Star Wars: Desolation

(This is a Star Wars Old Republic novel. WARNING!!! Although I added the r-18 tag, I'm not sure if I will add adult content, or if I do, how much. I do hope you all enjoy!) On the run from vengeful nightsister forces, Ragu, a young zabrak warrior, is captured by a group of slavers who came to the planet in search of some valuable product. Ragu does his best to fight back, but is quickly defeated and knocked unconscious. Upon waking up, Ragu finds himself chained, and kneeling in front of a terrifying figure. Clothed in all black and skin blood red, it is impossible for anyone in the galaxy to mistake the figure in front of him for anything other than what it was. A pureblood Sith Lord.

The Gift

Ragu wakes up, light gently dancing on his eyes as he squints, trying to block it out.

Standing up, he grabs his two blades, both of which are on the desk next to his bed and pulls himself to his feet.

After quickly stretching out to lumber his body up, he walks over to the door and exits his room.

Walking through the mostly empty hallways, he continues towards Kaida's room. As he walks through the halls, many of the other slaves all smile warmly at him, a greeting which he meets with a nod.

For one reason or another, most of the staff are extremely friendly to him. Probably out of respect, or rather fear of Kaida.

Upon reaching said woman's room, Ragu knocks on the large wooden door.

Standing at the door, waiting for her to answer, Ragu can't help but to finally have a moment to think about how incredible this experience has been.

Originally, being enslaved he had resigned his fate to a runaway or getting himself killed trying to run away. But, his unfortunate fate had actually been his greatest opportunity.

During his childhood, he would often hear stories about the Sith. About how terrifying their powers are and how incredible their warrior's were.

In his tribe, the Sith were looked up to as the greatest warriors in the Galaxy. Their legendary battles against the Jedi were stories most coveted by his tribe's people.

Now, he would actually have the chance to become the Sith warrior he had always heard stories of.

After a moment, the door swing a open. Kaida, who has clearly just finished bathing, greets Ragu with a smile.

Her long black hair is tied up into a loose bun on her head, and her skin has the soft glow of moisture. Her smile is enchanting. The look of excitement and nervousness in her eyes caused the excitement of being a warrior disappear from Ragu's thoughts.

His pale complexion slightly deepens with a shade of red. He can't help but find himself going crazy about her.

From the little things like the way she rolls her eyes when annoyed to the way they glow in excitement when he pushes her in training, to the bigger things, like her stunning beauty and snarky personality.

"What are you staring at?" She asks with a knowing smirk.

"Nothing, I spaced out for a moment. Sorry Lady Kaida." Ragu quickly responds, pushing the thoughts out of his head.

"Fine. Hurry up and get in here. We need to get ready for the academy. We leave in only a few hours." She demands, waving for him to follow her inside.

After entering the room, she walks over to a large wooden box. Grabbing it, she walks over and hands the box to Ragu.

"Here. I got this for you."

"A gift?" He asks surprised.

"Yes, while in the academy, you'll be serving me. As the daughter of a Darth Lord of the Sith, I can't have you looking like a household slave can I?" She states, gesturing for him to open it.

Opening the crate, he looks inside. Inside, is a beautiful yet intimidating metal helmet and long dark robes.

The helmet is made of an ancient steel and is filled with carvings and red highlights. "It's amazing." Ragu whispers with a large grin.

Kaida, seeing Ragu's grin, can't help but to unknowingly smile.

"I'm glad you like it. It his lightsaber resistant as well, so it should serve you well." She remarks.

Ragu can't help but wonder how expensive this mask was. Lightsaber resistant materials are rare and usually are kept as gifts for a family member or apprentice.

Noticing his gaze, she says, "Do you really expect me to wear something like that? My fave is also a weapon, it would do me no good to hide it away.

Besides, remember my promise to you? I promised to grant you power. Currently, there isn't much I can do to make good on that promise other than you being admitted into the academy along side me.

Of course, as my servant you will possess a strong background that will force most other Cadet's to obey you, but this helmet is more of a way for me to show you my offer was genuine." She remarks.

Then, after a second, she smiles seductively before leaning in, close enough for her lips to almost touch Ragu's ear.

"Besides. I want your handsome face to be my little secret." She whispers, her voice as sweet as honey, a teasing smile on her face.

Hearing this, Ragu's eyes grow wide, but he does his best to stifle his reaction. The can see the laughter in the girls eyes at his reaction.

'Damned vixen.' He thinks to himself.

"If that is what you wish my lady." Ragu replies in an overly dramatic tone.

Despite the clear intent of both trying to seduce him for greater control and messing with him, Ragu can't help but smile deep down.

'A handsome face hm?' He thinks to himself.

While he always had good opinions about his looks, he had to admit, he never really had met a woman outside of brief encounters. So he never really knew where he stood when it came to attractiveness. It felt good for such a beautiful woman

"Hm? Get dressed. It seems it is time to depart." She says as she stares at a descending ship through the window.

It is time, for the academy.

(Thank you all for the power stones! Don't worry, like promised I will release one more 1,000+ word chapter today.

This one is a little shorter as I wanted to add a bit more interaction and character development before we move on to the main plot. I hope you all enjoyed!)
