Force Resistence

When a Jedi, or really anyone, who is trained in the ways of the force. They are trained in a way to resist it as well. Be it to resist mental attacks, illusions or even possibly force powers itself. Force Resistance is one of the key powers which a Jedi Knight and Master relay on to repel enemy force users attacks.

Valad knew this, he knew that if he tried to use the indoctrination on her she would be able to completely resist him. He was only level twenty six and from what he could tell, he felt as if he was just at the level of a powerful Jedi Knight.

On the other hand Fay even if she wasn't a Jedi, she was centuries old and barely looked over the age of twenty one. To go against a Force Master that old and that skilled was insane.

Though being called a child, he immediately flexed his jaw side to side. "Almost everyone is a child to you," Valad replied to the questioning tone she had gave away. "Why are you here?"

Fay stood there for several moments, hearing how he had just called her old. He obviously knew some of her background, at least that she was centuries old she bet. Though it didn't seem like he was going to call her out for anything else.

It also didn't seem like the boy in front of her was a Jedi. She could sense to two attuned crystals within his saber which was up his sleeve. She also felt the saber within the sleeve of the girl beside him. Master and Apprentice? Aren't their ages a bit close?

She knew the youngest Jedi Knight was around fourteen years old, if they went to Almas Academy that is. Considering it would be rather hard for a Padawan to become a Knight in one or two years after being a learner to a Master.

The amount of force energy though that she felt around him was immense. It was like the Force was dancing around him, 'is he the chosen one?' Was the only question which suddenly came to mind. 'Was that the reason I was brought to him?'

Her jaw clenched shut as she thought to herself. The force had lead her right to him. A boy surrounded by two women and several droids at his craft. Then there was the strange federation ship with unknown marks orbiting the planet of Faa.

"The Force called me to you." Master Fay stated, her eyes remaining locked on the boy. As if he were going to run away from her at any moment. Yet he remained entirely calm in her presence.

Valad's eyes narrowed on the woman in front of him. "The force... Called you to me?" His gaze wandered over to his apprentice, then back to Fay.

At that moment, the Jedi Master flinched as they foresaw an attack through the force coming through precognition. Yet nothing happened, Valad didn't attack. She furrowed her brows, opening and closing her hands calmly.

"What did you just try to do?" The knowledgable master asked curiously, seeing as he just feinted a Jedi Master. Curious of how he had just done that.

Valad tilted his head to the side, "Attempted to play with your head, your resistance to the force is rather... Passive. Not that I'm surprised. You're a Jedi Master, centuries beyond me. I'm rather surprised you're not on the High Council."

Even as a member of the High Council, she wouldn't be restricted to the Jedi Temple of Coruscant. However the only problem was, she couldn't leave contact with the Jedi. She'd also have more responsibilities which held her back. Him saying he was surprised, was a blatant lie, one which was clearly meant to be flattery.

Fay made a smug expression, curling one side of her lips up as she heard this. "Play with my head?" She could only scoff, as if it was some sort of joke and began giggling, even gave a light snort.

Valad wore a blank smile, he thought what he was seeing was rather cute despite the woman being several hundred years old. "Leia, you can get back to the transport."

"But..."

Valad gave the princess one look and raised a brow. "Go."

Nodding slowly, she didn't want to leave the only thing, person, that made her feel 'warm' as the world around her felt like it would break at any moment. She had lost everything, he was the only thing she could find dependence on.

His apprentice remained silent at his side, watching the Master Fay as the companion which had accompanied them left the corridor and went outside in the pouring rain and stormy weather.

"So why are you here?" Fay asked the one known as Valad, her eyes still showing a glint of curiosity.

Valad stared at her for a few moments before shrugging. "Increasing the size of my sect," when he claimed he had a sect of his own, the woman just stared at him bewildered.

"And what sect is that?" Fay asked with a mused tone, she was clearly not taking that seriously.

Rolling his eyes, "The Imperial Knights."

The Master Jedi blinked a few times, the muse in her expression vanished. 'Imperial Knights?' It wasn't a familiar term, yet the name itself didn't exactly sound peaceful. It was as if they'd be serving a higher power. An Emperor?

"And who would these Knights serve?" Master Fay asked with a simple hand gesture.

Valad watched her hand move, then his eyes narrowed on her face, but not her eyes. "The Emperor, the throne. My. Throne." His voice didn't sound friendly, it sounded indifferent.

He had one large freighter that could terrorize a world who had a small army. Fay was now curious of who he was going to invade, conquer.

"And who are you goin–" She was cut off as she watched him glance over his shoulder towards the corner which seemed to be occupied but seemingly silent. They were being watched, but that was no matter. There were no spies here, they could both sense it was Jango around the corner.

"The Rakatan Archipelago, from what my preliminary 'scans' picked up that they're at a low technology level. However two of the systems have massive space stations near their suns of Infinite Empire design." Valad stated as he knew most people within the known galaxy didn't know of what the Rakatan Archipelago was, or where it was in general. "Though it's likely that the plague has already wiped out the Rakatan who had once inhabited hose worlds. All that might be left is their slaves, if they even managed to survive."

