Chapter 11: The misty mountain sect has fallen

After Graves Martell left the Elf Elder he took the refreshment pill. He is again at his peak, ready to fight the enemy. 'Hah, it's so refreshing I don't know where I should search Webb.' He still heard the bangs echoing at the horizons.

'I guess the fight between the sect masters goes on since the explosions are loud. If I finally escape this hell, I will hunt this necromancer down.'

Kazadom fled outside the seal. He had a talisman to go into the formation and out from the formation. Kazadoom was sitting on a stone, healing his wounds with Demonic Qi and thinking, 'Damn this Sword cultivator. I will torture him if I see him again. But before that, I need to change my strategy. Slaughtering everything that blocks my way doesn't work. I need powerful members who think like me. For this I have to travel to Achaia.'

While he was speaking to himself, he saw Reeves was traveling with high speed to the west of the continent. 'Someone stronger is helping him. Nobody at the Nascent Soul can travel this fast! There is no cultivator who is this strong. Did he perhaps get help from elfs? It must be an Elf if this is the case, then he must be an Archmaster Magus! But why are they helping him? He is a Human after all. It doesn't matter even if they place him in their palace where multiple Archmaster Magus lives, he will still die by my hands. After all, he is a cripple. He can forget to cultivate. He can forget to escape and the girl which he was treasuring will also die by my hands!' he heartily laughed out loud.

'Before I wipe this continent out, I need to get to the Demon Ascension Soul Realm. With a powerful demon sect I could wipe the entire world and the more Magus Grandmasters I kill, the stronger my army will be.'

Spacewalker has deep knowledge about the law of earth. He created a new skill only for Nero. They clashed for two hours and nobody wanted to admit defeat.

"I see, Nero, you have improved your defense abilities, but that will not be enough. I have a special technique for you. Kiss the ground!" Spacewalker activated his new technique "100 times of gravity!" Nero couldn't hold his fly in the sky and was pressed to the ground. He didn't know the range of his new skill. Spacewalker's shocking progress of cultivation and the knowledge about earth law astonished Nero. He shouted, "I see, but this won't kill me!"

"Don't get too happy early. This is the beginning!" "1.000 times of gravity!"

Nero was now hitting the ground hard. He couldn't stand it anymore.

"Nero, you can watch now while I slaughter you precious disciples. One after another and you will be the last one!" He ordered the army to kill everyone at the Foundation Establishment or higher! The army roared loudly. They were confident of victory and happy to avenge their lost brothers and sisters. The sect disciples from the misty mountain were sweating and tried to flee to a remote place, hoping they would not be found. One Core Elder tried to step in, "I will never allow this! Die, you inhuman beings!" Spacewalker stepped in and killed him with two breaths of time.

"Spacewalker, stop! I'll do anything for you! Stop this pointless massacre, I beg you!"

"Are you still able to speak? 1.200 times of gravity!"

Nero screamed from the pain. "Aaaghr"

"Don't worry Nero, after this blood dept is over. I torture you with soul searching. Maybe I'll bind your soul to something so your soul can never rest. I have many ways to entertain you. I heard waterboarding is a new development technique with excellent results. Well, I guess I'll do everything!" while saying this the last two Core Elders looked at him with killing intent and piercing eyes. Spacewalker felt unwell and rushed to these Core Elders and killed them single-handedly. "What a waste of resources. You trained these pitiful Core Elders. They weren't even at the second stage of the Nascent Soul!"

"Now all Elders and Grand Elders are annihilated!" What Spacewalker didn't know was that Graves Martell, as an elder, survived. It was unknown if Silvers Webb survived.

The war ended. Nero was still struggling at the ground, unable to move while the whole Hidden Assassin sect fell in bloodlust. Killing nearly everything that was higher than the Foundation Establishment. The army collected the surviving people with low cultivation in one area. Spacewalker talked to the mass of people, "You have two choices. Either you swear to join our sect and never turn your back on us or we will sell you as slaves and you will lose all your rights. Your decision will be entered into a paper by the elders. There is no third option. If you try to escape, we will torture you in the worst possible way."

