Training Mutants

As Leo was experimenting with his abilities, Charles and Erik, like in a movie, captured Emma Frost who had gone to tempt a Soviet official.

Erik released Frost's diamond skin and allowed Charles to read her memories, which let Charles know about the plans of Sebastian Shaw. The plan was for the Soviet Union to deploy missiles in Cuba, which would eventually trigger a war between the United States and the Soviet Union, leading to a worldwide nuclear war. Humanity would be wiped out by nuclear radiation, and Mutants could take advantage of that to become the masters of the earth.

When Charles learned this, he couldn't remain calm. He had always imagined that humans could live in peace with Mutants.

Erik didn't think much of it. His current goal was to get revenge on him for killing his mother years ago.

Charles and Erik handed the Frost over to the CIA, and then heard that the base had been attacked with countless casualties. Worried about Mystique's safety, Charles quickly drove to the base.

At this time, some people from the C.I.A. were cleaning up the scene, while Mystique and the other Mutants were sitting there with nothing to do. They were no longer so afraid of last night, unlike in the movies, because of Leo, Angel did not betray the group, and the driver Darwin, was not dead.

They were grateful that Leo had saved them last night, and they felt much more at ease now that he was with them.

"Raven, thank god! Are you hurt?" Charles drove to the Mystique the moment he got out of the car. He was only relieved when he confirmed that she was not injured.

"We're fine, none of us were injured. It was Leo who saved us back then." She simply described what happened last night.

"I'll send you home in a minute!" Charles looked at the other Mutants and continued.

'We don't want to go back. We want to fight with you. Besides, we don't have a home anymore. Our families look at us like we're monsters.' It was Darwin who said it.

"I don't want to go back to prison either." Alex expressed his worries.

"I don't want to go back and continue being a hooker!" Angel pleaded.

Charles could only remain silent while Erik's eyes flickered with unknown thoughts.

"I also don't want to encounter that kind of situation where I can only tremble in the corner, and can only survive by relying on someone else to save me." Mystique also said, and then glanced at Leo, who was standing silently.

"We can train them!" Erik suddenly said from the side. He was facing the young Mutants, but his tone was obviously for Charles to hear.

"Erik, can we talk in private?" Charles took Erik aside.

"No, we can go there." Charles seemed to think of something and said mysteriously.

Leo thought that if he could turn his skin into vibranium or adamantium alloy, wouldn't he be invincible? Therefore, Leo was looking for such hard metals. Although he might not be able to find the best metal, he should still be able to find something more solid than an ordinary metal.

At that moment, the people outside were gathered together. Leo's curiosity was piqued, and he couldn't help but go out to see what they were doing.

It turned out that the glider wings were ready for Banshee, and they were about to do a flight test.

Banshee was already dressed and sitting at the window on the third floor. Beast and Charles were instructing him.

"As long as you shout as loud as possible when you're about to land, you should be able to fly," said Beast.

"Okay, get ready to start. Believe in yourself. You can definitely do it," Charles said encouragingly.

The siren didn't even have time to shout before he crashed to the ground, raising a cloud of dust. Leo almost burst out laughing when he saw this.
