Chapter 2: Jade

When I woke up the next morning, I immediately got in the shower. After I got out, I glanced at myself in the mirror and what I saw shocked me. My hair was dyed a jet-black color with purple highlights, my once brown eyes were black, and I had a tattoo on my wrist. I went back to my room to get dressed and do my makeup when I got a text from a blocked number. The message said "If you're one of the lucky five people reading this, which means you have been accepted. Meet me at HQ and I'll explain everything then. -Anon." I called the guys and they said that they got the same message. "Wait, it said five but there are only four of us. Who could be the fifth?" "I don't know but I hope it's someone we all know," Cam said. We hung up a few minutes later and while I was at the mall with my family, we decided to head to the beach. When we got there and changed into our bathing suits, we were walking around for a spot when I got a call. It was the guys asking if I was still in Valencia and I told them I was at Valley Beach. "Hey, we are here too, we were bored so we and Kat are here," Diego said. "You guys want to meet up? We are heading to our usual spot." I said. I walked to our favorite/usual spot, which is near the pier when I noticed the guys. I walked behind Diego and tapped his shoulder. I didn't change much so they should recognize me. "Jade?" he asked. I rolled my eyes and smacked him. Well, who were you expecting? Katniss Everdeen?" "Yeah that's my bestie alright," Kat said hugging me. We started talking about Kat being the 5th person when my tattoo started hurting. I told them about it and showed it to them. The boys being themselves went insane (don't ask why because I have no idea) while Kat just rolled her eyes at them. "We should go walk and talk about this," Kat said. We nodded, and I told my parents that I was going to walk around. They just nodded, and I walked up to Diego (who waited for me) and we walked to the rest. We walked for a few miles when I noticed that there was no one around. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who noticed because Cam asked where everyone was. I was about to answer when I was interrupted. "Well, well, well look what the cat dragged in."
