Grunting the man accepted, not caring even if all the beast souls were of the worst aspect he'd still benefit from the encounter. Pleasantly surprised though when receiving all the beast souls, they weren't all of terrible quality basically all what one would expect from normal chance.

Silently nodding, the man wrote a page long recommendation on the spot in a few minutes. Handing the page over Ren was happy. "Good doing business military leader." He spoke before taking his leave.

Taking the rest of the day off, Ren sighed realizing he should start making the big trek toward steel armor shelter before entering the military academy.

He spend to the day sending applications before informing his father about his plans, so he wouldn't be worried when he stays in the sanctuary for a few weeks most likely a few months if he never stumbles across another shelter on the way.

The next day suited up with resources he got on his sacred-blood raptor mount, heading in the direction of steel armor shelter while mediating and think of the philosophy of the sanctuary's.

The ordinary creatures were all as strong as normal humans, while primitive creatures were twice as strong. Mutant creatures where likewise twice a strong as primitive creatures. Sacred creatures similarly were double the strength of mutant creatures and so on. But you couldn't rely solely on geno points.

A normal human was evenly matched against an ordinary creature with no combat experience. But after maximizing ordinary geno points. Switching focus to primitive creatures. You'd actually be weaker than a primitive creature. Needing to rely on beast souls, geno arts and training. It wasn't hard to over Cole the primitive grade. Mutant creatures though were even stronger than a human with fully maxed out ordinary and primitive geno points.

Requiring an even greater level of geno arts and training than normal. At this level teaming up because a popular trend, needing to gang up in groups to push forward.

While the gaps got even greater with sacred creatures. After maximizing all geno points up to sacred-blood. A human would finally just reach the strength of a sacred-blood creature.

Some sacred-blood creatures though had armor, weapons and even unique geno arts of their own, proving outliers, but better equals to full-fledged sacred-blood humans.

The daunting thing was that super creatures had twice the fitness of sacred-blood creatures and humans. Albeit none had special tools or geno arts. That would only exist in the second sanctuary, and above.

Two weeks passed of traveling with an equal amount of time without human contact. He sensed an abnormality, he was being stalked. Ignoring the stalking creature he waited for it to act.

An hour to be exact. A creature built like a horse, it had a snake neck and head as a tail in addition to a snake-like face as its head.

Ren quickly abandoned his mount facing the creature. Without the help of any beast souls. It was clear he was trying to hone his skills, letting the creature live longer than needed.

Having his fun Ren finished the creature off with a Yang infused punch to the neck.

"Sacred-blood creature snake-faced mustang killed. Beast soul gained. Eat it's flesh to gain 0 to 10 sacred-blood geno points randomly."

Summoning the nightmare-cat pet beast soul to devour the corpse. It would be the cats eleventh sacred-blood creature it consumed, still not evolving even now.

Ren knew how overpowered pet-type beast souls could be, but the amount they ate was really irritating him.

Sighing he continued on his journey, without stopping till the next shelter.

A teenage girl was wandering a dark forest, being her third month in the sanctuary and the heir of a prominent family apart of the Aries martial hall.

She was showered in highlevel beast souls, guides and better yet free geno points in all four categories.

After three months of not being allowed to roam the area and only eating meat of the sanctuary's creatures.

She had been tired of it. After all with all her geno points in addition to being the top disciple of the martial hall their should be little risk.

She would have been fine having some teammates but to increase safety, but knew that would tip off her master, so she snuck out without a word.

She had been able to max out all of her ordinary and primitive geno points, a half of mutant geno points and a third of her sacred-blood geno points.

Though she was inexperienced and wasn't smart about traversing the wilderness quickly losing her way her ended up wandering aimlessly.

Tired of walking she summoned a sacred-blood beat soul mount to hasten the process.

Though that ended up poorly now to far away from the shelter, her caretakers wouldn't be able to track her as easily.

Time passed for her wandering aimlessly for a month. Allowing her to adapt, forcing her to self learn how to hunt food to live.

Learning the law of the jungle thoroughly she eventually lost any worries finding confidence in herself.

Even slaying sacred-blood creatures alone without even maximizing her mutant or sacred geno points.

Her only worry was how long it would take to find a shelter and get back home.

Noticing a floating island in the sky and getting a bit to confident in herself. She summoned a pair of sacred-blood wings ascending into the sky toward the floating island, she noticed the intense winds threatening to blow her around.

She preserved eventually finding herself in a whole new environment filled with vines and creaks leading to a bush at the center of the island. And a being siting atop admiring the view.

She had heard of floating islands before and knew the being she saw was a creature of the sanctuary.

And although she new the creatures on islands were always a sacre-blood creature and a obnormaly stronger one at that.

She was filled with confidence planing on taking up the challenge.

Making her way toward the creature, the features of it came into view. It appeared to be some sort of humanoid.

The closer she got, the more terrified she appeared. The creature was identical to a shura. A creature all of humanity tended to fear due to their previous dominance outside the sanctuary. Humanity's greatest enemy.

Clenching her fist, she didn't back down desiring to follow through with her previous conviction. She continued.
