Vahn waves his hand sending a stack of books at me and says "your first job is to go through all those books then we will start your tutelage on the basics of the five types of dark arts we practice ,1 mind,2 soul,3 offensive, 4 defensive and rituals,now get to it "

Taking the books from him and going back to my home I get ready for another training montage.

You can see baldur looking at a rat In his hands that is squirming ,trying to free itself, when suddenly a light flashes in baldurs palm and the rat dies ,with no sighs of injury ,as baldur had just destroyed his soul, killing him instantly, now ofcourse such a thing would be impossible to do against a real enemy as the soul of sentient beings can only be destroyed if the person casting the magic is leagues above them ,otherwise the best you can do is damage them. But even that would be a serious blow, as an injury to the soul is quite serious,ofcourse at the same time such a spell takes time and a shit ton of magic to cast hence its not exactly usable in battle .

Baldur is broken out of his thoughts by a voice "not bad for a beginner"

I look back and see vena leening on the wall of the training courtyard

"Thankyou,may I ask to what do i owe the pleasure of your visit"

"I want to spar with you"

Heh,looks like her pride couldn't take what happened 6 months ago ,probably been on her mind since then as she's been avoiding me since then,I doubt any man or women for that matter has ever treated her like that before.

I walk closer to her look her in the eyes and say "..no" her eyes widen In shock "what!, why not!"

"I'm not running a charity here sweetheart if you want something from me,you need to offer something aswell"

She grits her teeth for a moment but then relents and says "fine ,I lead missions of assassination ,recon and theft once every month,given to me by my father ,I can add you to my team ,give you a chance to actually use the skills you learn here "

Oh?,this is interesting,very interesting indeed. I'd have to hide my identity and not use my divinity but it's not like I need to, I'm strong enough without my divinity aswell.

"I agree ,.....now come at me "

Vena automatically covers her arms in the flames of corruption upto her shoulders and attacks me. She moves so fast even the elite warriors of asgard would have trouble reacting.

....I slap her left hand away, duck her right  ,and punch her stomach, causing her to puke blood and get sent flying back, knocked out.

....huh,maybe I should have held back a bit more ,after all being stronger then weaklings just makes her a stronger weakling in my eyes.

I duck under Vena's kick ,and dodge a giant fireball of corruption she sent at me ,goddamn when did she learn how to throw fuckin hadukens!.

I flash behind her and literally kick her ass,sending her flying and onto the ground.

"You asshole!!!"

Laughing I walk towards her and help her get up

"You know, looking at you one wouldn't be able to tell ,but your ass is surprisingly quite soft"

"Fuck you!"

Seeing her angry and blushing face I just laugh even more, ive gotten to know her over the year and I've found out what a cute little masochist she is, and entirely inexperienced In the matters of the other sex ,as the vuatu value power ,and as the second strongest in the tribe ,she hasn't put any man in her eyes,and no man was brave enough to try and court the daughter of their god.

Which just makes teasing her even more fun for me.

"Enough ,of your bullshit we've gotten another mission,this time on xander"

"Oh and what's in it for me"

Though I won the right to participate in the missions from her ,I made sure to make it clear I wouldn't do it for free ,even if it is giving me experience, I can just get that on my own,asgard has many enemies and I'm sure father wouldn't mind me taking some out for experience. Not that vena minds though for one she likes my company on missions and 2 she agrees with me ,I'm good at what I do,better then even her hence I deserve compensation.

"Cheh,we've been paid to assassinate one of the nova corps leaders, you'll get 5 % of the cut as usual"

"Done, lead the way"
