Dead in the Water

A truck goes passed a neon sign that says HOTEL, behind a building that says "The Lynnwood INN." The impala is parked in front and inside the restaurant there is mostly a empty plate in front of Dean, Sarah was sitting in front of him and he was was circling obituaries in a newspaper and he circles and obituary that catches he's attention and says to Sarah "Hey this sounds interesting Carlton, Sophie - The Carlton family is sad to announce the death of their beloved daughter in a tragic swimming accident. Sophie Carlton 18, was having her [...] Lake Manitoc WI, an [...] suddenly [...]." Sarah says "Wow, I feel sorry for the family it might be a case, could be worth checking out." A waitress came over all flirty with dean of course she wasn't exactly impressed and she asks "Can I get you anything else?" Dean looks up with a pen in his mouth and smirked and before he says anything Sam joins them and says "Just the check, Please." Wendy just simply says "Okay." She walks away and dean looks at him but he was about to say something but then he looked at Sarah and then he stopped himself knowing how she felt about him and he felt about her.

She walks away and dean looks at him but he was about to say something but then he looked at Sarah and then he stopped himself knowing how she felt about him.

The three of them arrived at the Carlton House, Dean knocked on the door and Will Carlton opens the door, and Dean asks "Will Carlton?" Will said "Yeah, that' right." Dean then introduces the three of them he says "I'm Agent Ford, This is Agent Hamill and This is Agent Organa we're with the US wildlife services." The three of them show their badges, Bill Carlton is sitting on the bench on the dock and will brings Sam, Sarah and Dean around to see him and he then says "She was about a hundred yards out, that's where she was dragged down." Dean said "And you sure sure she didn't drown?" Will looked at Dean and said "Yeah, she was a varsity swimmer, she practically grew up in the lake and she was safe out there, as in her own bathtub."

Sam asked "So no splashing? No sign of distress?" Will looked at Sam and said "No, that's what I'm telling you." Sam asked "Did you see any shadows in the water? Maybe some dark shapes, breach the surface?" Will said "No, Again she was really far out there." Dean asked "You ever see any strange, tracks by the shoreline?" Will said "No, never why? Why, what do you think is out there?" Dean answered with "We'll let you know as soon as we do." Dean and Sarah head back to the car and then Sam asks "What about your father?" Dean and Sarah stop walking and turn around and Sam asks "Can we talk to him?" Will turns to look at Bill, then turns back and says "Look, if you don't mind, I mean....he didn't see anything and he's kind of been through alot." Sam simply says "We understand." The three of them headed back to the Impala.

They arrived at the station and Sheriff Jake Devins was talking to Sam, Sarah and Dean and he asked "Now, I'm sorry but why does the Wildlife Service care about an accidental drowning?" Sarah said "You sure it's accidental? Will Carlton saw something grab his sister." He looked at Sarah and said "Like what?" They walk into the Sheriff's office and he motions them to sit down which they do and then the Sheriff sits down in his chair and says "Here, sit please. There are no indigenous carnivores in that lake, there's nothing even big enough to pull down a person, unless it was the Loch Ness Monster." Dean simply says "Yeah." He laughs and adds "Right." Sam and Sarah glance over at dean and Jake says "Will Carlton was traumatized, and sometimes the mind plays tricks still---we dragged the entire lake, we even ran a sonar sweep, just to be sure, and there was nothing down there." Dean looks at the sheriff and says "That's weird though, I mean that's, that's the third missing body this year." Jake replies with "I know. These People from my town, these are people I care about."

Dean simply says to the sheriff "I know." Jake says "Anyways....all this....it won't be a problem much bigger." The three of them was confused and then Sarah asked "What do you mean?" The Sheriff looked at her and said "Well, the dam of course." Sarah said "Of course the dam. It's uh, sprung a leak." Sheriff said "It's falling apart, and the feds won't give us the grant to repair it, so they've opened the spillway and in another six months, there won't be a town either; but as Federal Wildlife, you already knew that." Sarah simply said "Exactly." There was a tap at the office door and it was Andrea barr and she says "Sorry, am i interrupting?" Sam, Sarah and Dean stood up and she says "I can came back later." The Sheriff says "Lady and Gentlemen this is my daughter." Dean says "It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Dean." He shakes her hand she shakes it back and says "Andrea Barr, Hi."

