the Annestic Continent (Part 2)

The carnival was part of their show in the Annestic Continent.

Lie Wei Ying was the head of the demon resistance, surprisingly, and his core team was in this tent.

Yu Yan was able to change her body into different forms, and her taste was changeable as well. In fact, Lie Wei Ying had a feeling she had a system, but it was not something he'd ask her easily.

Alas, he felt somewhat peeved by the demons in front of him. All of them couldn't resist her spell, and he walked up to the next demon and cut its head off too.

Hui Gang was the supervisor of Lie Wei Ying and followed suit. He cut off the head of demons marveling at Lie Wei Ying's pace. Astoundingly, he always seemed to be getting stronger, and he would never dare fight him.

The next demon was a contemptable looking fellow with his saber drawn. He was one of the few who realized something odd about the countless dreamy women around him.

"…This… this isn't real…. This isn't real!"

He looked so afraid and Lie Wei Ying cut him in half to ease his worry.

After being in training for a year, in this killer circus, he didn't have a problem cutting other monsters in half. In fact, they'd probably do the same to him, so he cut another one in half and moved on.

It took roughly five minutes for the toxins to wear off, and all two hundred demons were dead. Their heads rolled on the floor, and Lie Wei Ying put away his swords.

[Ding! The Overpowered system has acquired 200 points]

[You've quelled the beast that is the overpowered system! New abilities gained <Superhero mode>, and <Alternate Reality mode> Two new subsystems are being installed…]

Lie Wei Ying had a slew of moves that he often didn't use. One of his favorite was <crafting>. For instance, if he picked up two bodies, and threw them into the system, it would make a better dead body.

However, the main thing going on right now was that the bodies were being cleaned up.

Demons in the Endless Wasteland were somewhat like demons from the Desert of Death. When he was a child, he spent a lot of time in the desert of death, and that was before he started hiding his powers a year ago.

Truthfully, he was the strongest man on the planet probably, but because of the systems volatility he rarely pushed the envelope.

He was able to use <demonic possession> which would let the childlike spirit of the overpowered system descend into his body. The overpowered system was originally a monogod, the strongest cultivation of any being. After he was sealed inside Lie Wei Ying as a system, he had access to all of its power.

Unfortunately, he was so afraid of destroying his world that he never pushed his power to its maximum potential.

It was almost like he was a walking warhead, and all his loved ones would die if he detonated. Still and all, it felt good having these abilities. He had no idea what <superhero mode> would be like, but that was just one of the many cool things about this system.

Regardless, he walked up to Yu Yan and threw her the dress. She let the grass fade off her body, revealing her pearl skin, as she pulled up her straps.

"…You…you're very cute today, Lie Wei Ying." Yu Yan joked and fixed herself. "But… you need to stop wasting your time here! You could be saving the world, and well… I'm not worth you—"

"Sorry, I'm not leaving until we've done that," Lie Wei Ying answered her honestly, "I'm finally seventeen years old, and you are too! What exactly are you waiting for Yu Yan… We should be in the backroom right now!"

Yu Yan smiled at Lie Wei Ying. "I know you want to play that game with me, but we can't play today. How about next time, I'll let you verse me at checkers. If you really are as good as you say, I'll let you take me out on a date." She imagined he was joking about being a legendary game master, but it was nice humoring him by prolonging his inevitable defeat.

The bodies were cleaned up in a few hours.

He took a few items into his pocket and put all of them into his system inventory.

Now, however, he wanted to check how the system was doing. This system was very temperamental, and if he didn't feed it souls it would end up turning on him.

Luckily, though, it was a very funny sort of demon spirit, and kind of reminded him of an arrogant child.

"Hmph, you're back, Lie Wei Ying…. How did it feel using me your highness?"

Lie Wei Ying laughed and looked at the hundreds of subsystems standing behind the overpowered system. Yet, only one of them was truly extraordinary, and that was his brother.

"You… you're growing taller," Lie Wei Ying replied ignoring the point, "It's like your more like me every day, and you don't even realize it."

The system, he named him O.P. for short, was seriously the mirror image of Lie Wei Ying. He had the same curly hair, and a real body inside of him to call his own. However, he was just here to hang out with him.

"Ah… well, I don't really have a choice, Lie Wei Ying… but you did a good job today. Soon, you're going to destroy the entire universe because of me... So, you should release me and stop cooping me up in here!"

Lie Wei Ying laughed and plopped down into his consciousness. "Ah, but if I did that, I couldn't hear your pleasant voice, and your quirky jokes. It would be the end of us if I lost you."

O.P. harrumphed and turned away before his subsystem brother walked up to Lie Wei Ying and bowed down. "He's just not aware of how great you are, Supreme one!"

Lie Wei Ying smiled at S.O.P. and then walked over towards O.P. before he noticed the system started shaking.

"Wha…what are you doing Lie Wei Ying! No…. you need to stop embarrassing me like this!"

"Say Ah," Lie Wei Ying replied with a giggle. He took a few of the souls that he made today and graciously fed them to O.P. After a few minutes, the blood shot eyes had turned a clear blue, and he was back to the O.P. he remembered.

"Ah… was I mean to you master," O.P. answered displaying his change of heart. Lie Wei Ying nodded his head and released the shackles.

"Yes, but you've got a few new brothers when you were under the—"

"Lie Wei Ying! Stop daydreaming and go help Hui Gang… If he wasn't so scared of you, he wouldn't let you do whatever you want," Lui Hua said and pushed Lie Wei Ying's shoulder. He always seemed to be in his own world, and it was somewhat annoying for her. She was the boy's supposed boss in this undercover circus.

Lie Wei Ying nodded his head, and then proceeded outside to the five giants. A gigantic herd of body guards were present around the tent of the traveling circus. He once again drew his saber.
