I hope you all have been doing well!
I read the comments and saw that many readers have trouble understanding the process of levelling up. So this is a small explanation chapter!
♦Conditions to level up :
1. You need each stat +10.
2. You need to fulfil the gene points quota.
—For example: to level up to 3 from 2.
all stats must be 20 +10 = 30 each.
Gene points must be 150 points. After which you can level up.
♦At a specific level, you get gene points from the level higher only! I mentioned it in chapter Crisis(3) in the system's quote.
—For example: At level 2, you get gene points from level 3 monsters and above and NOT from monsters below and same level!
My logic is simple!
Since every human can kill/defeat any monster/ humans to gain their gene points, so gaining it from the same level or weaker beings will make the humans go slaughter the weaker beings without any restrictions to level up infinitely.
It's like you can work less to level up, so why tire yourself by killing higher level ones?!
That's why the restriction!
♦Sam wants to save gene points of higher-level monsters to level up higher levels. I mentioned it in chapter Crisis(4).
— For example: Sam saves gene points of level 3 monsters when he is at level 1 so that he can use it to level up at 3. While being at level 1, he can use gene points from level 2 monsters to level up at 2.
♦After levelling up the gene points resets!
I have seen readers misinterpreting the meaning.
—For example, in chapter Crisis (10), the gene points are 60/200 when he is already at level 3.
Till level 10, each level adds 50 gene points extra.
So when you are at level 1 you need a total of 100 gene points to level up at 2. After level 2, the gene points reset to 0 and again you need a total of 150 gene points to level up at 3. Similarly, after reaching level 3, the gene points reset to 0 and again you need a total of 200 gene points to level up at 4.
Here, Sam killed only a few level 4 red-eyed rabbits, this is 60/200 gene points after the reset!
♦Only Sam has system! But the process of level up is the same for every human.
—Every human needs a specific amount of average stat points and a specific amount of gene points to level up every 10 levels.
For example: You need a total of 2750 gene points and an average of 100 stats to go from level 0 to 10. The distribution may be 'inconsistent' BUT to go from level 10 to 11, you must have that specific number of gene points and stats.
—System breaks down the gene points and stats 'evenly' and 'consistently' for each level. Thus Sam has restrictions to level up at each level. BUT, this makes his strength even and consistent throughout, UNLIKE others who can have inconsistent distributions of gene points and stats!
♦Every 10th level is crucial and marks a barrier with its next level. And at every 10th level, humans can awaken a new ability/superpower and can evolve the already existing one.
—For example: You have a "Z" superpower which itself is at level 1 at your CULTIVATION/ POWER level 10. After your CULTIVATION/ POWER level up at 11, you will awaken the "Y" superpower which is at level 1 and simultaneously evolve the "Z" superpower at level 2.
So that's why Sam's painting superpower has (0/5000) bar mentioned! You need to fulfil this exp bar and simultaneously level up at 11 to evolve it.
