Three students immediately rushed towards Vather as he dipped both his hands into his pockets and slowly moved towards the trio, unhurried.One of them appeared before him as he slammed a punch on his face but Vather easily sidestepped as he shifted his head to the left evading the blow.

A claw shaped hand covered in scales moved towards his head in the next second as he dodged to the right again and slammed his back leg on the young man's back as he was sent reeling with even more speed towards the barrier surrounding the stage.

Khalid felt a force smash into his own back as his spine made a crunch sound.He was sent reeling into the barrier with uncontrollable speed as he smashed into it frommaking his head spin a little.He could feel an iron taste in his mouth as he couldn't believe he was injured with a single kick.

Vather continued working forward calmly as if he didn't do anything and was just taking a stroll on the battle stage.

"Step,Step,Step"

A gentle footsteps like that of a gentleman and a small polite smile hung on that handsome face.That's all he needed to make the last student,John Coltrane,loose his cool as he also moved forward running towards him.

John clapsed his hands together as he muttered to himself.

"Ice crystal technique, diamond core"three diamond cores made of ice immediately appeared behind him as he pointed his hands towards Vather causing them to immediately move towards him.

The young man who passed by Vather suddenly placed his hands on the floor as he muttered to himself

"Earth control Art:Earthen cage"

A dome made of earth around a ten metres of Vather immediately rose up as they traped him within while three ice crystals move towards his head.

"Working together,huh,a smart choice"

Vather muttered as the crystal collided against Vather causing the Earthen cage to immediately explode with a bang as dust erupted covering everyone's view.

John looked towards the dust as he was pretty confident even him couldn't take the full force of those ice crystals and wondered if he has even outdone it a little but when the dust settled the crowd sucked in a deep breath.

There was no one in the collapsed earten cage.

John's eyes constricted as he wondered how Vather was not in the cage,but before he could even move a muscle, airwaves blasted around the entire stage as a young man wearing a blind fold appeared less than an inch before him,an amused smile hung on his face as he stared at his own own dark pupils.

Vather slowly stretched out his hands as he placed them gently on John's shoulder and pulled forward a little making John bend forward as he smashed his knee on his stomach.

Shock, absolute shock.That was what John felt as he couldn't comprehend what was happening.How did he come out of the attack, without even a single scratch on him.Everyone saw the Earthen cage surrounding him while the ice crystals slammed on his face,right?then how come there was no injuries on him at all,his blind fold wasn't even dusty at all.

He knew it was an incredibly simple answer that even he didn't want to believe:

Vather just ran.

All the Earthen cage surrounded was an afterimage.What the ice crystals slammed into was just an afterimage.He simply moved out of the way before they could use their Abilities.Yeah,it was that simple.

Before he could react,the young man placed his hands on his shoulder pulling him forward a little,when he felt a force smash into his stomach causing him to immediately spurt out blood from his mouth as he was sent reeling upwards with speed in the air.

'The power behind the knee,it was..was like a mountain'John muttered weakly to himself as a body could be seen rising up into the sky to about 15 metres before falling to gravity as it smashed into the ground leaving a deep pit in it.

"John Coltrane has been eliminated.

Reason: knocked out cold"

A notification rang out from the AI in the battle stage as all the students stared in awe at Vather who was already moving towards his next opponent,his hands dipped into his pockets as he moved towards Micheal calmly and with a polite smile on his face.

Michael was shocked that the second early meridian forging students has been so quickly dealt with,but he wouldn't fall like that as he immediately slammed his right foot into the ground causing three huge balls of earth to immediately jump up from the ground as he slammed his legs on the ball causing them to moved towards him with speed.

Vather looked the incoming huge balls with his hands in his pocket as he moved slightly to the side and slammed his pillar of a leg into the three huge balls at the same time.

KABOOOOOOM

The balls were immediately blown to dust,as dust erupted in the battle stage.Michael looked at the collision,as dust covered the area blocking everyone's view.

"Step,Step,Step"

The sound of footsteps echoed in the battle stage as a young man slowly moved out of the dust.One of his hands wearing a blue glove could be seen dusting his military uniform as he kept moving towards Michael.

Vather finally arrived before Michael as he stared at him,a good head taller and asked him.

-It's that all-

-Yes-

-Then concede-

-I concede-Michael said as a notification rang out from the AI.

"Michael Brynn has been eliminated.

Reason: Conceding"

"Good boy"Vather said as he moved away from the Michael who soon got teleported away from the battle stage.

He looked towards the direction of the last person,when suddenly a gigantic phantom of an eagle shaped claw slammed into Vather as he was immediately lifted off his feet and slammed into the ground causing a dark hole of about 5 metres deep to appear in the ground.

Khalid could be seen in the distance on one knee,blood completely drained of his face as blood oozed out of from his mouth while torn veins could be seen on his body but a smile was present on his face nonetheless.

"I guess even the mighty can fall"Khalid said to himself as he stared at the hole Vather was sent reeling into.

While Vather was busy subduing the other students,he saw the power gap and knew it wasn't something he could overcome.So he waited in the distance channelling all his dimensional energy into a technique waiting for when Vather will have dealt with the other two,while he just destroy him with his technique.

The technique placed an incredible strain on his body,and wasn't something for him to use as it will be incredibly fatal,but he went with it anyway as he knew his status In the military will rise if he was able to defeat the young man and he will even gain a new house with better dimensional energy.That was a win.

His cloudy looking eyes looked at all the students in the arena as he was expecting the

gazed of adoration,the cheers and the AI declaring him winner but he felt none of that as all the students were looking at his back strangely.

"The mighty that fall, is because they weren't mighty enough" a voice like a whisper said behind him as Khalid quickly tried turning to the back but a hand already slammed onto the back of his head as he immediately drifted into unconsciousness.

The last cloudy image was a blind fold young man who stood there with his golden red hair fluttering in the wind,a small polite smile on his face while he pocketed his hands.

"The mighty that fall,is because they weren't mighty enough" Khalid muttered to himself as he slowly drifted into unconsciousness,a strange smile on his face.

"The last participant has been defeated.
