Cold night massacre (1)

It was finally the long-awaited night with the eerie moon shining in the cold night sky. The weather had gotten colder these days.

The roads were fully deserted and stores closed with no humans seen in the night.

Only some roars of animals and screams of humans could be heard sometimes breaking the silence of the cold night.

This time Ray took his father along with his own uncle, Nathan and Leo's dad joined their team. Even though those with medium grade did not start cultivation yet but only sensed qi but they were still slightly stronger than normal humans as the qi had started to nourish their bodies.

They only had one goal! That is to kill every goon!

Ray and Nathan being the strongest were at the forefront. Ray held his long blade as he scouted the way along with Nathan.

The place of the goon's den was a well-known five-star hotel. Normal people would not even imagine that such a renowned hotel was under a gangster's business. Now it was unoccupied if not because of the laughter and noises coming from its interiors.

The other almost naked goons curiously looked at him who proudly replied, "Hehe.. after I killed the mayor's mother, that coward mayor generously offered all his cash along with his wife and daughter to fuck them. Haahaa that milf tasted great!!"

"What about the chick?" asked another goon pervertedly as he was tearing the clothes of another girl who was screaming in despair.

Ray and Nathan coldly listened to their filthy gossip from behind. Ray signalled Nathan and both of them swiftly rushed towards the dozen goons and waved their blade for a clean cut from their throats.

Blood spewed up like a fountain from their necks when their heads separated from their body. It all happened in some seconds when four of them already died and when the goons came to their senses and tied to shoot at them, it was already late.

The girls who were raped sighed in relief seeing the goons killed. Some of them even kowtowed to them. Ray just glanced at them and left to kill more goons.

Lucas and his dad, who were military experts already caught them from behind and open fire at the rest of them. ..

RAT..TA..RAT..TA..TA..

Wasting no time, Ray and Nathan rushed forward to search for more goons as they knew the leftovers goons would be easily dealt with by the rest of his people.

The hotel had five floors. As far as Ray knew before the apocalypse, the 5th floor was the storage floor when ammunitions were stored and also CCTV control room, while the 4th floor was for VIPs where ministers and wealthy people used to take pleasure with women. Only 1st to 3rd floor was available for booking for customers.

Ray estimated that the leader should be on the 4th floor. On their way through the ground floor, they killed the goons swift and fast in single strokes.

When they were almost done clearing the ground floor and was ready to charge through the first floor, the other goons were finally alerted.

"Bastard!! Kill them!!" roared a bulky leader as he charged towards Ray with a bulky hammer.

Ray inspected the leader and found him at level 1.

"System use triple exp streak bonus card now."

Seeing the incoming hammer at his head, Ray decisively dodged and viciously kicked his right leg in the goon's rib cage.

The goon howled miserably as the crunching blow landed on his rib cage, breaking most of its bones.

When the goon's mournful wail reverberated across the entire floor, the crowd were petrified and their hair stood of their ends.

Most of them were normal thugs and this mini leader was the strongest of them. Seeing this gut-wrenching sight as the bones of the rib cage broke and pierced open through their leader's organs in awkward, unnatural angles made breath halted.

Almost everyone on the first floor was terrified and looked at Ray with fear in their eyes. To pierce someone's ribs bones with a single kick was simply unheard of. Perhaps their boss could do that truly.

Subconsciously, they placed Ray at the same level as their boss.

"Sp..aaree mee..Spare...me.." mumbled the bulky goon incoherently as he lowered his body to assume a half-kneeling posture.

Ray just sneered as he signalled his party to resume killing these vile people while they resisted.

The bulky goon thought that Ray's attention has left him and he picked up his hammer again and rushed towards Ray behind his back.

"DIE YOU LITTLE BASTARD!!!" he roared as he struck the hammer again furiously.

Ray seemed to have a pair of eyes behind his back as he turned back at the critical moment and waved his blade toward the hammer.

Clash! Bang!

The goon was thrown backwards from the clash as he vomited blood along with pieces of organs and glared at Ray in disbelief.

"Ho..w cou..ld y..you be s..so.. str..ong?

The goon always thought that it was Ray's tricky attack which made him severely injured and thought that he would win they frontally clashed..

Now the goon was horror-struck that he had only one thought in his mind... RUN!!

He rapidly got up and fled at topmost speed. But how could Ray lose out his chance to obtain experience points? He decisively gave a chase and caught up with him.

Ray sneered and he mercilessly waved his blade towards the goon's throat. The blade whizzed through air cleaving through it and slashed toward his throat in a fast, accurate, ruthless way.

"NOOO!!!!!"

Splash!~

The head whose eyes were open and full of despair flew up and then rolled towards the crowd, leaving a stream of blood on the floor.

Ray's expression was ice-cold as blood splashed from the neck towards his face.

He contemptuously smiled and coldly wiped the blood like wiping dirty sweat.

At the same time, he heard the system notification like a symphony to his ears.
