"How did they find us here?" I hissed at Campbell once the help had left us alone.
"I told them," Campbell scratched the back of his head.
I looked at him with parted lips then marched to the nearest couch, grabbed a pillow and hurled it in his direction. He did not even bother to catch it as he just stared at me. "Why would you do that!"
"Your dad was about to announce you were missing and the last thing we needed was a search party. It was the best thing to do," he argued as he picked up the pillow and threw it on the bed.
"You and Alex are the two biggest idiots I have ever seen," I pressed my hands against my forehead as I tried to think on what to do. Surely Pa was here to take me back to Olympia and Campbell's father was here to probably kill him for announcing that he cheated on me.
