Spear cultivation

Golden rays of light from the sun pierced through the thick foliage of the huge mesophytic trees as even their long leaves and branches was unable to stop their descent.They shone on the forest painting it in a beautiful colour.In the quiet forest and covered in the golden light where two men standing opposite each other as their hair fluttered in the wind

"How do you teach me to cultivate my spear if you've thrown away your scythe"Vather asked as he stared at Arnold before him.

"You know there are actually levels to weapon cultivation.The ones I know includes understanding the weapon,that is the first stage and that is were you are.The second stage is merging your intent to the weapon you use, that's the second stage,the one I'm present in right now and the one you're working towards .The third stage is the stage where you will become your weapon, practitioners at this stage won't necessarily need their weapon to fight as they are the weapon itself.But if they use one,then they'll be terrifying monsters.Unfortunately I've not reached this stage.So I don't have a weapon with me.But there's something I can try." He said as he picked a rough stone from the floor and made a small cut on his fingers.A tiny little blood droplet slowly emerged from his fingers as they became shaped into claws covering Arnold's hands.

His hands which could be very well be called a blood claw slowly slashed his own arm as huge amount of blood poured down from it.Crouching down,he placed his palms on the blood.Blood red energy emerged from them moving into the fallen blood as they slowly coalesced together and in twenty seconds a blood red scythe appeared in his hand made completely from his own blood.

"Even though it's made from my blood, it's still pretty strong"he said as a smile emerged on his face while he slowly twirled the weapon in his hand causing a slightly sharp sound of the air being sliced to echo in the quiet forest.

"But although it's strong it won't survive a strike from your elements so let's restrict the spar to a physical strength one with no elements or any other thing allowed." he said as he took a single step back while his scythe was placed horizontally before him.

"ok then"Vather replied as a golden spear appeared in his hand which he twirled in his hand as he immediately got into a stance.

A leave slowly floated down from the tree in front of them,as it slowly touched the ground causing Vather to immediately bolt off the ground as spear tore through Arnold's face which he was quick to avoid by simply moving his face away.Moving two steps forward,his scythe immediately went after Vather's heart,as Vather quickly recalled the spear before him managing to block the move in the last second.But he discovered the spear had almost no power at all as it slimmed pass his scythe and moved towards his neck which Vather again blocked by moving the spear vertically before him as his pupils constricted due to how much power was contained within it as although he blocked the scythe it's blade was just a few centimeters from his neck as he found himself using all he had just to stop himself from being sent flying when suddenly Arnold said to him "Have you forgotten how it was made" he said as the scythe's blade which was a few centimeters away from his neck immediately elongated and appeared only a few inches from his neck as a cold sweat rolled down Vather's neck even though the air around them was blowing widely in the forest.

"You lost,and so easily too,you have to stop thinking all attacks are to kill as sometimes It can simply be a feint used to hide the really dangerous move."Arnold said taking away his scythe from his neck as they appeared ten meters away from each other before bolting towards each other again as the sound of colliding blades echoed in the forest.

The sun appeared high in the middle of the sky as longer wavelengths of reddish hues could be observed in the forest below.

Vather stood ten meters away from Arnold as a go sound emerged from his mouth causing Arnold to immediately bolt forwards towards him but Vather didn't move a single step as he watched Arnold close in on him already swinging the scythe towards his head.

He slowly placed the spear above him hitting the scythe up into the air,while piercing towards the wide open Arnold who swirled his scythe in his hands and blocked the spear.Vather quickly withdraw the spear to himself as he sent it slashing on Arnold's head trying to slice him into two equal parts but this was equally blocked but Arnold felt himself quickly smashing into the ground as dip pit emerged in the ground from the amount of strength contained within.

Slowly crawling his way out of the pit he was expecting a spear to immediately pierce towards his face but he was wrong as he saw the air above him being split by something causing shockwaves in the air.A golden spear tore through the air with speed as it appeared in front of Arnold instantly who quickly poured all the blood in him into the scythe as they glow an ominous red energy and sent it slashing towards the spear blocking it as the spear was sent reeling back towards the sky while the scythe slowly shattered into pieces as they become droplet of blood again.A five centimeter deep pit appearing on the floor where he was standing.

Vather gently landed on the ground as he slowly raised his hand grabbing the weapon falling towards his head.

"You lost,you use the power of your cultivation at the last moment."

"You've amazed me with your comprehension speed Vather,you already know my mode of attacking,and all my feint were even easily blocked by you.You no longer waste any move as I feel all your move are straight and direct and all that in just less than seven hours.You have even managed to cultivate an intent but it's very obscure.It's not to kill like mine, instead it's to,I don't know,but I think to easily defeat your opponent or completely suppress them as I was still dug into the ground from the power of the spear even though I was using my cultivation.That's an incredible intent Vather,one which might be unbelievably powerful when trained to the peak."he said, the approval behind the voice unmistakable.

"Thank you Arnold",Vather said as he himself felt the slight increase in his spear cultivation,at least he knew what an intent is.All he had to do now is slowly develop it into what can be only his.

"When will you be leaving here Vather,the experience of sleeping on a tree isn't the best,you know"he said with a smile on his face.

"I'll be leaving soon but to do that I have to find a portal which is present here in some place I don't know.I guess it's time to start looking for it"

"Ok so here's the plan,we both separate from each other,as we go in different directions looking for it,it will enable us to cover more ground in less time.We will meet again here at this particular spot at dusk.I surmise we will find it before three days run out."Vather said which elicited a nod of approval from Arnold ad they moved in opposite directions.

Vather wasn't worried about Arnold as he knew he possess as much power as he has if not even stronger and so will be safe being on his own.Apart from that he still need to reach level four in his system before he leaves the forest and to do that will require fighting the beasts something he'll prefer doing alone.Besides he has a new bloodline phantom which he has yet to even check out.Although he trusted Arnold to help keep his secret but it will just get him in trouble if it slipped that he was able absorb bloodline phantom as he had no doubt he'll be taking to the lab and become a lab rat for the end of his life,"so better safe than sorry." Vather said to himself as he headed deeper into the forest.
