The battle king disciple

Vather got out of the shower as he found himself standing in the front of the mirror.

A young man with an handsome spotlessly white face was shown in the mirror.Vather noticed his muscles had grown even bigger while his packs on his stomach and below rib sides were perfectly displayed.He looked at the handsome body standing in the mirror and nodded to himself with a slight 'uh' escaping his lips.

Slowly dressing himself up in the military uniform,he checked the watch as he discovered

"It's been ten days already,but the benefit gained is worth it."He said to himself as he knew ten days of attending classes won't give him half the strength he possess now.

"But to skip so many classes,I wonder what my punishment will be" he muttered to himself when suddenly his watch beeped with a notification.

"You have been chosen as the disciple of the Battle King."

"You are not necessitated to attend any of the classes."

"You have been sent a message from him."

'Who the hell is the battle king'Vather thought to himself as he was wondering if the watch is faulty.

Slowly clicking on the notification tab,a message could be seen:

"Meet me at the dojo",

"oh, could it be that damn old foggy,he did say he'll teach me the cosmic force crap,but I don't remember agreeing to become his disciple" He said as he made his way to the dojo like structure.

10 minutes later

Vather slowly entered into the dojo like structure staring at a man who had a bright smile on his face

"How are you feeling, young man, it's been ten days already"the man asked him with a smile on his face.

"And when did I accept to become your disciple,old man"Vather replied with a scrutinizing expression on his face.

"You know if your level of status rise to a certain state in the military, accepting a disciple won't really require that person agreeing.And I just happen to be among the selected few.And besides isn't it your lucky day to have someone who understands you well besides the free protection you get and also free guidance for your cultivation.

"I guess.It does"Vather replied with a face that imitates thinking about it.

"I haven't chose a disciple since you were born,do you know why I'm choosing one right now or to be more specific why I'm choosing you."The man asked in a mysterious tone.

"Because I'm your best shot at a 30% cosmic force grasp,of course" Vather replied snorting.

"You are wrong, It's because of your will,your burning thirst that reminds me of myself years ago.The thirst to get stronger,one even a little heavier than mine.One which I failed to accomplish even till now, that's why I'm inclined to help you, I don't want you to fail to accomplish yours.If I was given an opportunity like this back then,maybe,just maybe, I'll have been able to,but fate.I failed to accomplish my goal,but I met another person who has the same goal, and now am trying to make sure he accomplish his own.Is this fate." the man said,his face revealing a melancholy that make most feel pity.But Vather only snorted coldly.

"Something you fail to accomplish,with your level of strength,tch."Vather said his face revealing a disbelieving look.

"So tell me young man, what's bothering you,what do you need help with."The man said seating on his futon,his body lying in a sleeping position.

"Well I don't know,maybe a spar to test out my strength and also points. I really need points right now,lots of them."Vather replied.

"Hmm, about the spar,my bones are as ready as ever,but regarding the points,I won't give you that."The man voiced out his hands on his chin.

"Tch,stingy old man,who will give me a beating but not resources."Vather voiced in a mocking tone.

"But, I've thought of a better way,how about I send you to a beast world like your devir extermination class,the number of beast killed will be number of points gained.But it will be slightly different in that there are no beast at the body tempering stage, only those from the meridian tempering to the core formation stage are present.A middle meridian forging stage beast is 30 points while the peak is 40 points.

A core formation is 60 points while peak is 100 points.A good idea don't you think"the man said with a wink.

"Hmm,it definitely make sense but I'll be stupid to think that's all there is to it about that."Vather voiced a knowing smile on his face.

"Ah,you definitely aren't dumb,but true,there are some minor differences in that,I can't teleport you back here,so if you meet up with a beast at the peak core formation stage,then you can only curse your shit luck and run. Secondly I don't have a time frame, the portals to come back are on the other side so you have to look for them yourself,if you can't find them,then you're stuck in there till you do."

The man said in an unbothered tone.

"Hmm,so you're saying,there is a ninety percent chance I'll die there,and if I don't die there, I have a 90% chance of being stuck in there forever,huh". Vather said a blank face.

"Your call ,you can go back to your devir extermination class and keep fighting with beasts at body tempering stage while hiding your strength,or you can accept the challenge even for the 10% success rate. There's also something I need to tell you. learned cosmic force better when in battle, that's why most call me the battle king,as I love battles.But I noticed something peculiar about you,when you came to me the last time,I know your strength but right now I can feel you have grown even stronger.Which means your way is the way of battles just like mine.Its your fastest way to grow,so you make your choice."

"Hmm,you have managed to convince me, I'll go"Vather said already making up his mind.

"Oh,you will,you might die there,you know."the man asked surprised by how fast he made the decision.

"Old man,relax, I laugh in the face of death, hahaha,see?"

"hmmm, anyway follow me" the man said as door appeared in the wall which he walked into Vather quickly following behind.

Vather thought of his decision as he followed behind the man.When he said he wasn't afraid of death he knew that was bullshit as he was most afraid of it.If he died,even if the human win the war with the devirs,there will be no one who will be able to revitalize his dead clan,he will never be able to have what he wants the most in his life, finding the truth about himself.And excluding that,the man was partially right when he said he grew stronger due to battles,but the truth his he grew mostly stronger due to slaughter.With his Supreme Blood system,every enemy he meets will give him a growth in strength.Going to a place with strong dangerous beast where he might even get stuck might be hell for others but for him it was paradise.Not counting he can even earn points to buy cultivation resources at the same time,there really is very little reason to not accept the offer,as sometimes even if the opportunity is too risky,the offer one might gain from it might make the strong in heart not have a choice.

They slowly arrived in a hall as Vather saw three portals standing a distance from each other while another Portal appeared extremely far away.One will have to cross at least three domes of energy that makes even him feel his hair standing on end before arriving before it.

Vather felt attracted to it due to the energy waves it was releasing which was completely out of this world and also the size which was about three times larger then normal teleporters.

"This is it " the man voiced out as he stood before the portal at the middle glowing with purple energy.

"Then let's get on it,old man are you having cold feet".Vather said as a single drop of sweat rolled down his forehead which he quickly wiped away as the man was slowly facing him.

"Since you'll be heading onto such a dangerous place, then I'll give you my first master to disciple present" the man said as a white coloured haori appeared in his hands.Golden coloured runes were present on it surface forming a beautiful pattern on it.

Slowly putting the haori on him by himself,Vather saw a serious expression on his face something get has never before seen on the man's face before.

The golden colored pattern started glowing with a beautiful golden light as he found his light bloodline entering into it.

"Take this,you might find it useful." he said in a sad voice.

"Hey old man,why do you give me the feeling I won't come back from this"Vather said his eyes narrowing as he stared at the man well,another drop of sweat rolling down the back of his neck.

"Just stand on the portal already" the man said his smile returning to his face.

Vather slowly stood on the portal which releases pulse of light as a countdown to three began.

"Do you like snakes" the man slowly voiced out before the countdown to 1.

"I don't know,why?",that was the last Vather heard before he faded away in the next moment,but he could swear he saw a sinister smile on the man's face in the last second.

"I wonder how strong he will be when he arrive back" the man said staring at the gigantic portal far away in the distance a slight smile appearing on his face as he made his way out of hall.