The Sheriff said "They're from the Wildlife Service about the lake." Andrea looked at them and simply said "Oh." A boy Lucas barr, walks around andrea Dean notices and leans down and says "Oh hey there. What's your name?" Lucas walks away without speaking and andrea follows, Dean stands up and Jake says "His name is Lucas." Lucas and Andrea are in the main room and Andrea hands Lucas a box of crayons and sam asks "Is he Okay?" The Sheriff gets up from his chair and says "My grandson's been through a lot, we all have." He walks to the office door and says "Well if there's anything else i can do for you, please let me know." Sam, Sarah, Dean and Jake leave the office and then dean asks "Thanks, you know now that you mentioned it, could you point us in the place of a reasonably priced motel?" Andrea said "Lakefront Motel, Go around the corner and its about two blocks south." Dean said "Two---would you mind showing us?" Andrea laughs and says "You want me to walk you two blocks?" Dean replied "Not, if its any trouble." Andrea said "I'm heading that way anyway." She turns to her dad and says "I'll pick up Lucas at three." She then turns to Lucas and says "We'll go to the park, okay, sweetie?" She kisses lucas on the forehead and Dean waves as they leave, Jake nods and Sam says "Thanks again."

Andrea leads Sarah, Dean and Sam and Dean says "So Cute Kid." Andrea simply says "Thanks." They cross the street and Sarah was rather quiet which wasn't like her and sam said "Hey you alright you've been awfully quiet for a bit is everything all right?" Sarah smiled and said "Yeah, just feel bad for Lucas, something must've really made him not want to speak at all, are you all right sam?" Sam looks at sarah and says "Yeah, i'm worried about Lucas as well the poor kid." Dean said to Andrea "Kids are the best, huh?" Andrea glances at him and ignores him, they stop in front of a building that says "LAKEFRONT MOTEL." Andrea looks at the three of them and says "There it is, Like I said Two Blocks." Sam and Sarah said "Thanks." She then looks at Dean and says "Must be hard, with your sense of direction, never being able to find you way to a decent pickup line." That caused Sam and Sarah to try their hardest not to laugh whilst dean was dumbfounded and then andrea said as she was walking away "Enjoy your stay!"

Sarah and Sam both look at Dean and then Sarah says "Kids are the best? You hate kids." Dean looked at Sarah and said "I love kids." Then Sam got involved and said "Name three children, that you even know." Dean thinks and he comes up empty, Sam and Sarah waves a hand and heads for the motel and dean scratching his head and says "I'm thinking!" At the motel Sarah was in the shower, Dean is going through his clothing and Sam is on the laptop and he says "So there's the three drowning victims this year." Dean asked "Any before that?" Sam looking at his laptop says "Uh, yeah." Sam has a browser window opened to The Lake Manitoc Tribune: DROWNING TAINTS ICE FISHING FESTIVAL. He then clicks on the article and, another browser window comes up again the tribune 12 YEAR OLD GIRL DROWNS IN LAKE, Second Drowning in 6 months at Lake Manitoc and sam says "Six more spread out over the past thirty-five years. Those bodies were never recovered either, if there is something out there, it's picking up its pace."

Sarah comes out of the bathroom in a different outfit and she joins sam and dean at the laptop and dean says "So what, we got a lake monster on a binge?" Sam says "This whole monster theory just bugs me." Sarah says "Why?" Sam replied "Loch ness uh, Lake Champlain, there are literally hundreds of eyewitness accounts, but here almost nothing." He looks back at the Lake Manitoc Tribune page and continues "whatever it is out there, no one's living to talk about it." Sam scrolls down the comments and then Dean sees something and says "Wait, Barr, Christopher barr where have i heard that before?" Sam reads from the page "Christopher barr, the victim in may." He clicks the link, opening a new page LOCAL MAN IN TRAGIC ACCIDENT. The picture loads: it shows a police officer with Lucas and Sam said "Oh, Christopher Barr was Andrea's husband, Lucas's father. Apparently he took Lucas swimming, Lucas was on a floating wooden platform when chris drowned. Two hours before the kids was rescued." Sam clicks the picture for a better look, then scratches his head and says "Maybe we have an eyewitness after all." Sarah said "Poor Lucas, must've been horrifying to see your own parent drown like that, no wonder he doesn't want to talk at all."

