Starting off with Knowledge

''Why are you gazing at me, human? Is there something on my face that you don't find amusing?''

The demon observed Daniel's scrutinizing gaze and spoke in an amused tone as if relishing the human's bewilderment.

"N-No, but where am I?" Daniel stammered, his confusion evident.

laying in this game of puppets made by Minverva, the demon decided to play along with it.

''Don't you remember, human?''

The Demon questioned, his tone dripping with curiosity and it made Daniel even more confused than before.

''Didn't you remember that you were chosen to be a slave and a servant for Lady Lily?''

The demon explained, his lips curling into a sly smile.

As he spoke, it was as if a series of puzzle pieces clicked into place within Daniel's mind, and suddenly, the memories came rushing back.

''That's right! I remembered now!''

Daniel exclaimed with newfound excitement, his eyes lighting up and a smile spreading across his face.

The pieces of his fragmented memories fell into alignment, and he began to piece together the purpose of his existence in this unfamiliar world – to serve Lady Lily.

''That's right, human, and congratulations to you for becoming Lady Lily's personal slave and servant,''

The demon congratulated Daniel with a smile. Daniel, feeling a mix of gratitude and anticipation, replied with a humble, ''T-Thanks.''

''Which is why, starting from today, I'll be personally training you about all the districts and rules of being a servant and a slave,'' The demon added.

As Daniel rose from his bed, he bowed respectfully and declared, ''Thank you for giving me this chance, and I'll definitely become a suitable servant and slave for Lady Lily!''

His eyes gleamed with absolute devotion.

Observing Daniel's fervent dedication, the demon couldn't help but think, 'How pitiful, another human toy that Madam Minerva has experimented on.'

As a demon, the being had no inherent feelings of pity or disdain for Daniel's condition.

In fact, he harboured no prejudice or contempt for Daniel simply because he was a human.

He understood that Daniel was brought here by Minerva herself, and he had been instructed by Minerva herself to train the human, moulding him into a suitable slave for Lily.

It was a duty he had to fulfil, and his obedience to Minerva's commands was a natural part of his existence.

''Alright, from now on, call me Butler Jin, and I'm the head butler,'' the demon, Jin, introduced himself and his position.

''Yes, Butler Jin and I'm Daniel!''

Daniel replied with enthusiasm, eager to embrace his new role as a slave and servant to Lady Lily.

''Alright, Daniel,'' Jin nodded in acknowledgment.

He then continued, ''Well, normally, I would have immediately started the training, but...''

Jin paused for a moment, his gaze focused on Daniel before he resumed, ''We'll begin with inputting knowledge.''

''Yes!''

Daniel's reply brimmed with excitement, his readiness to embrace his new role apparent as he followed the demon's lead.

He didn't harbour any doubts or suspicions at this point, simply trusting in Jin's guidance and the circumstances that had brought him here.

Jin's decision to start with knowledge stemmed from Minerva's explicit instructions.

''Jin, the corruption isn't flawless, and this human might get confused at times. That's why I need you to brainwash him about ourselves and our values,'' Minerva had advised.

With that in mind, he was set to transform Daniel into a real 'demon', starting with the basics of knowledge.

''With your enthusiasm, perhaps teaching you about knowledge would be easier,''

Jin complimented, acknowledging Daniel's eagerness with a slight smile.

He could sense that Daniel's genuine enthusiasm would be an asset in their training.

Jin had a suspicion that the reason the corruption hadn't achieved a 100% success rate in altering Daniel's memories was that there was a deep-rooted resistance within Daniel's origins.

It was as if trying to blend water and fire in perfect harmony, an inherently incompatible task.

To break down that resistance, Jin believed it would require Daniel's heart and mind to fully embrace the new reality and integrate into the world of demons.

It was a complex process that would take time and effort, but they were now taking the first steps towards that goal.

''Let's start with the basic knowledge,'' Jin began, clearing his throat to capture Daniel's attention.

He then posed a question, ''Daniel, do you know who our majesty, the Demon Empress, is?''

Daniel's response came with confidence, as he recalled the information he had known before.

''Isn't our Majesty, Empress Aphrodite?'' he answered.

''That's absolutely correct, it is indeed Empress Aphrodite,'' Jin affirmed, nodding approvingly.

They were laying the groundwork for Daniel's understanding of this new world, starting with the most fundamental pieces of information.

''The Demons, including us, all serve and are fiercely loyal to our Majesty, Empress Aphrodite,'' Jin explained.

''But, in addition to that, there are 10 Noble Demons, also known as the Mother of All Monsters, Echidna, and they play a significant role in our world. They are the origins of various types of monsters.''

Jin proceeded to name each of the 10 Noble Demons, providing a brief description of each.

''Erebus, the shadow monarch''

''Gaia, the ruler of Life''

''Amphitrite, the sovereign of all seas''

''Theia, the Damned Light''

''Persephone, the underworld ruler''

''Athena, the War Conqueror''

''Nemesis, the Original Sin''

''Iris, the Element Dictator''

''And finally, Psyche, the Goddess of Insects''

Daniel listened carefully, absorbing this new knowledge about the hierarchy and the key figures in the demon world.

''Now, these are the 10 Noble Heads who are also called the Demon Lords,'' Jin added, emphasizing their significance.

''And even though they may not be the Empress, they possess the potential to rival her or even ascend to her position.''

He paused, his eyes fixed on Daniel. ''Do you understand all of that?''

Daniel replied with a nod of his head, signifying his comprehension.

''Good! Then, we can continue with the next topic,'' Jin affirmed, pleased with Daniel's grasp of the information.

They were making steady progress in Daniel's education about the demon world.
