Settling the sands

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the desert, I stood atop a dune, surveying the land before me. My journey since reincarnation had led me to this point: the beginning of establishing a civilization in the heart of ancient Egypt.

With determination burning in my eyes, I turned to my small group of followers. They were a mix of weary souls who had also been drawn to his vision. "My friends," I spoke, my voice carrying an air of hope, "we have traveled far and wide in search of a place to call our own. A place where we can lay the foundations of a new beginning."

The group nodded, their faces illuminated by the fading light. Among them were skilled laborers, farmers, and thinkers, all with unique talents to contribute to the budding community.

"We stand at the crossroads of destiny," I continued. "The Nile flows not far from here, bringing life to the land. And so, it is here that we shall settle."

I don't know where I got that determination but then I realized running a city is way harder than I thought and found myself deep in thought. So I wandered away, my mind swirling with plans and concerns. It was then that I encountered the same bald man I met before, standing alone amidst the dunes.

Intrigued, I approached the stranger. "Greetings," I called out, his voice carrying a sense of curiosity.

The bald man turned, his eyes bearing a depth of wisdom that seemed to span generations. "Greetings, young leader," he replied, his voice resonating with a soothing timbre.

"I have a thousand questions," I admitted with a smile, "about this journey, about the future of our settlement."

The bald man nodded, his gaze steady. "The path you tread is one of challenges and revelations. Every leader faces doubts, but remember that every seed planted today becomes tomorrow's harvest."

My heart resonated with the words. "And what of you? Are you a wanderer, or do you have a purpose in this land?"

A knowing smile played on the bald man's lips. "I am but a guide, a whisper of the past to those who listen. Your journey is yours to weave, but remember the threads that connect us all."

With those cryptic words, the bald man seemed to melt into the sands, leaving me deep in thought. The encounter lingered like a dream, a reminder that even in the expanse of the desert, echoes of history could be heard.

So I guess that man wasn't real, but at least he left me with some good advice. I went to the settler party and led them to where Memphis would be so the good thing was that they had camels and donkeys. It only took 2 days since we were right by the entrance.

I started ordering 100 people to cut trees for walls 150 people to fish and hunt and the rest to find building materials for houses. While some of them started building palaces since I was the leader of this Egyptian empire
