Hey guys a warning, I'm temporarily stopping posting chapters for Sub-Zero on MCU, the reason is that it's not getting many interested readers so I'll let the story cook a little to continue.

Don't judge me, if the story gets 100 power stones until Sunday I'll continue but if I don't I'll take a break.

American secret base.

"Go go go!" A captain shouted as he positioned his soldiers who positioned themselves in front of a coated steel door and raised their weapons, the alarm and red lights flashing constantly.

Beads of sweat fell from their faces as they took a deep breath as they waited for their enemy, with a shrill thud the steel door separating them from the monster that had invaded their base began to freeze.

(Imagine the scene of Space Marines invading the ship on Astartes.)

"Get ready men, remember the training and don't hesitate!" A sergeant yelled as he unlocked his gun and pointed at the door, all the soldiers roared together and will prepare for what was to come.

The door slowly froze, every second that passed made the soldiers' nerves get more and more tense, little by little the door froze and everyone will fully prepare for what was to come when it finished freezing.

"God give me strength to protect my homeland!" Some soldiers prayed softly and gave determined glances towards the door, "CRASH!" With an explosion the steel door shattered into thousands of pieces.

" FIRE!!!" At the same time all the soldiers fired together, a barrage of orange bullets headed towards the door and they kept firing non-stop, "AHHH!" the soldiers screamed as they changed the ammunition clip and fired again.

Swoosh!

A blue impulse came out of the door and past the bullets until it reached the first defensive line, "Ting, Ting!" the bullets that had been in the air slowly fell to the ground and crumbled into dust, "Brother?" A soldier touched his companion who was hit by the impulse but he also crumbled to dust.

From the fog that was at the door an ice sword revealed itself and soon after William walked through the door, just his cold presence was enough to make all the soldiers freeze in fear momentarily.

"Keep shooting!" One of the soldiers left the frozen state and returned to shoot causing the others to shoot too, William looked at them as if they were ants and before the bullets could reach him he took a step forward.

With a sonic boost and a trail of ice that stayed where he passed, William practically disappeared and reappeared in front of the closest soldier who widened his eyes as his head separated from his body and flew away.

From that moment screams and gunfire sounded for a few minutes before everything went silent and Sub-zero slowly passed through the hallway, he looked at the various paths in front of him and with a wave of his hand several ice clones formed in front of him.

"Find the Cube!" The clones nodded and each went to a different corridor, William stood for a moment before turning his head to look at the security camera in the corridor and throwing a shuriken at it destroying it.

In the security room.

"We lost the camera in sector 6!" An intelligence soldier yelled and several shouts and reports came from different places, "Alpha team has found an enemy clone and is engaging in combat!"

Several gunfire noises came from the radio before screams and everything went silent, similar scenes were taking place in various observers, "My god." The director of this base said when he saw the soldiers he lived with being quickly killed as if they were vegetables.

He took one last look at the monitors showing William's clones advancing around the base before looking at a camera that showed a vault with the Tesseract and several scientists running around trying to prepare him for his extraction from the base.

"At that speed our defenses have fallen before we can remove the cube from the base." The headmaster contemplated lightly and made a decision, he walked to a weapons locker that was in the room and grabbed a rifle and some ammo clips.

He would try to buy time even if it cost his life, the other soldiers at the base saw what their headmaster was doing and hesitated for a moment, "Well I was planning to come back to see my daughter born next month but I don't think that will be possible ." One of the soldiers said and took a rifle from the closet too.

Everyone in the room seeing the action of their director and partner also stood up and took up arms, "You don't need to do this." The headmaster felt touched by the actions of his soldiers and let it slip away.

"Mister Director, we can't let that monster take the cube, we have a duty to protect our country and that's what we'll do!" One of the soldiers responded with a forced smile on his face, soon similar shouts came from everyone in the room.

The director felt a heat seep into his heart and besides a smile he said nothing more, soon the entire armed group left the room and ran and positioned themselves in corridors that lead to the laboratory.

Soon a clone of William with a spear appeared in the passage and they opened fire, the clone didn't bother to dodge and advanced towards the soldiers with his spear.

TRÁ!TRÁ!TRÁ!TRÁ!

Several holes opened in his body as he advanced but he got in front of the first soldier and stabbed him, blood and guts splattered as the spear pierced the soldier's body and knocked him off the ground.

" Die!" The soldiers knowing their companion was dead continued to fire but the clone used the soldier's body as a shield and moved forward slashing his spear at the neck of another soldier who widened his eyes before his neck was cut and he fell to the ground as he squirmed.

The headmaster reloaded his weapon and continued to fire at the clone when he killed another of his men, his gun barrel was turning red but the bullets were leaving only superficial wounds in the clone's body as he swung his spear at another soldier.

Slash!

The spear fell and split the soldier's body splitting him in half leaving only the headmaster behind who drew his pistol and fired at the clone's head, "DIE!" When the ammo clip ran out, the headmaster pulled a knife from his waistband and slashed the clone in the chest.

"COFF!" The headmaster spat blood and looked at his chest as he shivered, there the ice spear was shown to have pierced his body, with a great effort the headmaster raised his eyes and looked into the cold, still face of the clone.

"I'm sorry Marlene, I won't be able to come home." The Headmaster muttered with his last efforts his wife's name and he could feel his eyes wanting to close and the embrace of death enveloping him.

The clone was about to take the spear from the headmaster's body but stopped when he saw a smile on the headmaster's face and his hand opened with several falling grenade pins.

BOOM!

A small earthquake happened startling the scientists who were moving towards the exit and this only made them run faster, exiting through a secret entrance the desert revealed itself to their eyes and they saw a helicopter coming down to save them.

"We made it, we are saved!" One of the researchers yelled and several cheers came from the group but it didn't last long, "Woosh!" With a whoosh of wind a giant ice dart passed over their heads and hit the aircraft.

BOOM!

The researchers froze as they saw their hope just explode in front of them and felt a cold air behind them, they turned slowly only to see Sub-zero standing behind them with their cold, deadly eyes.
