Goodbye-- maybe forever

The book slowly turned to dust which soon drifted off into the air.Vather watched as the last trace of his clan slowly drifted off into the wind with the last trace being himself.

He has underwent hellish training which should have been impossible for his exceptionally weak body surviving those years with pure will to find the truth about himself.But in the end he only grew more burdened and confused.

"In the end was it all worth it".Vather said heading for the exit his voice trailing behind the drifting particles of the book.

But unknown to Vather it was,as a flame was lit up in him,a flame which might one day grow up to burn the whole world in cinders or to become a light which might guide the whole world to its prosperity.

Vather slowly walked back into the library his hands trailed the shelves as they were his source of knowledge for all this years and his only companion amidst the loneliness.

Heading to the highest level of the mansion he came out of the balcony as pure fresh air buffeted his face. He could see the valleys up ahead and the rivers slowly flowing around its corners painting a beautiful picture.

He ran across the the building as he jumped from it, his hand spread out to his sides as his legs folded together.He was like an eagle diving down to catch its prey except for his heart which was beating so slowly.

Vather for once in his life felt absolute peace, it was a peace which was so peaceful he couldn't believe it as he descended with speed from the tall mansion.Bringing with it a feeling of confidence, as if the world itself was telling him not to worry as everything will be okay.

"Hover" a word sounded out from his lips almost a whisper as his body just before slamming into the ground skillfully turned midair and landed on an hoverboard glowing with golden-white energy.

He flew through the air his golden hair fluttering behind him as he passed through the many valleys and rivers.He jumped down the hoverboard and safely landed on the ground doing a black flip to negate the resultant force.

"How long has it been" Vather muttered under his breath."Activate training area".the green grass under his feet was slowly covered in a blue glass of energy.On the sides, a weapon rack appeared with different arraignment of weapons on it.Vather slowly picked up his favorite weapon, the spear as it gave him a good distance for attacking his enemies and also giving him enough time to defend himself.

"Activate level 5".He voiced out in the air as three huge circles appeared in the sides about 5 metres away from him."Activating early stage level 5" a robotic voiced out.3 blade shot out of a circle moving with speed towards Vather who simply slashed in front of him as the blades were sent reeling back.3 more blade came out but this time from all of the three circles.Throwing his spear high into the sky he slowly crouched down placing his hand on the ground he pushed with all his strength sending him flying upwards to the sky as the 9 blades collided together below him.He was pulled down back by gravity, gently landing on his two feet,his hand slowly stretched in front of him as he caught the spear with accurate precision.

"Activating peak level 5" the same robotic voice out again. A flurry of blades emerged out of the circle faster than a stone fired from a catapult.Seeing the unending amount of blades flying towards him Vather slowly closed his eyes.He focused on the direction of the air drifting passing him,his heart beating slowly in his chest, a slight smile appeared on Vather's face.

Rolling the spear in his hands with speed,spearlight and blade flashes could be seen in the next moment as Vather rolled the spear in his hand parrying every blade moving towards him with accurate precision not taking even half a step back from the force of the collision .

The flurry of blades slowly stoped as Vather's speed of rolling too also slowed down when suddenly a blade shot out from the circle at his back with twice the former speed .He skillfully rotated the spear in his hand and slashed behind him without even looking back.

"Level 5 completed, congratulations on finishing the levels". The blue dome slowly disappeared while the weapon rack descended into the ground .A smile emerged on Vather's lips as he slowly opened his eyes,he felt he could feel every particules drifting past him 3 times better than before,a growth in strength even he himself did not understand."Your reward for completing the level are

The spear in Vather's hand slowly disappeared as a beautiful blue glove suddenly appeared in his right hand with a spear image imprinted on it.

His smile widened even more as he laughed loud into the air,so much pain,so much hardwork,so much effort he put into perfecting his spearmanship and he was finally rewarded with his own spear.A recognition of his hardwork and sufferings.

In the end, were those 3 years finally worth it,they definitely are.

A young man sat on the top of the mansion looking at the twinkling stars in the sky,He slowly stood up from the ground his gaze shifting to the two moons in the sky which were perfectly curved and bright.He moved his gaze away looking at the faraway peaks and rivers which were glowing with blue light far off in the distance.

A rare phenomenon which occurs only on the planet as they glow blue when the two moons are full moons.

Vather slowly raised his right hand as he looked at the gloves in his hand and raised it up into the sky,the blue light on it increasing with greater intensity. A smile bloomed on his face as he took in a deep breath.

This was the place he had stayed for all his life,it would be a lie if he wasn't reluctant to leave but he knew he had no choice.The world need him.His clan was waiting for him.He has to leave but he silently swore to himself to return one day.A day he will be able to easily make his own choice on whether to leave or stay.

A gigantic spaceship appeared in space near a blue planet.A light emerged from the dome sorrounding the blue planet scanning it before it slowly parted.The spaceship slowly landed on the ground.

A knock could be heard as Vather slowly opened the door.A man with black air and strict face wearing a dark red battlesuit stood before him.

"Are you Vather Celestria?"he asked his voice lound and booming in the air.

"Yes, I am"Vather replied not a bit of discomfort on his face as they remained as blank as ever.

"You have 10 minutes to prepare your luggage, you are joining the military".

"There'll be no need Sir "He replied showing his travel bag in his hands to the man.

"Good,then come with me". Vather followed the man into the spaceship slightly surprised by the size.

Entering into the spaceship he discovered it was almost filled to the brim with other students some looking nervous some looking sad while others have blank expression on their face.Vather simply sat on an empty seat close to the windows and closed his eyes.

"The last student has been picked up,return to military base".

Vather opened his eyes and look through the window of the spaceship as he watched the mansion slowly become smaller till it became a tiny dot in the distance.

"Goodbye"he voiced out as he slowly closed his eye the determination in them increasing in intensity.