At the park the following day kids are laughing and playing, Andrea sits on a bench watching Lucas, who is at another bench coloring and playing toy soldiers, sarah says "Can we join you?" Andrea looks up and sees Sam, Dean and Sarah and says "I'm here with my son." Dean looks over at Lucas and he says "Oh. Mind If i say hi?" He goes over to Lucas and Andrea says to Sarah "Tell your friend this whole Jerry Maguire thing is not gonna work on me." Sarah and Sam sit down next to Andrea and sarah says "I don't think that's what it's about." She looks over at Dean and Lucas, he approaches him and says "How's it going?" He kneels down next to Lucas who's colouring, when Lucas doesn't even look up dean picks up one of the toy soldiers and says "Oh, I used to love these things." He imitates guns and explosions, then tosses the soldier down and continues and says "So crayons are more you thing? That's cool, chicks dig artists." Lucas has a pile of drawings beside him on the bench and dean takes a look at them, the top one is of a black swirl; the second one is a drawing of a red bicycle and he says "Hey, these are pretty good you mind if i sit here and draw with you for awhile?" Lucas of course didn't say anything so dean said "I'm not so bad myself." He sits on the bench, picks up a plain bit of paper and starts drawing.

He then says "You know, I'm thinking you can hear me, you just don't want to talk and I don't know exactly what happened to your dad, but I know something real bad and I think i know how you feel, when i was your age I saw something." He pauses for a minute and then he continues and says "Anyway, well maybe you don't think anyone will listen to you, uh...or believe you. I want you to know that i will, you don't even have to say anything you can draw me a picture abou what you saw that day, with your dad on the lake. Okay, no problem this is for you." Dean holds out to Lucas the picture he drew, its stick figures and says "This is my family." He points out each person in turn and he pauses and then says "All right, i'm a sucker artist I'll see you around Lucas." He gets up and rejoins the other three and Lucas looks at the picture as Dean rejoins the others Andrea says "Lucas hasn't said a word, not even to me not since he's dad's accident."

Dean said "We heard and we are sorry." She nods and then sam asks "What the doctors saying?" Andrea looks at Sam and says "That's its a kind of post-traumatic stress." Sarah says "That can't be easier, for either of you." Andrea says "We moved in with dad, He'll help us out alot. It's just....when i think about what Lucas went through, what he saw...." There was a pause and then Dean said "Kids are strong, you'll be surprised what they can deal with." Lucas leaves the bench, heading for the group and Andrea says "You know, he used to have such a life, he was hard to keep up with, to tell you the truth and now he just sits there, drawing pictures, playing with those army men. I just wish...." Before she finished her sentence Lucas walks up, carrying a picture and she says to Lucas "Hey Sweetie." Lucas hands Dean a drawing and dean says "Thanks Lucas." It's a picture of the Carlton's house and Lucas heads back to the bench.

At the Carlton's house Bill is sitting in a chair, doing nothing Will approaches and says to his dad "Hey, Dad? You, you should probably eat something, I'm gonna make some dinner, okay?" Bill says nothing and turns his head away and Will heads into the kitchen, washing a fish in the sink he doesn't turn the water off when he begins cutting the fish and then the water turns brown, will notices and he shuts off the water and the black water comes up through the drain and fills the sink, will rolls up his sleeve to pull the plug from the drain, He comes up with the plug but the water doesn't drain. He sticks his arm back into the water and something grabs his arm and pulls him under and unfortunately he drowns in the sink and the water goes down the drain.

Dean and Sarah are inside the motel room, he was sitting on a bed and sarah was sitting at the table doing some more research, she had her earphones in her ears listening to music, then Sam comes into the room and closes the door behind him and sarah takes off her earphones and he says "So, i think it's safe to say we can rule out nessa." Sam sat down the bed and Sarah said "What do you mean?" Sam looked over at her and says "I just drove past the Carlton's house and there was an ambulance there, Will Carlton is dead and the cause of death drowned in the sink." Sarah sat on the other bed and looked at him confused and so did Dean and then Dean said "What the hell? So you're right, this isn't a creature we're dealing with something else." Sam said "Yeah, but what?" Dean replied "I don't know. Water wraith, maybe? Some kind of demon? I mean something that controls water....water that comes from the same source."