Fay slowly nodded, so this man was going to conquer and unite a lost civilization. And he was going to be a founder of a militant faction of force users. "What is your stance on the Jedi Order?"

"Necessary," Valad stated with a light nod before tilting his head to the side slightly. "However, the Jedi Order should be allowed to have their own army. Similar to the Army of Light which vanquished the Sith Brotherhood." That's when he paused and turned away from her.

Riané watched as the man turned away from the Jedi and began walking towards the direction of the Inhibitor chips. She then looked forward to Fay who was smiling lightly.

Fay believed there was hope for the boy as he believed that the Jedi were necessary. She didn't know if he had a reason for the necessity of the Jedi's existence, but she was quite charmed to hear this.

...

Valad entered the room where the programming of the chips would be located. He glanced over his shoulder as he sensed Jango still watching the Jedi Master and his Apprentice. He could sense the angst the bounty hunter had. The Jedi had wiped out the True Mandalorians after all.

Walking over to a terminal with a nonchalant expression over his face, the air around him made it feel as if he was suppose to be there. Using the force to cloak him from the attention of others. He began his work as he used his powers of Mechu-Deru and Electronic manipulation to change the contingency code for Order 66.

The new code for Order 66 was: "In the event that this protocol is activated, it is proof that the individual who issued this command is no longer fit for duty and is acting against the interests of the Republic. The Supreme Chancellor, and his or her administration, is to be removed from power by lethal force. Command of the Grand Army of the Republic shall be granted to the Grandmaster of the Jedi High Council until a new command structure is established."

Winking to himself, Valad would implement the changes into the inhibitor chips. He then proceeded to leave the room after removing any evidence of him being there.

Valad reappeared standing directly beside Riané as he lowered the cloak. "May I invite you to our ship?" He asked curiously looking over the ancient Jedi Master with a keen interest.

"Of course," Fay said with a shake of her head and a smile across her lips. The three of them would make their way out of the interior of Tipoca City and onto the platforms in order to return to their ships.

As the canopy of her Delta 6 opened, Fay jumped inside whilst Riané and Valad casually walked up the ramp of the Scimitar and closed the airlock behind them. Several minutes later the ship began to power up and the two vessels made their way out and up into the sky. Going at full speed, it only took minutes for them to break the atmosphere and go into hyperspace to make it to the Imperius within moments of leaving the planet.

...

Jedi Master Fay's jedi star fighter and the Scimitar came out of hyperspace, heading towards the first zone of the port side hangar. The side of the ship which had the compartments.

They ended up landing right beside one another directly at the second zone's closed hangar doors. This wasn't really expected, but Fay could feel over a thousand people on the otherside of that door.

At first she would assume he was keeping slaves, but what she was feeling from them wasn't dread or despair. Everyone on the other side of the hangar doors seemed to be happy, content. There were very few who were malcontent with being stuck on the ship, but it seemed they were dealing with it.

On the other end of the hangar however, she could feel ten compartments with ten force sensitives each. She was astonished at the fact that he already had around a hundred young force sensitivities amongst his crew. While many of them were too old to be trained by the Jedi Order, there were a handful that would be able to join the order by default.

Fay jumped out of the canopy as it opened up, and as she landed on her feet. She witnessed Valad phasing through the belly of his transport and landing on his feet. He had the same signature power as An'ya Kuro, the Dark Woman.

She immediately felt the urge to ask more questions. "Have you ever been trained by the Jedi? By An'ya Kuro?"

Valad gave her a light gaze before shaking his head. "The Dark Woman? No, never trained by the Jedi. Self-taught." He scoffed at her slightly and she hardly believed that he was self taught at this level, since he was only in his teens.

Fay heard how he addressed Kuro as the Dark Woman. Mostly only Jedi called her that name due to her treatment of her students as well as her controversial powers. "You sure?"

"If I was, I wouldn't be here." Valad snapped back at her as she seemed to push it. He wasn't a Jedi and while he saw them as necessary, he wouldn't join them even if he was offered to be an honorary member. "While they're necessary, the Order itself is hypocritical and sometimes even criminal."

Fay's heart stung as she heard his accusation towards the Jedi Order. Hypocritical, she could recall many cases like that. And criminal? There were many cultures which saw the Jedi Order as child snatchers. So in a sense, he wasn't telling a lie.

"So why invite me here, Kiddo?" Fay tried to reach out to him with her words once more.

"I'd like you to join my Sect, to be my advisor and confidant. You are centuries old, you roam the galaxy guided by the force. You no longer need the Jedi Order, so I wish for you to join me."

'No longer need the Jedi Order?' Fay's mind went blank as he said this, and even pointed out that she was centuries old yet again. Yet he wanted her to be his advisor and confidant? Her eyes centered upon him, the Force was telling her to accept his proposal. 'Why is it telling me to leave the Jedi Order behind now?'

Reluctantly, Fay slowly nodded in response to the offer.

Valad cheerfully huffed air out his nose, "Welcome to the Round Table, my Grand Knight."
