I never wanted a confrontation that had long been brewing between my father and I to happen in front of Vittoria and her practically perfect family. I knew that our family had never looked as grim as we really were because despite my father's and mine's differences we were never ones to bare our chests to friends.
Most of our fights happened behind the closed office doors within the castle back at home. The guards and maids were never spared from our booming voices, slamming of doors and eventually me hopping into whatever sports car I had recently invested in then speeding away.
