Chapter 106: Rise of The Mandalorians Episode IX

(3rd Person: POV)

As modified AIAT/i she and her apprentice were riding in, with numerous 'True Mandalorians', breached the dome surrounding Sundari, Komari Vosa opened her eyes and stopped her meditative trance.

She then drew on the Force and enhanced her physical abilities. Her apprentice, Sia-Lan doing the exact same thing.

The moment after they did so the back of the AIAT/i they were riding in opened up.

The same with the other heavily modified AIAT/i flying right beside their own vessel.

As soon as the back of the AIAIT/i flying inside of Sundari were fully opened, the Mandalorians inside of the troop transports began jumping out, slowly their descent into the city using their jetpacks. Their weapons already hot and ready to deal with the 'Death Watch' forces in the Mandalore capital city.

For the Mandalorians descending into the city were not with 'Death Watch' but were forces of the 'True Mandalorian' faction led by Jango Fett. Who were entering Sundari to protect its citizens and stop 'Death Watch' from overtaking it.

Jumping out of the AIAT/i they were in without any hesitation, Komari and Sia-Lan began free-falling toward the cityscape of Sundari, using Force pushes to slow their descent.

Eventually master and apprentice landed safely on the ground, along with the 'True Mandalorians' who were riding in the transport with them.

The second after this happened Komari and Sia-Lan pulled their lightsabers off their belts and activated them.

The former wielding a part of dual lightsabers with curved hilts, both of the saber's blades a dark blue.

While the latter wielded a single lightsaber, the color of the blade a light green.

"Jedi, kill them!" A 'Death Watch' member shouted.

He then started firing in Sia-Lan's direction.

Using her lightsaber she deflected the shots aimed at her right back at the 'Death Watch' member firing at her. The returned shots hitting them in the chest.

Killing them.

But that was far from the end of things.

Taking up aim at the 'True Mandalorians' the 'Death Watch' sympathizers opened fire on them without any hesitation, not caring about the innocent people that got caught in the crossfire.

But the 'True Mandalorians' did.

Coordinating themselves with expert precision the 'True Mandalorians' took up defensive positions in front of the innocent people. while taking it to the 'Death Watch' members on the attack.

Soon Sundari was filled with the sound of blaster fire and explosions, as the two Mandalorian factions tangled just as they did during the Civil Wars several years ago.

Empowering her body with the Force Komari jumped across the Sundari cityscape, using her lightsabers to cut down any 'Death Watch' members she came across, or who'd stupidly attack her.

Performing another Force jump Komari landed on a bridge.

Just as a 'True Mandalorian' was about to get their head blown off by a 'Death Watch' member.

Not about to le that happen Komari hit the 'Death Watch' member with a Force push, sending them flying off the bridge and down into the depths of the planet Mandalore below.

Though just as Komari did this several grenades landed on the bridge she was on.

Noticing this she quickly used telekinesis to toss the grenades upward into the air, the grenades exploding seconds after Komari did.

The force of the explosion made her skid backwards, but at least she saved the bridge she was standing on.

Quickly re-orienting herself Komari scanned the area and found the ones who had just tried to blow her up.

Performing another Force jump she head in their direction.

Using her lightsabers to deflect any shots from their blaster rifles they fired at her.

Landing in front of the two 'Death Watch' members Komari dashed past them, and then quickly stuck her one of her sabers into each of their backs.

Killing them instantly.

The enemies attacking her taken care of, Komari moved onto another target.

Rushing through the cityscape of Sundari, Sia-Lan and the 'True Mandalorian' commandoes she was fighting beside suddenly came upon a 'Death Watch' member who was using a child as a human shield.

"Stay back, or I'll blow this brats head off!" The 'Death Watch' member shouted. Holding the blaster pistol in his hand to the head of a little girl he restrained with the other.

Seeing this the 'True Mandalorians' commandoes did not make a move, but Sia-Lan was different.

Looking into the 'Death Watch' members eyes she put him under an illusion, and made him see a horrible thing.

An old woman, drenched in blood, running towards him with a flamethrower in her hands.

"Agh!!!" The 'Death Watch' member shouted in utter fear. "Stay away from me!" He cried.

Dropping the child he were using as a human shield in the process.

The moment this happened Sia-Lan threw her lightsaber in the 'Death Watch' members direction, and it boomeranged, slicing the soldier in half before Sia-Lan recalled her saber to her hand using telekinesis.

After she did she moved to check on the little girl.

"Thank you, big lady." The little girl said, giving Sia-Lan a hug.

Which she reciprocated.

But made sure it only lasted a moment, for Sia-Lan still had a battle to finish.

Soon all across Sundari the 'Death Watch' members were slowly losing ground.

Between the 'True Mandalorian' soldiers in the city being led by Kal Skirata, the 'Death Watch' members who had decided to heed Jango's words from his speech and turn against the organization, and the citizens in Sundari who decided to fight back, in no time at all the battle was over.

'Death Watch' having been completely defeated.

Just as the morning sun rose on Mandalore.

Signaling the start of a new day, and a new beginning for the Mandalorian people.
