Stacey looked up at Jasmine in surprise before finally smiling. "You also have me now! Now that we are friends, be prepared to see me every day!"

"It would happen anyways since I promise to walk you to and from school when I can." Jasmine pinched Stacey's cheeks, causing her to puff them out, making them easier to pinch before finally slapping Jasmine's hands away. The two girls did not realize just how intimate their current position was.

Stacey was currently lying on top of Jasmine while hugging her neck and smiling up at her, while Jasmine had one hand holding herself up while the other was on the small of Stacey's back. The two girls were gazing into each other's eyes as if they were about to kiss.

"Jas, Dinner is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...." Jasmine's grandmother broke. "I am sorry!"

Stacey and Jasmine stared at the door that had been quickly closed in confusion. They still had not realized their current ambiguous position. "What was that about…" Jasmine asked in confusion.

"No idea." Stacey was also very confused. She slowly got up and stretched. Her eyes were still red from crying. She turned, reached down to Jasmine, and said: "I think she was saying that dinner was ready, though."

Out in the other room, Jasmine's grandmother patted her chest. She hurried over to the old man and sat down next to him. After taking a minute to collect her thoughts, she finally said: "Old man. I think our granddaughter is gay."

"Pfft!" The tea Jasmine's grandfather was just drinking suddenly spat out over the coffee table as he turned and looked at the old woman next to him. "Old lady, are you okay!? I know Jas looks very tomboyish, but we were both there for her birth. Hell, I have changed her diapers before! I know she doesn't have a thing!"

"That is not what I mean! I mean, she likes girls! I just saw Stacey and Jasmine kissing!" From the perspective that Jasmine's grandmother had, Stacey and Jasmine's faces were very close, and it did look like they were kissing.

"So what! Let them explore!" Jasmine's grandfather had no issues with two girls kissing. He only snorted and asked: "Is dinner ready or not?"

"It is!" Jasmine's grandmother hated this side of the old man. He never took anything she said seriously! She wondered why she had been with him all these years. She could only glare at the old man and get up to go to the kitchen. "Don't say anything to Jasmine."

"Why would I?" The old man snorted again.

"What are you two fighting about now?" Jasmine walked into the living room with Stacey right behind her.

"It's nothing. Come eat." Jasmine's grandmother quickly changed the subject. Since her granddaughter was gay, she would just leave it at that. All that mattered was that Jasmine was happy. At this time, Jasmine and Stacey both did not realize that Jasmine's grandmother seemed to have the wrong idea about the two.

It was around midnight when they finally finished eating. Jasmine's grandmother would always stay up late with the old man to prepare dinner for Jasmine. Once dinner was done, they would hurry to bed. Just this small act of kindness filled Jasmine's heart with warmth. She had told them many times they did not need to do this, but they still did.

"I should head home…." Stacey's expression showed a hint of loneliness.

"Your mom won't be home for another two hours, right?" Jasmine asked. If she remembered correctly, Stacey said her mother would not be home until two in the morning.

"That is if she does not work overtime," Stacey replied.

"Then hang out here for now. We can set the alarm in the room for two a.m. I will walk you downstairs so you can meet up with your mom. You really should not be by yourself so late at night." Jasmine was worried about Stacey being home alone, especially with what happened with Ricky today.

Stacey pursed her lips. She also felt lonely because she was always home alone. Her mother left for work at six a.m. even though she came home at two a.m. It was really making her want to drop out of school to share her mother's burden.

"Just come and take a nap." Jasmine pulled Stacey back to her room. She only had the one bed, but they were girls, so it should be fine.

"Then I will take you up on the offer." Stacey felt really tired. After everything that happened during the day, she was more than willing to take a nap before going down to see her mother.

The two went back to Jasmine's room, where Jasmine dug in her dresser and pulled out a long shirt. She then handed it to Stacey. "Wear this for now."

"Thanks." Stacey did not hesitate to start undressing. Jasmine also did not mind. The two stripped down to their underwear and put on long shorts. Although on Jasmine, who was much taller, it went down to her thighs, while on Stacey, it went down past her knees.

The two climbed into the bed, where Stacey snuggled right up to Jasmine as if it were natural. She seemed to feel very safe next to Jasmine. Jasmine chuckled and set her alarm before slowly falling asleep.

When the alarm went off next, both girls sleepily got dressed again and went downstairs to Stacey's apartment.