Sarah said "The Lake." Dean simply replies with "Yeah." Sam said "Which explains, why it's upping the body count the lake is draining and it'll be dry in a few months, whatever it wants it's running out of time." Dean says "And if it can get through the pipes, it can get to anyone almost anywhere, this is gonna happen again soon." Sarah said "And we do know one thing for sure, we know this thing has got something to do with Bill Carlton." Dean says "Yeah, it took both his kids." Sam then said "And i've been asking around, Lucas's dad --- Bill Carlton's godson."

The three of them arrive back at Bill Carlton's house and he was sitting outside on the bench and saw Dean, Sarah and Sam approaching him and Sam said "We'd like to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind?" Dean said "We're from the department ----." Before he could finish his sentence Bill said "I don't care who you are with, I've answered enough questions today." The sam said "Your son said he saw something in the lake. What about you? You ever see anything out there? Mr Carlton Sophie's drowning and will's death--we think there might be a connection to you or your family." Bill said "My children are gone. It's....It's worse than dying leave please." The three of them head back to the car and Sarah asks "What do you think?" Dean said "Aw, I think the poor guy's been through hell. I also think he's not telling us something." Sam and Sarah stopped at the impala but dean kept going which confused the both of them and Sarah said "What is it?" Dean says "Huh, maybe bill's not the only one who knows something." Dean pulls out the picture Lucas brought to him, which is of the Carlton's house the three look at each other.

They arrived at Devin's/barr's house and was inside, Andrea said "I'm sorry, but i don't think it's a good idea." Dean said "I just need to talk to him, just for a few minutes please." Andrea said "He won't say anything, what good is it gonna do?" Sarah said "Andrea, we think more people might get hurt. We think something's happening out there." Andrea said "My Husband, the others, they just drowned that's all." Dean said "If that's what you really believe, then we'll go. But if you think there's even a possibility that something else could be going on here, please let me talk to your son."

In Lucas's bedroom he's on the floor doing some colouring, toy soldiers standing around him. Dean, Sarah, Sam and Andrea approaching the doorway, he enters and crouches down by Lucas and he says "Hey Lucas, You remember me?" Lucas has drawn two more pictures of a red bicycle and dean continues "You know I, uh, I wanted to thank you for that drawing but the thing is i need your help again." Lucas is drawing a person in water, dean opens the house picture and puts it in front of Lucas and says "How did you know to draw this? Did you know something bad was gonna happen? Maybe you could nod yes or no." Lucas just kept colouring and dean continues and says "You're scared, it's okay i understand see when i was your age, i saw something real bad happen to my mom and I was scared too. I didn't feel like talking, just like you but see, my mom---i know she wanted me to be brave. I think about that every day and i do my best to be brave and maybe your dad, wants you to be brave too."

Lucas drops the crayon and looks up at dean, he hands him a picture of a white church, a yellow house and a boy with a blue baseball cap and red bicycle, in front of a wooden fence. Dean says "Thank you Lucas." Dean, Sarah and Sam are in the impala, sam holding the church picture and Dean says "Andrea said the kid never drew like that til his dad died." Sam says "There are cases --going through a traumatic experience could make people more sensitive to premonitions, psychic tendencies." Dean looks at Sam and says "Whatever's out there, what if Lucas is tapping into it somehow? I mean, it's only a matter of time before somebody else drowns, so if you've got a better lead, please." Sarah then said "All right, we've got another house to find." Dean says "The only problem is there's about a thousand yellow two-stories in this country alone." Sam looked at the picture and said "See this church? I bet there's less than a thousand of those around."

