I Only Need Strength

As Vather immediately came in contact with the blue screen of light,he immediately found himself sucked into it as he appeared in a volcanic area.Thousands of small volcano heads could be seen,as the floor was completely covered in a lava.A small gate could be seen in the distance as he knew that is the exit towards the place.

Small platforms could be seen on the lava acting as steps towards the far off gate.All he needed to do was make sure he stayed on the platform In order to avoid the occasional eruptions from the volcano heads around him.

A voice rang out in the entire place:

"You will be disqualified if you get touched by the lava or the Volcaworms.

"The Volcaworms?" Vather muttered to himself as the ground behind him cracked while three huge worm heads immediately burst out from behind the cracked land.

Vather immediately disappeared into the distance, following him closely where the three gigantic worms,who were unharmed by the volcanoes as they could be seen swimming in it.

"They're pretty fast"he said with a smile as the worms proved to be able to match his physical strength speed.Lava burst out from a volcanic head in front of Vather as he immediately jumped to the side to avoid the lava while also rotating in other to immediately balance himself on the platform.

While he was able to successfully avoid being touched by the lava,the Volcaworms were also able to close in on him as they were now less than twenty centimeter from him.Vather's gaze narrowed as he saw they were only two worms after his tail but he counted them to be tree at the beginning of the trial.

A gigantic worm burst out from where Vather was standing as he stamped his leg on the platform with force causing it to sink into the lava while he jumped high into the sky himself.The snake head followed Vather into the air,but gravity did it job making it fall down back into the lava.

He slowly dropped down also from the sky,when suddenly another Volcaworm appeared closing in on Vather horizontally.Vather's pupils constricted as he knew if he falled to gravity then he'll be just in time to get swallowed by the worm.Any student would have been disqualified as they'll surely be touched by the worm but not Vather.

Vather's body flared with golden light as the golden core present in his heart shone brightly.A powerful aura emanated from him causing the gravity around him to be destabilized enabling Vather to stand in the air.

The worm that was expecting Vather to land into it's maw was shocked speechless as he saw the young man lightly floating in the air as he had no choice but to fall back into the lava.A mocking smile emerged from Vather's lip as he immediately disappeared from where he was standing.

A powerful shockwave emerged in the place as the worms were blown faraway from him.A young man could be seen traveling with speed towards the small door.Everytime his legs landed on the platform caused the lava around the place to sink in deeply.The lava that was supposed to ooze out from the ground were were forcefully suppressed by the energy he was radiating.

Vather closed in on the gate

Right in front of the gate about ten meters away from it there was no larva present on it as all he saw was a gigantic abyss.Three platforms could be seen in the abyss,but the shocking thing about them was that it wasn't supported by anything and was just standing in the air.A student will have to determine whether or not to step on the platform as there was nothing supporting them,the probability of it immediately sinking in once he placed his legs on it is too high and that'll mean automatic disqualification.

With the pressure of choosing whether to step on the platform or not while also being chased by the Volcaworms.A student might just break down under the pressure and make them take the wrong decision.

Vather saw the gigantic abyss which was around thirty meters before him but that didn't make his footsteps stop moving for one second as a slight smile appeared on his face.Arriving at the edge of the lava, Vather slammed his leg down as he was immediately catapulted towards the door in the distance, arriving before the door,he immediately placed his hands on it as he got absorbed into it and found himself back in the military drills ground again.

"Why will it matter if the platform was stable or not.With pure strength, I can just easily jump over the abyss itself,then the platform won't be needed"Vather muttered to to himself as in a few minutes he has already arrived in front of the gigantic mountain.

Arriving before it,he could see there was no student around meaning he was the first to finish his trial and appear here.

Vather immediately jumped up from the floor as he hung himself tightly on the platforms meant for raising up on the mountain.Touching the mountain he could see there was a type of force which was restricting his ability to use his light element but he ignored it as he also wasn't planning to use his elements in the first place.

In less than five minutes,he was already halfway the entire mountain itself as he quickly pushed himself up using the platforms.When suddenly Vather could be seen falling down the mountain as a platform could be seen in his hand.He immediately stopped his descent by grabbing hold of another platform making him him stabilize.

Apparently,not all the platforms are stable,as some are not tightly rigged into the mountain.He activated Eye of Infinity as his gaze pierced through the entire mountain.He could see there was some iron like rod present in some of the platforms rigging them into the mountains while some has nothing joining them to it,which were no doubt the unstable platform.

Vather arrived at the top of the mountain in a little more than five minutes as he stared at the gigantic portal in it.Slowly turning back he could see about twenty students present at the foot of the mountains apparently just finishing their trials, among them the tanned Liam could be seen.He slowly raised his thumb as he showed a mark of 'work harder' to Liam while he headed into the portal disappearing in a beam of light in the next second.

All the students were shocked speechless as they saw someone has already finished climbing the mountain when they were all just about to start.Liam pupils constricted as he thought to himself'Could it be him,' before quickly shaking his head as Vather was someone with a bloodline from the 2nd layer.

Vather arrived outside the dome as he slowly moved towards a place he very rarely visit,the canteen.He sent a message to Liam informing him of meeting him there,as he wanted to know why everyone was ignoring him.
