New Aquilae

Within Valad's weeks of absence from the planet with his little excursion to Naboo with Vaylin, things had changed slightly with the companions he left behind. Princess Leia Aquilae who had come from a divergent reality known as 'The Star Wars' had renamed the planet of Trevi IV, into New Aquilae. The system would soon be unofficially renamed Aquilaean System, to fit her fancy.

It seemed this was one way of her dealing with this loss of her original home. Now much like the Princess Leia Organa who would cease to be without Anakin Skywalker who founded New Alderaan, founded a new home here.

Like the spoiled little girl that she is, she even went out of her way to form her own squad of handmaidens out of the formerly enslaved on the world. She was a pompous Princess, she believed she could start up her own legacy on a world that lacked much needed supply.

While the flora would allow them to survive on the planet for maybe weeks or months at a time, it was unlikely she'd be able to stay in one place. The settlers, if there were any, needed to be nomadic.

A nomadic Kingdom wasn't really a Kingdom at all, but just a rather large mobile tribe.

All of the force sensitive children, teens and adults all gathered around with the Aku Clan and Jedi Master Fay. They seemed to ignore the Princesses Antics and decided to simply learn more about the force and await the return of Valad which Fay foretold.

However when the time came for Valad to return, Master Jedi Fay seemed to have been the first one contacted? Taking out her holocommunicator which chirped for her to answer, she pressed the flat button on the top of the mechanism.

Her eyes narrowed, an indifferent expression on her face as she took in the sight of Valad hovering over Vaylin. It looked like he was preying upon her, but she could easily tell Vaylin was quite into whatever was going on.

She let out an inaudible sigh and spoke with a very impartial, unprejudiced, nonpartisan, neutral, objective, outside and disinterested voice. "What are you doing?"

Valad's response seemed to be sheepish as Vaylin seemed to have been the one to reach over and end the transmission.

Fay glanced over towards the human apprentice who was training the hardest of all of them. It was Riané, using her saber as her medium of meditation and physical training.

From what she could discern, the girl was extremely prideful and blatant. Yet the intense training she was going through meant she had something to prove. It seemed that if this was to escalate, she'd definitely feel something if she learned that...

Fay's gaze locked onto the blinking light which was coming from the circular device sitting on Riané's belt and blinked a few times. Watching as the girl went to answer the holocommunicator, she pursed her lips. "This is going to get ugly..." She watched as the head of the R9 unit appeared first this time and arched a brow. 'The droid was the one calling them?' Fay as a Master Jedi was trying not to laugh. What kind of joke was this?

She went to turn away, hearing the loud words coming from the Apprentice's Mouth, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY MASTER!?" Riané went about bellowing, without care of who heard. Many of the female compatriots came rushing over, but before they could see anything the hologram transmission was abruptly ended.

Fay just shook her head as she found herself sitting on a large rock, closing her eyes. 'Doing to your master, my ass.' While she wouldn't necessary curse outside of her mind, she was rather certain this was all started by Valad himself.

The Jedi Master began to meditate on her own, only to be swiftly joined by a young Ahsoka Tano, who had narrowly escaped the hands of Leia who was trying to get the little Togruta to wear a makeshift Handmaiden's outfit.

Opening one eye, "Ah... The Little Ahsoka," Fay let out a quiet titter, reaching over and dragging a stone through the mud and rested it directly in front of her about a meter away. "Would you like to join me?"

Ahsoka stared at the woman for a few moments, before smiling and nodding. Climbing up onto the stone, she sat cross legged and imitated Fay's meditative stance.

Soon enough both of them were sitting there with their eyes closed. Other than the steaming hot screaming and anger that was going off only yards away sourced from Riané, they gave the impression of becoming rather calm.

Their minds became clear, tranquil. Fay began to meditate on what she had seen, felt and done for the past week. She held no guilt, nor regret for which she had done. Yet she wasn't shameless. There were always mistakes and achievements that they could learn from.

An Ancient Jedi Master had once said, if a Jedi does not meditate on the past and future, then they are ignorant and guilty. There was always something to reflect upon, and always something to learn.

Ahsoka was attuning her mind to the force, feeling and delving deeply into it with her little four year old mind. Her mind had been opened and educated under the influence by Valad's power of indoctrination. Though she saw it as a gift, there was no pain, it was simply as if he switched out some cogs or changed an algorithm or two.

Master Fay who had witnessed its use was meditating heavily on this power he had used. Indoctrination, how it worked, what it did to the mind.

From what she could surmise, the power allowed him to change how one thought. Much like the sudden changes with Padmé Amidala, who wanted to remove the irritatingly long terms of the reigns to come. Yet instead of doing so, she switched gears and so did the entire Advisory council. The next thing everyone knew, Naboo had become a Hereditary Monarchy and the entire Chommell Sector joined them in an alliance within a matter of a week.

An unrecognized feeling came crashing down from above through the force. Ahsoka Tano seemed to feel a bit dizzy since she was focusing on the force around her. Opening her eyes, the little one gazed to the sky.

Her eyes narrowed, Fay also noticed the change and matched her Gaze. Both the Jedi Master and the youngling's jaws learnly fell off. A starship at least twenty two kilometers in length had appeared. It visible took apart the parameter ship of the Lucrehulk Freighter and integrated the Coreship into itself. It was like watching a bigger fish, consuming a much smaller one.

"Where did he get that?" Fay verbally queried to herself, though Ahsoka still shrugged to the question, rubbing one of her eyes. "When did he have that built... And where?"

