The Confusion

It was a very very normal morning for Laya's family . Her mom woke up at 5.00 as usual . She took a quick shower and entered the kitchen chanting her regular Shlokas. The house was immersed in the aromatic smell of Coffee...the morning newspaper was at the doorstep .Laya's dad just came back with fresh flowers for his daily Pooja.

Laya's Grand mom was sitting in the front room and complaining about how Laya and Maya were getting lazier day by day . They never get up early in the morning . She went to wake them up . Maya was already up . Lights in the bathroom were on so grand mom thought that Laya was in the Bathroom ...so did Maya. They had no idea that Laya was actually in the Bus stand of a faraway town

Laya was still waiting where Praveen had asked her to wait . Her hands were all sweaty. She had called him innumerable times in the past 1 hour . She could not fathom why he was not responding . The same guy who used to call her every hour and pick up her call in one ring has stopped answering from the moment she ran away from home .

Laya started worrying about 101 things. Was Praveen sick ...did he meet with an accident after he ran away from home? Was he caught when he was trying to run away from home .....she had no clue. She did not know who else to call to check on him . People at the bus stop were giving her weird looks since she has been waiting there for a long time now .

Praveen stared at his phone ...27 missed calls from Laya...he felt happy and contended. He felt proud and successful
