he saw the notification of 280 points transferred into his account.

His mouth opened agape as he stared at the Vather who was already moving towards the exit.

"When would it be ready"Vather asked as he placed his hands on the door lock.

"Come at tomorrow evening" the man said which Vather gave a nod too as he moved out of the flaming hot hall.

Even though he only had five points left,he felt it was worth it as he's already spent all the points in increasing his strength.He won't have time to spend the points if he died in the mission because he wasn't strong enough.

Vather immediately moved out of the Forging hall, expectant of his new and upgraded spear.What will it look like?What ability would the core used possess?How powerful will the spear now be?.Well he'll find out tomorrow.But for now he has some training to do.
