Perseus walked deeper into the underground tunnel. Mr and Mr's Stake dashed over to their daughter hugging and crying loudly. Perseus and Jack left them to reunite and walked down.

It would seem the room that Perseus had just arrived in was a simple guard room because right after it, a view came into Perseus's eyes that made him slightly sick.

The underground room opened up to a huge chamber, lit up with dim lanterns, rusty cages with human beings were lined up in rows.

The human beings varied from kids to full-grown adults man or woman, Perseus even saw some demi-humans in the cages.

The people in the cages huddled away in fear from the sound of Perseus's footsteps, anytime they heard those sounds, it meant that one of them was going to be taken away and subjected to an unknown fate.

Perseus's breathing started to increase, rage started to flood into his head as he looked at the horrible conditions the people were subjected to. He shouldn't have ended the slave merchants' life so easily.

He pulled out his sword and giving a nod to Jack the two started to cut off the locks setting the slaves free.

Slowly slave after slave started to crawl out of their cages in bewilderment and confusion, they squinted their eyes from the bright light that came from Perseus's sword.

Jack also felt a deep rage as he freed the slaves from their cages. He knew that many of the people he knew were kidnapped by people and subjected to places like these to be sold like cattle.

The slaves unused to being out of their cages looked around in wonder and fear. But a kind hand helped them crawl out. A young kid wearing rouge clothes and a blond-haired swordsman who seemed to emanate light.

The Starkes after reuniting with their daughter also came in to help Perseus and Jack help free the rest of the slaves.

In total there were 3 chambers full of slaves, each chamber had around 50 slaves so in total this one slave merchant had 150 slaves.

After a few hours, Perseus stood in the main hall of the mansion, as the 150 slaves stood in front of him eating and drinking the food that had been provided to them.

Perseus paced back and forth in front of them finally stopping to face all of them

"do any of you have any family or people that you can return to?"

They all simultaneously shook their heads sideways.

Perseus let out a loud sigh and continued pacing back and forth thinking. Finally, he turned to the slaves and spread out his arms.

"Alright, you guys are free, you can go and be free and do whatever!"

Perseus stood in that pose, hoping something would happen. But the slaves just stood there looking at each other uncertainly.

Finally, the huge man holding two axes in his hands walked over to Perseus.

"sir swordsman," he said in a humble meekly voice. "we are truly eternally grateful for freeing us, but we truly have nowhere to go, we have no home, no family, not even the clothes on our back truly belong to us"

Perseus let out a loud sigh and ran his hands down his face, He looked at the group of slaves one more time. It was a large group, they could barely even fit in the main hall of the mansion that the slave merchant had.

There were people of all types, adults children, demi-humans, some were bodies full of scars others had innocent expressions on their faces.

Perseus sighed and stood up straight.

"Alright listen up!" He said pacing back and forth in front of the crowd of freed slaves. "I can help you, at least for now, I can provide you with accommodations and food, but of course you will need to work for it. If you truly have no place to return to, then you can stay for a bit, until you get on your feet"

The slaves all looked at the blond-haired boy standing in front of them with eyes filled with hope.

All of them, demi-humans, adults, and kids knew what was going to happen to them if they went out alone. Some would have to live in the slums in circumstances that wouldn't be much better than the ones they were in. Others would have just been swooped up easily by more slave merchants and their goons subjected back to the terrible life they had, with their last fire of hope extinguished.

Jack watched as Perseus started to guide the crowd of slaves, with a begrudging expression.

A smile passed through Jack's face. His master was saving people again, just like how he did with himself, his friends, and the current guild members. It would seem that his master didn't like to admit it. But Jack knew that his master truly cared for each and every one of them.

Jack turned to where Mr. and Mrs. Starke were watching from the back with hands protectively on their precious daughter's back.

They walked over to where Jack was, and together they watched as Perseus continued to organize the slaves as he got them ready to head to the mansion.

Mr. Starke said in a low voice as they watched Perseus hurriedly call for Jason to bring the guild wagon to them so that they could start transporting the slaves to the guild house.

"I wanted to thank him personally, but it seems that he's a bit too busy for that"

Jack let out a small chuckle

"he doesn't need your thanks, but perhaps some other type of help would suffice"

Mr. Starke nodded quietly to himself and then asked in a low voice

"Who are you?"

Jack looked up the ceiling and thought for a bit before answering.

"I'm am a member of the silver wings guild.... yes, that is who I truly am"

Mr. Starke looked at Jack with raised eyebrows

"are you not Jack? the person who has taken authority in the rippers gang in a storm, quickly taking over almost half of the territory and power of the fallen ripper executive?"

Jack let out a small smile and shook his head.

"I'm a silver wings member before any of that"

"And also," Jack said looking at the couple and their daughter with a cold glint in his eye "you both owe us a debt"

Mr's Starke walked over to Jack, with their daughter in tow.

"yes," she said, "We truly owe you an eternal debt for helping us save our daughter, what would you have us do?"

Jack grinned to himself, he remembered exactly what his master had muttered to himself many times thinking about the problems he had to fix.

Jack had heard them so many times, and this was a moment that he could fix one of the problems that Perseus was always thinking about.

"well," Jack said "we have a few guild members who need a bit of guidance in fighting"

Both of the Starkes raised their eyebrows at the young boy dressed in rouge clothes.

This boy, his intelligence and matured seemed far beyond his age. He spoke his words with some elegance and charisma.

The Starkes looked at each other, and then back at Jack. Mr's Starke smiled and raised out her hand. Her thin hand was full of calluses and scars from her many years of fighting.

She put it on Jack's head and ruffled his hair gently as she said with a smile

"If these guild members are anything like you, perhaps we can guide some of the people in your guild, and teach them a bit about fighting"

Jack smiled and proceeded to give them instructions about where the guild house would be.

And after they exchanged the formalities and such, the Starkes gave a final nod to Jack and then to Perseus who finally finished getting all of the information of the group of slaves.

Perseus let out a confused wave but shrugged his shoulders as Jack gave him a reassuring nod and smile.

Jason was hurriedly driving the wagon to where Perseus was waiting with all of the new residents.

Jason's eyes zoomed to where he got the extra charisma points.

"hah? you can get charisma stat points like that?"

Boops reassured Jason

"it's a subordination system thing, separate from the game system, kinda like the point value but better for your status"

Jason nodded and continued as Perseus looked in confusion at the notifications he also got
