Chapter - 3: Marin Kitagawa & System

" Murphy!" Right upon opening the door, an extremely beautiful young girl ran Into Murphy's embrace.
The young girl possesses is a slim and above-average height girl with dark pink colored contacts in her eyes and light skin. Her build is on the thinner side with a small waistline. She has silky elegant blonde hair, tipped with pinkish-red or citrus orange, reaching down around her pelvic region. Her bangs cover a majority of her forehead and eyebrows, reaching around the start of her eyelashes. Two locks of hair also flow over her shoulders and end around her chest region. Her hairstyle is a long straight style, that is 'free'. In terms of gradient, her hair goes from pure blonde at the top and progressively becomes pinkish-red or citrus-orange towards the bottom. She does wear ear piercings which include one ring piercing, three pearl piercings, and an industrial piercing on the left ear and two ring piercings, and one pearl piercing on the right ear.
She wears a white button shirt with one chest pocket on her left, a navy blue tie, a plaid skirt, black socks, and brown shoes. She also wears a stretchy black choker, two bracelets on her left arm, and a ring on both her right pinky and left index finger.
This is: Marin Kitagawa. A fellow otaku who is a famous Japanese cosplayer and VTuber. One of the very few people Murphy can a call: Friend. Also one of the irregular people that took a liking to him, a very strong liking to him.
" There are fantasy Monsters outside! One just broke Into my room!" She cried out, while hugging herself with Murphy's unusually strong pale arms.
" You can just stay In here, then." Patting her back, Murphy said softly.
" Thanks!"
" No problem." Hugging her shaking scared body, Murphy smiled, smelling her wet hair.
" Did you just come out of the shower? And then, fall into too?" He asked, feeling her wet clothes and hair.
"...No?"
" Just wear something of mine." He said wearing his friendly and pleasant warm smile.
" I can?"
" Of course."
Slowly getting out of Murphy's warm and homey embrace, she walked Into his walk-In closest, which is bigger than some rooms.
"...Can you stay by me?" With fear In her eyes, she asked the waiting Murphy. Less a monster jumps Into the window. However, at least this time she has her Murphy with her. Her strong and handsome Murphy~
" Mhm. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." Nodding, he waited by the restroom, as she went In.
A few minutes later, she come back out, decked out In black a Death Note hoodie and pants, with socks to match.
" I love your closet! It's like Otaku Narnia."
" Feeling better?" He asked seeing her sparkle come back to life In her eyes.
" Mhm, a little. Your clothes make me feel so warm~"
" Why is that?"
" Because they smell like you~" She said, blank voided out pure loving eyes.
" I hope I smell good then." Why did she pick his dirty clothes? Is It because, they smell more like him?
" Mhm~ You smell amazing~" She said cheerfully, inhaling and exhaling his scent coming from his clothes.
" That's good... I guess?" Not knowing what to say, Murphy said as he sat down on his black gaming chair.
" Mhm~" Nodding, she went to his bed and sighed out In bliss, as she slowly fell asleep, wrapped Into his clothes with a pink shade to her cheeks.
' Must be tired.' Getting sleepy himself, Murphy got up and laid down next to her on his king-sized bed. As he laid down, Marin changed positions, laying right next to him, with her legs locking his leg, and her head on his chest.
*Inhale...Exhale...*
Breathing In and out softly, Marin smiled In ecstasy digging Into his arms around her, and his strong chest.
' Glad, she's feeling better.' Wanting to fall asleep like her, he closed his eyes...
...Until, he opened his eyes, hearing a bell ring throughout his head.
Following that sound, is a white hologram screen with golden letters, appearing In front of him.

' Loot Box System?' Why of all the systems in the vast Omniverse, did he get attached to this one? Wasn't Fate/Grand Order, Genshin Impact, Black Ops 3, and Overwatch, enough?
In video games, a "loot box" (often rebranded by publishers as " surprise mechanics" or other euphemisms) is a container with randomized possibly rare loot. While some are actual boxes within the game world that the Player Character picks up, they tend to be a bit more disconnected ― they're often acquired from the game's menu system outside of gameplay (a process that can include Microtransactions), and their "contents" aren't limited to physical items but can include insubstantials like new classes or skins.
' Those supply drops are coming back to haunt me, aren't they?' Remembering his overly good luck, getting everything when they were first released, he cursed, already knowing he might have the legendary E-Rank Luck now.
Because one should know, when everything is coming to you easy, then in a few moments, the world might throw a curveball and fuck with your life.
Hell, he should know this, look what his name is...
' System, what are your functions?' Knowing there is no way out, Murphy sighed out.

' Loot Box Hall.' Already understanding how the other functions work, Murphy looked at the last function.
*Shoosh!*
Flashing, the screen altered to a medieval throne room, colored In gold and white.
Resting before the throne is a rainbow-colored box, shining with life.

Yes-No ]]
' Question marks are usually a good thing...' He hummed, then smiled,' Yes.'

'...Huh... I guess my luck hasn't turned to shit yet.' Murphy smiled seeing his rewards, especially his first one.
' Glock 19.'
...
' So I have to say It out loud?' At least he made an effort to try to see If It works.
" Glock 19."
As the words left Murphy's mouth, black energy appeared out of nowhere, that slowly made Itself Into a black simple Glock 19.
' It feels like the real thing... Nice.'
However, as the thing was created Into the world, he felt an inferior amount of unknown energy leave him.
' Must be Mana.' It had to be.
Wanting It to disappear, the handgun faded away back Into his body.
' Good.'
Getting off his bed skillfully as If he did It a hundred times, he sat on his chair and turned on his still-working PC.
'Let's research and see what else amazing stuff I can make.' Saying this, his eyes dulled out, as his mind took off from where It was and altered Itself to something far more sinister.
