Arjuna entered the building to see countless people in the building, they were all different sizes and races. Arjuna spotted a large dwarf that was holding a gigantic crossbow and a slim elf that had slung a short bow onto his back.

When Arjuna entered he attracted lots of attention, as he walked to the counter many people were staring at him the entire trip. When he got to the counter where the receptionist was waiting for him, he could still feel stares on his back. The receptionist who was a slender blond human girl looked at Arjuna and gave a small gasp. She looked at Arjuna like she was looking at a creature that had come from a high up place. It took Arjuna a few tries to get her attention

"miss? miss?"

She quickly snapped back to attention and her face started to blush as she realized what she had just done.

"a-ah yes, I'm so sorry, welcome to the archery guild is there anything you need?"

She managed to pull herself together at the end of her little speech and looked at Arjuna confidently, well almost for some reason she was staring at Arjuna's neck and couldn't meet his eyes.

"mhm I got interested in this place can you explain what it is?"

The girl happily explained

"This is the archery guild, it's a public guild that is made for archers around the continent. We provide training for adventures, lodging and we are the central hub for people who are seeking to master the bow."

Arjuna thought about the word the girl said, he looked at her, or tried to she was still refusing to meet his eyes and asked her

"can I receive training?"

"you? a-ah yes come this way please, wait! no, I mean are you an adventurer?"

Arjuna ignored the mishap the girl had and showed her his adventures card which she looked at briefly.

"o-okay if you could please follow me"

She lead Arjuna to a door that opened to a courtyard in the back with stone walls around it, 20 or so people were practicing here shooting at the targets set up. There were racks with training bows and arrows set up in the back. The receptionist told Arjuna that he could practice here and their training instructor should come soon. She then walked back to the door that they had come from but not without looking at Arjuna one more time.

Arjuna walked to the rack and grabbed a bow, he had only been shooting a bow for a few days but just by holding the bow he already knew that the bow was of the worst quality. Well, whatever his bow had limited durability and he didn't want to waste it. He grabbed it and a quiver of arrows and walked to the nearest target.

He first started off shooting normally, testing out his reload skill. By comparing himself with the rest of the people around him, with the help of Boops the average reload time for a bow was around 8 seconds and that was when they weren't trying. Arjuna when he reloaded normally took about 4-5 seconds to reload, and with the 2 level ups, he got it was now at 3.8 seconds.

Now that he had understood the reload skill he went to the double shot skill. But firest he wanted to try without it activated. He grabbed two arrows with his fingers and brought them to his bow he notched them on the string one above the other. It was difficult to place since Arjuna didn't have a spacer to keep the two arrows apart but he could manage. He pulled with a 3 finger draw and released.

Both of the arrows flew and hit the target, unlike Arjunas first shots they barely pierced the target with one coming dangerously close to falling off the target it was still strong though but from the distance Arjuna was from the target it was understandable.

A voice came from behind Arjuna

"Its because with two arrows it's like cutting the draw weight of your bow in half, or doubling the weight of your arrow. Either one will greatly reduce the speed, power or penetration, and range of your arrows."

Arjuna turned around to see a short gnome talking to him. He had a longbow strapped to his back and he was facing Arjuna proudly. Arjuna politely asked the gnome

"and you are?"

Before the gnome could answer the door leading to the guild building burst open and the receptionist that Arjuna had just talked was running out to face the gnome. She reached him stopped to catch her breath and told the gnome in a still very breathless voice

"master Sninkkaakac you really don't need to do this we can find a replacement soon"

The gnome responded in a sharp proud voice

"it's fine, it's only for an hour, I can do this much don't you think so Emily?"

"a-ah yes master"

Emily then scurried off back the guild building frantically. She turned around one more time to look at them all before she entered the building, her gaze covered everyone in the courtyard starting from the gnome and then onto the rest of the adventures who had started to surround the gnome. Her gaze rested a bit longer on Arjuna but she then shook her head and entered the building.

The gnome wasted no time, he stood in front of the group who had all arrived by now, he lifted his head up and walked up and down the line of adventures.

"Alright I'm your instructor for the next hour, during this time I will teach you basic shooting and archer tactics when fighting, understood?"

The adventures weren't trained in anything yet somehow they all knew what to say like it was the only right way to reply

They all replied loudly

"YES SIR"

The gnome nodded to himself

"good alright I want everyone to line up again facing a target, ill go to each one of you and teach you everything you need to know."

The adventures all did as told and the gnome went down the line. Arjuna was at the very end of the line but he could hear the gnome from his position

"NO THE SHARP POINT FACES AWAY FROM THE STRING OTHERWISE YOU'LL CUT THE... ARGH ILL COME TO YOU LATER NEXT!"

A few moments later

"NO YOU DON'T PLACE YOUR HAND WHERE THE STRING SNAPS BACK UNLESS YOU WANT A BRUISED ARM!!!!"

And even later

"GOD HOW DID YOU BREAK A BOW THAT QUICKLY, DON'T FIRE A BOW WHEN THIERS NO ARROW IN IT, YOU ******* DONKEY!!!!"

Finally, he broke

"OKAY, YOU KNOW WHAT, YOU YOU YOU AND YOU GET OUT!!!"

He flipped a rack of bows in rage and to Arjuna, to be honest, he thought seeing a gnome flipping the rack that was two times bigger then he was comical and scary at the same time.

The rest of the adventures weren't as stupid as the people kicked out and the gnome slowly but steadily went down the line. Finally, he reached Arjuna who was already shooting arrows in border.

The gnome looked at Arjuna shooting for a bit before he started telling him what to fix.

"hmm your stance is a bit wrong, give your knees an ever-so-slight bend. You want to make sure that they're not locked because that'll rob you of some of your stability and control and keep you hips straight I can see them move from time to time. keep your back straight and relax your shoulders. Also, relax your bow hand your holding it in a death grip and most importantly find your anchor point."

Arjuna listened carefully for most of the correction but the anchor point confused him

"can you explain the anchor point?"

"ah yes, its a spot on your face that your bowstring hand---or the string itself---should touch when you're at full draw. If you don't have that you can't shoot consistently honestly its a miracle that you're able to shoot just fine without one."

The gnome looked satisfied as he watched Arjuna shoot again, in fact, he even praised Arjuna.

"well done, you fixed almost everything except that your waist moved a bit when you shot but still you hit the bullseye so I guess it's fine."

The gnome was about to leave and watch the rest of the archers again but he remembered something and took a double take to Arjuna again

"Hey, are you the one who shot with two arrows?"

Arjuna nodded

"ah yes, would you like me to show it to you again?"

"yes"

Arjuna again nocked two arrows onto his string this time he stretched the string to its limit and included everything that he was just taught in the past minute into the shot. He even found his anchor point the edge of his jaw. He activated the skill this time and the arrows both flew straight into the target completely penetrating the targets even from 30 meters away.

The gnome looked at Arjuna and said words that changed Arjuna's schedule for the next few months

"come back here when you have the chance i want to teach you something"
