Visiting the floral store

The bamboo plantation was located in the backyard of the traditional Chinese building complexes. The trees looked greener and taller as they stood motionlessly blocking the sun.

Ray cast his god eye technique to the trees and found many trees mutated. But only triple dozen or so had vermillion bamboo shoots.

Ray pointed at the trees and took out shovels and axe as they cut the trees and took out their shoots.

"Wow! They just look like red coloured diamonds!" exclaimed Kai as he held a vermillion coloured crystal shoot.

Others were also mesmerised by it. The shoots had mutated to become vermillion crystal-like structures that sparkled and reflected the sunlight. They look so beautiful that they were awed by it.

After Ray collected the last vermillion bamboo shoot, he finally heaved a sigh of relief.

"Okay! let's go to find sunflower seeds!"

They went to the biggest floral store which was located in the centre of the city. The store was usually bustling with the crowd on normal days but now the store sign and pillars of the shop had broken as a huge tree had fallen over it during the earthquake.

"Who is gonna break it?" asked Nathan suddenly as everyone turned their head towards Lucas and blinked.

Lucas facepalmed and nodded as he grabbed a random metal pipe he found on the side and strikes it on the closed shutter of the door. Finally, after 10 minutes, when Lucas had expended all his energy that the shutter door broke open!

"Hehee.. good work bro!!" laughed Leo as he patted Lucas's shoulder only to get a glare on return.

The interior of the shop was more or less intact and since no owner cared for their shop, so Ray and his friends wantonly gathered useful flowers for alchemy.

He dashed towards the interior of the store and carefully collected the plants as much they could store.

"Should I collect Purple passionflower?" asked Ray hesitating.

"Hehe... of course... it will be of good use... hahaha!" laughed Leo as he pumped to collect all of them.

Well, later Ray regretted remembering this incident as he didn't stop Leo to collect a bunch of them.

"Only thing is to collect is demon core. I don't think we are strong enough to fight level 5 beast head-on!" said Nathan seriously.

"Yeah! Let's hunt more low-level demon beasts today."

The rest nodded as they left for searching the locality for demon beasts. Soon in an abandoned, collapsed building they found a group of mutated demon cats relishing on the half-buried dead people.

They were madly tearing up the limbs of the deceased and gobbled them up. With mouths full of blood and raw flesh, they were having a carnival!

"Disgusting beasts!" sneered Leo as he fired bullets at them.

"Leave a breath on them if possible. I wish to take the last strike!" requested Ray as he rushed past them.

"Sure" replied others as they also dashed towards the demon beasts.

The demon beasts also noticed them as they roared with bloodthirsty and rushed towards them opening their bloody mouths, to tear them apart.

Sneering, Ray waved his long blade as it cut apart three rushing beasts in one stroke and dashed forward to other incoming beasts.

"Die!!"
