While she was unconscious

The light from the sky fell on everyone lighting the environment but their mood was as grim as the deep darkness of the night.

He waved his head to two guards behind him in an unspoken command.

They marched into the building leaving the others outside in silence.

When they returned, their faces were full of hate for the girl on the floor.

" She thrashed the mint condition study room"

The butler's eyes grew wide and the red in the whites of his eyes got redder after he heard what they said.

'slap slap slap slap. slap' He kept hitting her making her face tilt to the side because of pressure he was applying.

The crowd of servants that had gathered exploded in murmurs and gasps as they watched the scene.

"I knew they were bad news the moment they stepped into this mansion. "

"Did you even see the garbage they were wearing? "

" The Yongs showed them mercy by helping their miserable life but they repaid the good they were shown with evil"

Out of the many lot talking about her in the crowd, she could hear these particular voices black fishing her as her face received showers of slaps. Even though it didn't hurt as much as it should, she felt embarrassed and ashamed of herself. Her foolishness had led her into a trap well set by the enemy.

" Diana? " She heard her brother's voice which sounded shocked and exhausted.

" Young master. Thank goodness you are here.

This maid stepped into the monument house and destroyed a million Xyrone worth of things within the building" He pushed her forward on her knees before the Yong son standing beside her brother.

Axel's eyes which swirled with confusion now filled with fear when the young lord was included in the situation. The boy was not merciful.

He knew that as he had just experienced it in the mansion when they sparred with each other.

He ran to his sister's side and begged for mercy on her behalf

" Please show her mercy my lord" He begged WIth his forehead kissing the mossy floor while on his knees.

"When did she get in" Yong Iseul ignored the pathetic duo and decided to get his data from the butler himself.

" Well we noticed her absence from the mansion this morning as she wasn't at her station causing someone else go fill in for her.

After that we inquired where she was from her colleagues and someone pointed that they had seen her moving around the monument yesterday evening but didn't return to sleep as confirmed by her roommates."

We assumed that she might have come to steal but she did even worse. " The butler was obviously enraged but the young master was not one bit moved by the situation which the others were making a fuss about.

His eyes moved to the duo on the floor.

" My Lord. This must be a misunderstanding. " Axel asked the butler.

The words spoken by Axel were ignored like a fleeting wind as they focused on the facts that all pointed to his sister's rebellion.

"What time is it now? " The young master asked the butler who checked his black wristwatch that matched his black Butler uniform.

" 15:37" He said and that made the Lord nod his head.

" And how many hours do you think she has been missing for? "

He pointed his chin to Diana who was on the floor, ignoring Axel's existence as if he had not shown complete interesting in him few minutes ago.

The butler looked thoughtful for a moment and then said the result of his calculations

" About eighteen hours since she was said to be absent when it was time for her to sleep.

It seemed she had left for the monument after dinner was served."

The young master walked to the siblings who layed prostrated on the floor and squatted before them.

He lifted Diana's chin with his forefinger " What were you doing in my grandfather's monument for eleven hours little girl? He asked calmly even though she could see the storm brewing in his hazel eyes.

She shook her head as tears poured out of her eyes.

" I didn't know. I swear I didn't know. This is a misunderstanding. I would never-" She cried desperately but got interrupted

" But you did anyway. And that's what matters" he got up and slid his hands back into his pockets as they had always been.

He was still wearing his tank top on black slacks as that was what he wore when he wanted to train.

He had been busy testing his skills on the ginger head boy until they got interrupted by a servant saying there was an emergency outside the mansion at the monument house.

When he arrived at the scene, he was met with another ginger head and it didn't take long for him to figure out that they were related

Two children of the same blood?

How did their parents get away with it?

He shook his head to get rid of his thoughts and refocused on the situation at hand.

" She claimed to have been directed by the head maid to get tea from this building. But the head maid denied any such accusations" The butler added and the boy responded with a 'hmmm'as he nodded then looked at the head maid who had her head bowed just like the other servants around.

" Why are there so many people here? Don't you have things to do or would you like to lose your job? " He barked and that was all it took for the crowd to disperse.

The servants left the scene leaving the butler, the head maid, the young master and the twins who still lay on the floor, begging pathetically.

Diana wondered how this could have been possible.

They said they noticed her absence this morning but from what she remembered, like she had had gone into the building with QingQing yesterday before noon and was attacked so was unconscious till today.

They should have notice her abscence in the kitchen when it was time to prepare lunch and dinner too.

So why were they saying they only noticed her abscence this morning?. She didn't report to the kitchen yesterday afternoon and evening so how did they skip that fact. Even Axel seemed to agree with the fact that she was only absent early today.

How was this possible. Then something clicked in her mind.

QingQing. QingQing was a shifter.

Could it be that QingQing had taken her place while she was unconscious?