Dean looks at sam again and says "Oh, College boy think's he's smart." Sam said "You know,um, what you said about mom you never told me that before." Dean looking ahead whilst driving said "It's no big deal, oh God, we're not gonna have to hug or anything, are we?" Sam, Dean and Sarah approach a white church shaped like the one in Lucas's picture, Dean holds up the picture and looks at it, comparing it to the scene in front of him; there's a yellow house next to the church and a wooden fence near the house, Sam and Sarah look at Dean and the three of them look up at the church and cross the street to the house. They are inside the house dean says "We're sorry to bother you, ma'am but does a little boy live here, by chance? He might wear a blue ball cap, has a red bicycle." Mrs.Sweeney says "No sir, not for a long time. Peter's been gone for thirty-five years now." There's a picture of Peter on the side table Mrs.Sweeney sighs and continues "The police never---I never had any idea what happened. He just disappeared." Sam points out to Dean and Sarah a number of toy soldiers on a table and Sweeney continues her conversation "Losing him---you know, it's...worse than dying." Dean glances at Sam and Sarah and Dean says "Did he disappear from here? I mean, from this house?" Sweeney says "He was supposed to ride his bike straight home from school, and he never showed up." Sarah picks up a picture off the mirror and there are two boys in the picture, one Peter with a bicycle. Sarah turns the picture over and reads the back "Peter Sweeney and Billy Carlton, nineteen seventy."

At the Carlton's house Bill is sitting on a bench either talking to himself or the lake and he says "You've taken everything, everybody. I've got nothing, I didn't understand, I didn't believe now i think i do, i think i finally know what you want." In the impala Dean was driving, Sam and Sarah was in the passenger seats of course sam in front and sarah in the backseat behind dean, she was looking out of the window and Sam said "Okay, this little boy Peter Sweeney vanishes, and this is all connected to Bill Carlton somehow." Dean says "Yeah. Bill sure as hell seems to be hiding something, huh?" Sarah said "And the people that he loves, they're all getting punished." Dean said "So what if Bill had something to do with Peter?" Sam said "What if Bill killed him?" Dean said "Peter's spirit would be furious, it would want revenge, it's possible."

The following day, the impala pulls in front of the Carlton's house. Sam, Sarah and Dean approach the house and sam says "Mr Carlton?" An engine roars, the three of them go around the house to see Bill going out into the lake on his boat and Dean says "Hey check it out." Sam, Sarah and Dean run to the end of the dock yelling at Mr Carlton. Dean shouting "Mr Carlton! You need to come back! Come out of the water! Turn the boat around!" Sam yells "Mr Carlton!" Bill ignores them and continues going. The water rises up and fills his boat over and it vanishes.

At the Police station Lucas is sitting on a chair, rocking back and forth and Andrea is sitting next to him, holding a paper bag and plastic container and she asks Lucas "What's wrong?" Sam, Dean, Sarah and Jake Devins walk in the door and Andrea looks up and says "Sam, Dean, Sarah." She stands up, putting the bag and container on her chair and she says "I didn't expect to see you here." Sheriff said "So now you're on a first-name basis. What are you doing here?"Andrea said "I brought you dinner." To which Sheriff said "I'm sorry sweetheart, i don't really have the time." Andrea said "I heard Bill Carlton, is it true? Is something going on with the lake?" Sheriff said to his daughter "Right now, we don't know what the truth is. But I think it might be better if you and Lucas went on home." Lucas looks up and whines, looking stricken, he jumps and grabs Dean's arm.

Dean concerned and worried says to Lucas "Lucas, hey what is it?" Andrea said "Lucas." Dean says "Lucas, it's okay. It's okay. Hey Lucas, it's okay, it's okay." Andrea pulls Lucas away from Dean and leans him outside, he doesn't take his eyes off of Dean, Jake throws his jacket and goes into his office, Sarah, Dean and Sam follow him and then Jake says "Okay, just so we are clear, you see...something attack bill's boat, sending bill ---who is a very good swimmer, by the way---into the drink, and you never see him again?" Dean glances at Sam and Sarah and he says "Yeah, that about sums it up." Jake says "And I'm supposed to believe this, even though I've already sonar-sweep that entire lake? And what i'm describing is impossible? And you aren't really Wildlife Service?" The three of them looked at each other and then Sheriff said "That's right, I checked the department has never heard of you three."

Dean says "See that we can explain." But before he could even get a chance to explain the sheriff said "Enough, Please the only reason you're breathing free air is one of Bill's neighbors saw him steering out that boat just before you did. So, we have a couple of options here. I can arrest you for impersonating government officers and hold you as material witnesses to Bill Carlton's disappearance. Or, we can chalk this all up to a bad day, you get into your car, you put this town in your rearview mirror, and you don't ever darken my doorstep again." Sam said "Door number two sounds pretty good." The Sheriff just says "That's the one I pick."

