Chapter 1(Jade)

It's 11:00 pm on a summer night and I'm in my study listening to music when I hear a knock at the window. I pause my music to hear if they knock again, but when they don't, I shrug and press play. A few seconds later, I hear it again. So, pausing my music again, I peek out the window and see Cameron, one of my best friends telling me to go come outside. I nod and put on my shoes before sneaking out. "What's happening?" I ask as soon as I got outside. "We have no idea; we were walking to get some food when they suddenly started following us. Then they caught up with us and are now trying to start shit." Cameron said as we walked to the other two guys who turn out to be Diego and Alejandro, my other two best friends. "Alright, let's make this quick, who are you and why are you bothering them?" I asked. "Aww look guys, the little girl is trying to act tough." I was about to retaliate when this girl appeared and glared at me." Who the fuck are you?" I asked really getting mad. "Your worst nightmare." She responded before kicking me. Letting my fighter instincts kick in, I dodged her kick a did a backflip. After landing, I punched her in the face, and she stagger back. She runs towards me again, so I kick her in the stomach ad she struggles to get up. I glance at the guys and see that they have huddled together while the other guys struggle to get up. "Let's go. We'll be back." The girl says, and they leave. "You guys okay?" I ask as I walk up to them. I'm fine but I'm sure I have a black eye." Cam says. "I'm sure my stomach is all bruised up." Diego says as he rubs his stomach." "I'm sure I have all of that and a busted lip." We sat down and looked up at the sky. "I didn't know I could do half the things I just did," I said after a few minutes of silence. "Same here. I did a summersault and a front flip." Diego said. "There is something weird going on here, but we should talk about it when Jade gets back from Valencia." Al says we get up and the guys walk me to the door. "alright, I'll let you guys know when I get back, so we can meet up." I say hugging them. They wave as they walk away, and I sneak back in. Noticing the time, I saw that it was late. Walking up to my room, I changed and plugged in my phone before laying down and falling into a deep slumber.
