Saving Refugees

After hours of traveling the transport, ships had emerged from the Relay Jump as hundreds of ships appeared around the Mass Relay. The civilians onboard were glad that they were able to escape from the Reapers and now they were attempting to find where they were at.

But as they were trying to find where they were a small Reaper force that was following them had jumped behind them. The Transport ships immediately responded by attempting to flee since the weapons that they had were useless against the Reapers.

The Reaper had launched their fighters and began firing on the defenseless transport ships. The Transport ships attempted to flee but the Reaper ships were just too fast and chased them down.

Chasca the Capital of the Imperium in this Galaxy and the location of the Imperium High Command were all military operations and activity is managed and monitored. Currently, High command had detected ships that had come out of the Relay located in Imperium space.

The ships were small but great in number so a large Imperium fleet was sent to investigate whether it was an enemy fleet or people fleeting from the Reapers.

As the Imperium fleet that was sent to investigate had arrived they had seen Reaper ships attacking some smaller vessels that they noticed were transport ships so the Captain of the fleet had contacted High command to inform them.

After a couple of minutes High command had learned of the Reapers taking the Citadel and millions of people that had fled in transport ships had escaped the area and their location was unknown. And hearing that the Fleet had just found a large number of transport ships High command knew what they were so they had ordered the fleet to engage the Reapers and save the transports.

The Reapers were still attacking the Transports but had become aware of the Imperium ships that were advancing close to them so they had stooped attacking the Transports and prepared to fight the Imperium fleet.

Once in range to attack the Imperium fleet which had longer range had begun to attack the Reapers tearing through their shields and hull destroying a lot of them before they could get in range.

but this didn't stop the Reapers as they continued advancing and eventually entered range to fire back at the Imperium ships but by now the Reapers were only small in number.

The Transport ships that were under attack were surprised when the Reapers started attacking them but once they noticed the other fleet that was closing in they found out the reason why.

They watched as the other fleet which had superior range and firepower destroyed most of the Reaper ships before the Reapers could even Counterattack. They were glad that they were now saved and curious who this fleet could belong to.

The Appearance of Imperium ships was a mystery to the Galaxy since they were not seen out of Imperium-controlled space so people who never visited an Imperium world or space didn't know how Imperium ships looked.

While the Imperium ships were strange to the Citadel Councilors who were on the transport ships they were not Reaper ships so without a doubt they thought that the ships were friendly.

Looking at the firepower of the Imperium ships the Councilors were amazed since it made the Reapers who completely wiped out the Citadel fleet look weak but also they knew that it wasn't the full power of the Reaper fleet and only a small portion of it.

After a while, the battle had ended with the Imperium fleet winning losing no ships in the process and all the Reapers were destroyed.

After the battle was over the Imperiums fleet Admiral had met with the leaders of the refugees from the Citadel. The Leaders of the refugee had found out that this was a fleet from the Imperium that was sent to investigate the appearance of multiple ships exiting a Relay and after finding the Reapers attacking them they had saved them.

The Leaders were shocked since they didn't expect that the Imperium would have such a powerful fleet but they were glad since they were saved and the Imperium was being friendly towards them.

The leaders had asked the Imperium to seek refuge from the Reapers since they had nowhere to go. The Admiral of the Imperium fleet didn't have the Authority to agree with such a thing so he sent their request to High Command who then asked the highest-ranking person that was available right now which was Alpha One.

Alpha One knew that John would accept their offer and give them refugee, especially in this crisis with the Reapers and the threat of extinction of many races.

After agreeing to give them refuge the refugees were taken to Chasca the Capital of the Imperium. A location was already allocated for them so the 6 million refugees that survived would be temporarily placed there until the end of the Reaper threat where they will return to their homeworlds.

As they approached the planet the amount of military activity that was seen was a lot since this was the capital of the Imperium and even some civilians ships could be seen flying around.

The structures that were around Chasca were amazing as well as they were big in size and the design looked so sophisticated.

After passing all of the structures and fleets around Chasca the Transports ship was led to a place on the planet where they would be taking refuge. After arriving they had seen some construction going on of buildings and many droids were working on some houses.

The refugees were informed that this was where they would be staying while taking refuge here which surprised them since they were being helped so much.

Security in the Imperium was extremely high and never lowered since even in a time of crisis people will try to take advantage of it and exploit others. Keeping their security tight will help in case something does happen.

After the refugees settled in they were given food and many medical droids were looking at the injured people who if severely injured would be taken to an Imperium hospital to be saved.