If that ship had been built over any known planet, or at least at a reputable shipyard, the Jedi Order would have known about its construction. Judging by the size of it, it'd take either Months are years to build depending on how much was paid, manpower and the resources available.

Yet she had a strange feeling about the ship. She could see that it didn't have a regular hull as it seemed black and reflective. It was as if it had been surrounded by a crystalline armor of some sort. She licked her lips, dampening them as they grew dry.

...

An hour later a mass calling, everyone's communicators supplied by Valad were going off. Even the communication suites within the landing crafts which many were using as temporary housing were housing.

One after another, everyone began to answer the call. Within the Quantum Communication Suite on board the Star Dreadnought above the planet, Valad watched over the faces and bodies which appeared to see him.

Everyone seemed surprised by the sudden appearance of Valad. And to him, it looked like he was surrounded by a senate of people.

"My people of Trevi IV," Valad began his announcement before he was suddenly interrupted.

"New Aquilae." Princess Leia said as she cleared her throat loudly, pretending to cough in the process.

His eyes narrowed directly onto her projection and raised a brow slightly. She had tried to restart her long lost homeworld. "Such a Princess," he made a sarcastic remark which made her cheeks puff up due to his condescending tone.

"My people of New Aquilae," He said the new name of the world with a mocking tone, making it sound grandiose or much like a joke. Given that she wanted to restart the legacy of her peaceful family once guided by the Jedi-Bendu, he could use this to his own plans.

Though he couldn't help but chuckle at the group of young girls who were wearing makeshift Handmaiden outfits. It was as if they had been playing pretend, either that or their Princess was really bad at embroidery. The outfits consisted of mainly loose clothe and plant fibers. They looked like dryads from Greek Mythos.

Some of the people, especially his apprentice seemed to chuckle at him as he made fun of the Princess. "My Mission to Naboo is complete. The Chommell Sector is under the influence of the Naboo. I wish to place my influence over this Sector as well." His eyes narrowed on Leia once more with a devious grin which made her almost pale.

"Are there any Trader's Guildsmen or women here?" After a brief silence a few hands raised within the crowd of holograms. "I wish you to get the name of New Aquilaean System out there. We will unite this Sector under our rule, under the guise of an Aquilae Principality." There were a few gasps, though Fay wasn't exactly surprised. The younglings didn't seem to care either, nor did the older force sensitives, it didn't concern them.

"In order for the planet to thrive as a permanent presence, it needs imports and exports. It needs a steady eco-system of Fauna and Flora. I can take care of the power requirements for you to move into the cities. I can also take care of the planetary defense systems. However it is up to you, the thousands of you, to figure out who will stay and who will come with me."

Many of the people stared silently. All the Force Sensitives chose to be with the man who was claiming to want to build an Empire. Though some were skeptical, they were swayed by Fay's unwavering will to follow the force's whim.

From there Valad began to gather those whom could be used as 'Royal' Advisors of the new temporary government which he was establishing in the Sector.

[ Planetary Government Founded. Planetary Management Tab now Available. ]

Blinking a few times seeing the new tab appear, he was rather curious. Just what could he use this tab for. Seeing it appear within the toolbar at the top of the hub, he activated it. A screen with a full view of the planet appeared before him. He could spin it like a globe, and even manage the cities.

The first thing he did was add an 'Auto-Cloning' Facility into the city which was protruding out of the water. This facility would gather and analyze genetic data, splice and create new human, humanoid or alien settlers. It came with a handful of basic templates from each of the known humanoid races of the galaxy.

The facility was completely automatic, including a virtual intelligence which educated new clones. It would take three months for the humans to mature into ten year olds before their aging began to slow. The aging process would only begin to completely be regarded as normal when they reached the age of fifteen.

By this time it would have been three years, and the individuals would lead lives based on how they were raised and what they were raised to do. They could copulate like any other human being or animal, so cloning wasn't necessary once they reached a stable populace level.

Within the week at least half of the people who went down to the planet were returning to the space in order to board the massive vessel. The Landing Crafts would have entered through the main hangars on the prong like arms of the super star destroyer.

The force sensitives were the first to land and the first to begin their trek through the unknown vessel. The layout was large, each corridor could fit hundreds if not thousands of people rushing through them. There were mouse droids pretty much everywhere, guiding people to their rooms and even touring them about the ships facilities. Of course the little squeaking machines didn't even speak galactic basic.

At this time Valad was standing on the main bridge. The architecture of the interior had changed completely within the Core after it was integrated into the ship. The windows themselves became triangular, like that of a Star Destroyer. There were pits where navigation controllers would be in, just like on the Executor Class Star Dreadnought famously commanded b Darth Vader.

Personally he was feeling at home.

That was until his Apprentice barged on to the bridge. Her face was red, keeping a week's worth of jealousy all wound up inside of her.

Glancing over his shoulder towards the Apprentice, he raised a brow slightly. Vaylin was sleeping in the Commandchair, so there really wasn't much tension between them as of yet. "Sup?" He gave a rather casual tone, as if nothing had happened.

"Sup?!" She drew her neck back and growled slightly. She marched on over to him and poked her index finger harshly against his sternum, which barely made him flinch despite the hard impact. His torso just swayed slightly, as he kept his balance.

"What does she have that I don't?!" His apprentice spat out at him, as if she was full of a lion's pride. To her he was her mate, yet he had blocked her before and then took in someone of the same age.

"Purity," Valad sighed aloud, his shoulders dropping a bit as she was confronting him with this.

She responded in a low tone, "I AM PURE!" She looked like she wanted to punch him.

Shaking his head slightly, Valad would only smirk. "Not in mind, you're not."