In Lucas's bedroom, he was playing with the toy soldiers, drawing another black spiral and Andrea walks by his door in a robe and sees that Lucas is still awake and goes into his room and says "Baby, what are you doing up? Come on, Let's go to bed." She pick lucas up and puts him in his bed. Dean, Sarah and Sam was in the impala, waiting at a traffic light. A sign says I-43 North to Milwaukee is to the left, the light turns green but the impala doesn't move and sam says "Green." Dean says "What?" Sam said "The light is green." Instead of turning left he turns right and sarah says "Uh, the interstate's the other way." To which Dean simply said "I know."

Andrea was in the bathroom, she plugs the drain of her tub and turns on the water. Back to the Impala Sam, Sarah and Dean are in the car and Sam says "But i think this job is over dean." Dean says "I'm not sure." Sarah said "If Bill murdered Peter Sweeney and Peter's spirit got its revenge, case closed. The Spirit should be at rest." Dean said "All right, so what if we take off and this thing isn't done? You know, what if we've missed something? What if more people get hurt?" Sam says "But why would you think that?" Dean says "Because Lucas was scared." Sam says "That's what this is about?" Dean said "I just don't want to leave this town, until i know the kid's okay." Sam and Sarah both confused and then Sam says "Who are you? And what have you done with my brother?" There was some glancing between Sam and Dean.

Back at Devin's/Barr's house Andrea's bath was almost ready and she tests the water with one hand and she takes off her robe and gets into the bath. She leans back, grabs a washcloth and closes her eyes, The water coming out of the faucet turns brown. Andrea starts washing herself with the cloth, then opens her eyes and she screams and tries to get out of the tub, but something drags her down. In the hallway Lucas is banging on the bathroom door back in the bathroom andrea's head is pulled under the water and repeats.

Dean, Sam and Sarah had arrived and Dean was about to knock on the door when it opened and it was Lucas, worried he grabbed dean's arm and led him upstairs followed by Sam and Sarah. Water is pouring out from under the bathroom door and down the stairs, Lucas starts pounding on the door again and Dean pushes him over to sarah and sam and kicks the door. Lucas grabs Dean, so sam runs into the bathroom and sticks his arms in the tub, trying to pull andrea out of the bath. She is pulled back under, but sam doesn't give up and keeps pulling andrea until she's fully out of the bath and she starts coughing up water.

Dawn is breaking Sam and Andrea sit in the living room, she is dry and wearing comfortable clothing and Sam asks "Can you tell me?" Andrea simply said "No." Dean and Sarah are looking through notebooks on bookshelves and andrea says "It doesn't make sense." She starts crying and continues through her tears "I'm going crazy." She puts her hands in her face and then Sam comforts her and says "No, you are not. Tell me what happened, everything." Andrea said "I heard...I thought I heard..there was this voice." Sam asks "What did it say?" She replied with "It said...it said 'Come and Play with me.' She sobs again and then asks "What's happening?" Dean pulls out a scrapbook that says "Jake -- 12 years old" and opens it, flicking through the pages. He closes it again and goes to Sam and Andrea, sarah joins them, he puts the book down in front of Andrea, opens to a picture of Explorer Troop 37. He then asks "Do you recognise the kids in these pictures?" Andrea said "What? Um, um, no i mean except that's my dad right there. He must have been about twelve in these pictures."

She moves her finger over to another picture of Jake as a child, he is standing next to Peter Dean looks at both Sam and Sarah. Dean says "Chris Barr's drowning. The connection wasn't Bill Carlton, It must've been the sheriff." Sarah says "Bill and the Sheriff --they were both involved with Peter." Andrea was confused and said "What about chris? My dad---what are you talking about?" Dean looks sideways and says "Lucas?" He's staring out of the window and dean says "Lucas, what is it?" Lucas opens the door and walks outside, Everyone follows andrea says "Lucas, honey?" Lucas stops and looks at the ground and then at dean and dean says "You and Lucas get back to the house and stay there, okay?" Andrea pulls Lucas back to the house, Sarah, Sam and Dean presumably fetch shovels from the impala, before they start digging Sam's shovel clanks against something. They dig with their hands and pull out a red bicycle and sam says "Peter's bike." Jake had arrived and said "Who are you?" Sam, Dean and Sarah turn around Jake is there, pointing a gun at them Sam says "Put the gun down, Jake." They drop the shovels and Jake asked "How did you know that was there?" Dean asked "What Happened? You and Bill killed peter, drowned him in the lake and then buried the bike? You can't bury the truth, Jake. Nothing stays buried." Andrea sees her father with a gun aimed at Sam, Sarah and Dean she talks to Lucas "Go to your room sweetie, Now lock the door and wait for me. Don't come out."

