CH2 ENTERING THE VILLAGE

Alex looked around and was a bit nervous looking around, the village itself was comprised of huts made of leaves and twigs a simple and calming scene yet the people living there were menacing, the men looked way too muscular to exist they resembled bears more than humans. The women in comparison looked more civilized though well built and muscular they had a more intellectual look. What struck Alex immediately was that while the men wore the hide of animals wrapped around them the women had tailored the hides to make simple garments. Another thing that caught the eye was that they were all as fair as snow despite the burning sun

Alex: Hey Aria.

Aria:uhuh:

Alex: Where is the Elders hut I can't tell the difference between any of them

Aria: Ul know when we get there (said Aria in an annoying tone)

Alex(to himself): Alpha can you tell me our approximate location on this planet

Alpha: I lack the information to give you an accurate result you will have to make do with a rough estimate

Alex(In his head): Just give me something to work with here dude.

Alpha: fine don't complain later if u don't have enough

a moment later a beep rings inside Alex's head and then a map of the earth appears on the inside of his eyes

Alex(to himself): WHAT THE HELL!!

Alpha: Relax I am just projecting the image of the earth as a reference onto your eye

Alex: I don't mind that but I believe I told you to give me a warning

Alpha: AH yes I do recall something like that

Alex(irritated): don't recall it do it.

Alpha: do you want the information or not

Alex: Hell ya I do get to it

Alpha(with a sigh): Listen properly we are in the tropics at the moment and it appears to be autumn right now from what I can tell the atmosphere is almost identical to earth so there should be no health issues. That's all I can tell you for now

Alex(to himself): well at least you are good for something

Aria(suddenly): were here(she said while pointing to what would be the only clay house for miles)

Alex: This place is interesting

Aria: I know right all the villagers spend a month building this and my dad said it would last two years, mind blown yet.

Alex(trying not to laugh while raising his eyebrow): Two years that's cool

Aria(pouting): Don't lie to me I saw it, you were about to laugh

Alex(Thinking fast): Don't yell at me if I tell you.

Aria: I won't say anything I promise. (eyeing Alex with curiosity)

Alex:u just looked very cute while pointing to the hut

Aria(Turning slightly pink in her cheeks and looking away): nevermind me hurry up in

Alex(laughing): you first

Unknown(let me explain even tho Alex has a body of an 8-year-old because of Alpha his brain is the same as a 15-year-old making him a lot more mature than he should be)

the hut was circular from the inside and had a small throne made of animal bones and hide. sitting on top of it was a 50ish woman who wore a headdress that looked like it was taken from a saber tooth tiger. her, hair that was as black as night was showing some signs of greying and her face was also slightly wrinkled and her body radiated power. t was clear that she was a person who was used to power

The woman: Aria I see you are back from your little trip did you find anything interesting.

Aria: No chief I did not the thing they fell blue up a little while after I got there the only thing there were some scraps of something hard

Alex(to himself): It looks like they don't know about metals

The woman: Aria who is your little friend there.

Aria: He's just a random kid I found near the crater he said he was lost and asked me if he could stay with us for the time being

The woman(with visible a sign of interest): Hello my name is Aanya and as you might know I am the chief of this village

Alex(with a deep bow): My name is Alex and I request you to grant me temporary refuge in your grand village

Aanya: My My aren't you a polite one and here I thought all men were savages

Alex: there are exceptions in all cases

Aanya(slapping her thigh): I like him he's a witty one

Alex: does that mean I am going to get to live in this village

Aanya(with a visibly darkened expression): Just because I like you does not mean you get to walts in ur gonna take the test like everyone else got it. (she looked at him with a look of pure venom and the pressure she exerted was suffocating)

Alex simply nodded his head

Aanya(now back to her previous self): Good now you can stay at Arias place for the time being you test begins at the crack of dawn tomorrow so make sure you're ready if you want to stay

Alex(with another deep bow): I understand (With that he and Aria hurried out)
