While Daniel couldn't help but feel a hint of disappointment that he wouldn't get to see Lady Lily right away, he remained hopeful and optimistic about his role and future interactions with her.

''But don't let that discourage you, as from time to time, Lady Lily might come here to spend some time,''

Jin reassured Daniel, noticing the hint of disappointment in his expression.

He hoped to uplift Daniel's spirits with the possibility of future interactions.

''Thank you, Butler Jin, and I hope that Lady Lily does come, as that would be my greatest wish,''

''Butler Jin, is this the new servant that Mother has spoken of?''

However, instead of a warm welcome, her presence exuded an unsettling air of disgust and disdain as she looked down upon Daniel.

''Yes, Lady Lily,'' Butler Jin replied immediately and respectfully, his tone more subdued in the face of her apparent displeasure.

''This is Daniel, the new servant chosen to serve you.''

Lady Lily continued to regard Daniel with a cold, calculating gaze. Her eyes seemed to pierce through him, not with curiosity, but with a chilling indifference that sent shivers down his spine.

''Hmpf! So, this is the new slave that Mother has given to me?'' she questioned, her voice dripping with disdain as she scrutinized Daniel with contempt.

''Just how many more servants does Mother plan to foist upon me?'' Her frustration was evident as she continued, ''And this time, a human?''

The mere thought of it filled her with revulsion, and she made no effort to hide her intense disgust for him.

Above her head, two feathery antennas added to her enchanting aura.

Her wings, not one, but two pairs of them, were strikingly black and carried an air of grace.

Her eyes, a captivating shade of crimson, held a mesmerizing allure that drew him in.

Despite her disdainful attitude, Daniel couldn't deny the entrancing presence of Lady Lily.

Daniel couldn't help but admire Lily's beauty, but he wisely kept his thoughts to himself, heeding Jin's earlier warnings about the strict boundaries he should maintain.

Jin, on the other hand, continued to speak on Daniel's behalf.

''That's right, Lady Lily. From now on, this human, Daniel, will serve you loyally and carry out your every command.''

However, Lily's judgmental gaze remained fixed on Daniel as she expressed her displeasure.

She furrowed her brow and her crimson eyes bore into him with an intensity that could send shivers down to anyone's spine.

''A human? My servant? I can't accept that! If Mother insists on giving me another servant, she could at least provide one who is a demon, not this human!''

Her frustration was evident, and it was clear that she had strong reservations about Daniel's presence in her household.

''I understand how you feel, Lady Lily, but we cannot disobey Madam's instructions.''

''Lady Lily, you don't have to bring this new servant with you all the time.''

Jin explained further, ''Well, first of all, he has yet to be trained, and it might take several years before he can officially become your personal servant''

''Additionally, his primary station is here in this mansion''

''So, as long as you don't come here or choose him as your personal servant, everything will remain undisturbed.''

Lily contemplated Jin's suggestion, finding it reasonable. It would mean that she could avoid the constant presence of a human servant and maintain her preferred distance.

''Very well, I accept this arrangement, Butler Jin,'' she conceded, her demeanour showing a slight improvement.

Lily, despite accepting the arrangement, couldn't help but express her disdain for Daniel.

She approached him, her crimson eyes filled with contempt, and delivered her words with an air of superiority.

''Listen here, you filthy human,'' she began, her voice dripping with disdain. ''I don't like you, nor will I acknowledge you as my servant. Your smell disgusts me, your very presence makes me want to puke, and your appearance is an eyesore that makes me cringe. I can't stand the existence of a human near me.''

She paused, her gaze piercing into Daniel with a chilling emptiness, creating a tense silence in the room.

''But,'' she continued, her tone still laced with venom, ''because of Mother's orders and Jin's suggestion, I will permit you to exist, as long as you don't become a thorn in my side''

''Do you understand?'' Her words were like a cold, eerie whisper that made silence shudder.
