Chapter 6 – Lirest and Boaren

Griffin didn't know what to do in this condition, especially with a quiz that suddenly popped up asking him to choose between Lirest and Boaren.

In that state, Griffin could see there were two sides. The first party wears clothes that are dominated by white with gold stripes. Similar to the one Isabella wore. Then it was clear they were from Lirest.

While the other party wore black clothes with red stripes. Most likely, they were from Boaren.

KLANG

Griffin sees Isabella fighting the witches from Boaren.

"Ice Control"

The sword that Isabella was holding suddenly gave off a chill. She used it and swiftly slashed at the enemies in front of her.

"Very strong." Griffin thought as he saw Isabella's agile movements.

Even though her powers are being sealed, Isabella is very helpful in this war.

Griffin readied his sword. If he had to choose, then right now he would definitely help Lirest, which Isabella lived in.

Griffin dashed forward and slashed at one of the witches from Boaren.

[You have chosen Lirest as an ally.]

Klang

Griffin managed to withstand an attack that was aimed at him. One of the Boaren troops tried to attack from behind.

[You have activated the skill "Flame Sword" Level 1]

Griffin's sword was instantly filled with smoldering flames.

Slash

In one fell swoop, Griffin managed to slash the enemy in front of him.

BAM

Griffin looked in the direction of the voice. And what he saw, a creature that had two legs and two hands like a human, but with a head like a wild boar. It was over two meters tall, making its presence very conspicuous. His body was huge and muscular, and was deep red in color, making his existence extremely intimidating.

"What the hell is that?"

GRAAAAH!!!

His roar was heard throughout the place. His ferocious face frightened everyone.

The creature raised the large log in its hand and started hitting the Lirest people around it.

Bam Bam Bam

One hit could kill the people there in an instant.

Isabella, who saw the creature's arrival, immediately stepped forward.

"Ice Control"

Isabella produces large ice on the creature's body. Making his left hand holding the wood stick to the ground.

Srak

Isabella slashed at the monster's stomach. But the resulting wound is not deep.

Crack

In an instant the ice wrapped around the monster's body broke. He swung the big stick at Isabella.

BRAK

The wood just hit the ground. Isabella managed to dodge just in time. Otherwise, her bones would have been crushed by the attack.

The monster launched another attack. He raised his right hand high, then punched at Isabella

BUM

Once again, Isabella managed to dodge it. The attack just now left a huge hole in the ground, showing how powerful this creature was. Fortunately his movements are very slow because of his large body.

Isabella dashed forward and jumped on top of the creature.

She managed to stab her sword into the monster's shoulder. Then immediately take out the skill.

"Ice Control"

Isabella's leg was suddenly wrapped in a sharp ice at the tip of her foot. With a nimble movement, Isabella kicked right at the head of the boar.

Blood dripped from the back of his head. But as if it didn't feel any pain, the monster was still swinging the wood at the woman.

Isabella who was still in midair immediately made a layer of ice in the shape of a shield, big enough to protect herself.

Brak

Isabella fell a few feet back. The attack just now was powerful, but luckily the girl had excellent reflexes.

"How can I beat him?" Isabella tried to think of a strategy.

Actually she wanted to kill this monster by crushing its head. But even though its skull had just been shattered, this monster was still able to move, leaving Isabella at a loss for what to do.

The monster walked towards Isabella, preparing to attack again.

Strat

From behind, Griffin using a flame sword managed to slash at the monster's back. The attack from his sword that was amplified by the skill effect was formidable. The monster received a fairly deep wound, though not fatal. And like before, he seemed to feel no pain.

The monster punched at Griffin.

Slas

Griffin with quick reflexes immediately dodged and gave another slash to the large hand that was aimed at him.

Graa!

It seemed that this time he felt pain from this wound. His big feet became unbalanced from the pain.

For some reason, Griffin and Isabella saw a little girl behind the monster, while the heavy creature continued to retreat backwards.

"WATCH OUT!" Isabella ran to save the child, but she was too far away, she wouldn't be able to save her.

The girl was crying, not realizing that a huge creature was about to destroy her.

That's when Griffin ran forward and carried the child away from there. He moved the girl near a large tree that had a gap. At least fit for the girl to hide.

Seeing this, Isabella breathed a sigh of relief.

Griffin ran towards Isabella.

"Hey, what's the level of this monster?" Griffin asked while wary of the monster in front of him.

"I also do not know. Animals always have name and level information above their heads. But he has neither. So it's likely that he's a mage who gave up his soul to gain power."

"What?" Griffin couldn't believe it. He didn't think there were people who could do something this crazy for the sake of power.

"No need to be surprised, many things are not strange and unexpected in the magic world, and you are one of them."

"Come on, now is not the time to comment on my condition. He's too strong for us to face."

Isabella thought for a few seconds.

"Maybe he's not that strong. His strength and defense were strong, but he wasn't that fast and couldn't use magic. Maybe we can both deal with it."

Boom

Griffin didn't know what to say when he saw something coming toward them. Another creature with the same appearance as this wild boar arrived, except that he was carrying an iron ax in hand.

"Okay, now can we face them?"

"However, we still have to block them. The other Lirest mages could be in danger if they had to face these two."

Now they were just the four of them in the wide courtyard. Neither Lirest nor Boaren dared to approach, for it was certain that a battle would occur which was beyond their capabilities.

Isabella and Griffin advanced together, as did the two wizards in the form of monsters. Each of their footsteps made a huge pounding sound. Their fight immediately became the center of attention of all the wizards fighting there.

Klang

Isabella charged at the monster carrying the axe, but the attack was blocked by the much thicker iron axe.

"Ice Control"

Isabella created 5 small ice bullet that launched straight ahead. The movement of the ice that was shot was so fast that the monster didn't have time to react.

Srat srat srat srat srat

The icicles stuck to its body, but the monster didn't seem to receive any attack. He dashed forward while swinging his sword while the ice just now was still stuck to his body.

Klang

Isabella was knocked back by the attack. Luckily she managed to hold it in time using her sword.

"This is very difficult." Isabella mumbled.

Meanwhile, Griffin fought a monster carrying a large log.

Bam Bam Bam

Attack after attack continued to be launched at Griffin by the monster. Fortunately, the boy had extraordinary reflexes, causing the series of attacks just now to only hit the ground.

Griffin used a flame sword skill and slashed again at the body of the monster in front of him.

Graaa!

The monster screamed again in pain, but it didn't get any worse. All these injuries did not reduce his strength at all, in fact they made him even more aggressive.

Blam

Griffin dodged the attack just now again.

"Tch, this won't end."

The wounds on the monster's body closed slowly. It seems that they can also regenerate quickly. This renders a series of small wounds ineffective.

"How are we supposed to deal with a creature like this?"

In an instant, Griffin thought of something. Something that might defeat these two monsters and overcome the crisis they were in.

"Isabella! I have an idea! Gather these two monsters in one place!" Griffin shouted so Isabella who was in the distance could hear him.

"You have a plan?!"

"Of course! Just trust me!"

Isabella who had no other choice could only follow as Griffin said. She seemed to have to trust this man, again, as she did this afternoon against the ferocious hound.
