"You both are idiots." Turns out after we screamed our lungs out from Justin's side door opening he kicked whoever opened it after which we both proceeded to check who was there and when we saw it was Nathan... he was on the floor after getting kicked in the side " So that is why you two screamed.. ridiculous." I roll my eyes while Justin just smiles at Nathan anxiously "It was a scary situation to be in." Nathan scoffs " What were you doing in the countryside anyway..." I scratch my head looking the other way nervously while whistling. Justin, on the other hand, answered " She said she was visiting someone's moth-" Freaked out I run along side where Justin was to cover his mouth giving him the look indicating to just stop talking at which he picks up on" It's none of your business of what I was doing." I speak confidently even though my heart was pounding tremendously in my chest. Nathan scowls at me walking up closer till he was in my face" So I help you, get kicked in the process for helping you, and you don't tell me where you went." I try to think of something to cover our story but nothing pops in my head at the moment while being cornered "Its none of your business, but we do thank you for you generosity. " Justin stands still looking up at Nathan who just glowers at us both "I really hate the country side.." he walks off without another word. Later that night I call Aiko as I do most nights to check in on things at home and what not "HANA I HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU OH MY GOSH" I smile when I see aiko excited.. "I AM PREGNANT" but this wasn't the news I was expecting to hear It felt like my heart just shattered moreover just devastated " I'm so happy for you aiko. How is my family?" Aiko looks at me concerned it seemed " Are you okay you seem kind of lifeless..you were happy a second ago.." I knew even if I forcefully try to pretend everything was all right It would be just to obvious " Second thought work here has been really tiring so I think I'm going to go to bed..goodnight" Without a second word I shut my laptop, It shouldn't have been a surprise to me since they were engaged but part of me actually was surprised..for what?? The next day I was in the office as usual minding my own business " Hey are you okay I'm getting bad energy from where you are not to mention you've got bags under your eyes..were you working so much that you started to cry..."I shake my head putting papers together " I don't know what my problem is but here is the notes I managed to get from his mother" Elodie stares at me with her eyes widen " HIS MOTHER?! " She seemed shocked I mean she wouldn't even grab the papers I gathered for her " What's the problem?" Mariette walked in " We've tried to get in contact from his mother for awhile but she never answered back so how did you get her to answer?" Mariette grabs the papers, going through all my notes I've got from Jules " We'll be sure not to add to much detail with his sister..we respect him" I nod " I know someone she knows nothing more. But there's something big that we are missing..I could be wrong but it just doesn't make sense." Elodie and Mariette share looks before looking at me " what do you mean? " I nervously scratch my head looking away from them " W-well shouldn't Nathan be proud or happy to have done something so sweet for his sister..? " I shake my head chuckling nervously " Nevermind what I said! " Elodie chuckles " I see why you are mentioning that! He is always so cold or moody when he has accomplished his sister's dream. " I nod looking at both Elodie and Mariette. Leaving the office was exhausting, it meant that I had to find out more about Nathan but it also meant I could take a break since Nathan is nowhere to be seen in my sight for now. It's crazy how much I've missed everything that's happened since I last left Paris " Hello how much are these flowers?" Tons of beautiful memories to make here! But as I walk past a shop my heart drops " womb" is the name of the shop..Aiko is having Chikashi's baby " Would you like to buy some clothes? " The kind lady asked but I just shook my head and left. " Nathan please think about returning home!" Turning the corner I run into a family argument "Oh my...I'm sorry." As I begin to make my leave someone pulls my arm " Oh HANA please make him change his mind about returning home! He hasn't been home since I last told you!" Nathan's eyes widen " What do you mean the last you told her?! How do you know her?!" Jules frowns " She told me she knew Aiko so I told her everything.." Nathan rubs his temples irritated " She's a reporter! She doesn't actually know Aiko!" Jules looks at me confused and I feel overwelmed " I can explain everything! I know Aiko I really do! She is marrying my..childhood friend and is now pregnant. No, I am not a reporter I prefer journalist but I never intended on telling the world detail on your sister's death! That I promise!" Nathan looks down at me glaring it was almost as if he had been building his trust with me little at a time and then broke just as he looks at me with those piercing brown eyes " I'm sorry..I promise you won't see me anywhere near Paris or France again. It was a pleasure to be here." Jules tries to grab my arm but I run off before she could get a hold of me. Who knew how intense it'd be in this situation, I mean I never expected to get caught until I left France but now I should be thinking about home...I don't want to go back maybe I should just go to another state. I look at my contact for anyone out of state and with luck I find one from California " Just my luck"