Lucas runs off and andrea goes outside, Jake says "I don't know what the hell you are talking about." Dean says "You and Bill killed Peter Sweeney thirty-five years ago. That's what the hell i'm talking about." Andrea runs and shouts "Dad!" Dean says "And now you got one seriously pissed-off spirit." Sarah said "It's gonna take Andrea, Lucas, everyone you love. It's gonna drown them and it's gonna drag their bodies god knows where, so you can feel the same pain Peter's mom felt and then, after that, it's gonna take you, and it's not gonna stop until it does." Jake says "Yeah, how do you know that?" Sam said "Because that's exactly what it did to Bill Carlton." Jake says "Listen to yourself, all three of you. You're insane." Dean said "I don't really give a rat's ass what you think of us. But if we're gonna bring down this spirit, we need to find the remains salt and burn them into dust. Now tell me you buried peter somewhere, tell me you didn't just let him die in that lake." Lucas didn't go to his room, he's outside watching and Peter says "Come and Play with me." Lucas follows the voice and Andrea says "Dad, is any of this true?" Jake looked at her daughter and said "No. Don't listen to them, they're liars and they're dangerous." Andrea looks at her dad and says "Something tried to drown me, Chris died in the lake. Dad look at me."

Jake looks back at his daughter and she says "Tell me you --- you didn't kill anyone." He looks down and Andrea says "Oh my God." Jake says "Billy and I was at the lake, peter was the smallest one we always bullied him, it got rough we were holding his head under the water. We didn't mean to but we held him under too long and he drowned, we let the body go and it sank."Dean glances at Sam and Sarah and Jake continues and says "Oh, Andrea we was kids we was so scared, it was a mistake but andrea to say that I have anything to do with these drownings, Chris because of some ghost? It's not rational." Dean says "Alright listen to me, all of you we need to get away from this lake, as far as we can right now." Andrea turned her head around and saw Lucas going down to the lake and she gasps.

Jake shouts "Lucas!" They all run up to the dock, lucas is leaning over the side reaching for a toy soldier in the water. Peter saying "Come Play with me." Dean simply shouts "Lucas!" Andrea says "Lucas, baby stay where you are." A hand comes up and pulls Lucas into the Lake, the adults reached the edge of the lake. Jake stops, Peter's head is visible and he recognizes him. Dean and Sam keep running to the end of the dock and dive in. She was about to go into the lake when Sam says "Andrea stay there!" Andrea says "No, Lucas." To which sam says "We'll get him! Just stay on the dock with Sarah!" Sarah stood by Andrea's side and supported her whilst sam and dean was in the lake looking for Lucas. Jake takes off his jacket and walks into the lake Sarah shouts "Jake get out of the Lake." Andrea notices and says "Daddy,no!" Jake says "Peter, Lucas--he's, he's just a boy. Please, it's not his fault it's mine Please take me."

The following day Sarah, Dean and Sam walk out of the motel towards the impala that was parked and dean opens the boot and sarah tosses in the boot of the car and she says "Look, we're not gonna save everybody." Dean simply says "I know." Andrea said "Sam, Sarah, dean." She walks over to them with Lucas, Dean says "Hey." Andrea says "We're glad we caught you. We just, um, we made you lunch for the road." Lucas is carrying a tray full of sandwiches, Lucas insisted on making the sandwiches himself." Lucas says for the first time "Can I give it to them?" She says "Of course." She kisses Lucas on the head and Dean says "Come on, why don't you, me and Sarah go and load these in the car." The three of them headed to the car and Sam asked Andrea "How you holding up?" Andrea says "It's just gonna take a long time, to sort through everything, you know."The three of them got into the impala and waved Lucas and Andrea goodbye and drives away.