Two days later, Graves Martell was still searching for Silvers Webb. He has changed his mind and clearly decided against the idea of fighting his way free. The situation has changed dramatically in two days. There is almost no survivor left who is higher than Foundation Establishment. He put the clothes on from the Elder which he killed before from the match with Kazadoom to the get covered. But no matter where he looked, there was no trace of Silver's Webb. He searched for him even among the dead bodies. He saw how the sect master got tortured every day. It was awful to watch and there was nothing he could do about it. He decided Webb must have fled a long time ago. In conclusion, he went back to the temple. Unfortunately, Reeves and Ray had disappeared. The Elfs didn't even leave a message where they flew to. So he traveled east. He doesn't want to go into a sect anymore. He would rather improve his sword technique and look for the Necromancer!

The group of elves stopped at a place where few to no major sects were present. In a mountain range with five individual mountains. They enclosed a big flatland. The mountains were a natural defense for this flatland. The Spiritual Qi here was close to nonexistent.

Erran was pleased with this place and said to Princess Findir, "Let's stop here, princess." She nodded.

Four days have passed since then.

Reeves suddenly woke up in a spacious tent.

"Where am I?" Reeves tried to get up but realized that his wounds were far from healed. 'Argh' I think I won't be able to move for the time being. Not 10 minutes passed when an elf came into the tent.

Findir looked a few seconds at Reeves before saying something. "You are awake?"

Reeves looked seriously surprised. "An Elf? Yes, I guess so. Where am I?"

She didn't take that as an offense and said, "In a safe place."

"Did you save me?"

"Yes."

"Where are the others?"

"This.. I can't tell you that for now. Sorry. But I brought you some tea. It will heal your inner wounds. In a few days, you will move around."

"Thank you." he took it and drank.

"I have a few questions about the fight against the Human you fought. Do you know his name?"

"No, but somehow he was searching for me."

"Have you ever met him before? Why was he searching for you?"

"I guess not. As for the second question, I don't know either."

"Hmm, this is strange. He placed a demonic curse on you. He can track you wherever you go he knows in real time. If you don't know him, he must place it in the fight."

"I guess so. I only know that he didn't want to kill me at the end of the fight. My disciple went outside, and he noticed that and chased after her. He said that he wanted me to join him, otherwise he would kill Ray in front of me. I have neglected his two options and then he destroyed my spiritual roots. After this, he went toward Ray. I tried to walk to her. Suddenly, I saw her running to me and then I fainted."

"Is she alive? How was Ray able to inform you?"

"I'm sorry, but your disciple also got a hefty wound."

"What?! Is she alive?"

"It's complicated. You should rest a bit. "

"No way I can't rest! IS SHE ALIVE?"

Findir knocked Reeves into sleep and went to her Erran

"Uncle, I have some good and bad news. What do you want to hear first?"

"The good news."

"Reeves has woken up, but the bad news is Ray was his disciple."

Erran sighed." This is indeed bad news. If we actually tell him that his disciple is dead, then he will suffer more if his wounds are not healed. Try to make him sleep until the wounds are gone."

A Week passed since then

"Erran, it's time his wounds are nearly healed."

"Okay, let's wake him up."

A few minutes passed

Reeves slowly woke up. The first things I saw were two 'Elfs "Elfs! I had a weird dream about Elfs!"

Erran didn't want to say the truth, but lying wasn't right either. He said in a calm tone, "You are finally awake. We must inform you your sect has fallen. Your brothers have fallen. Your disciple has fallen."

Reeves needs to realize what he said. "What did you say?"

Erran repeated, "Your sect has fallen. Your brothers have fallen. Your disciple has fallen."

"No, no, this can't be true. I saw Ray in front of me. She wasn't dead! That's impossible! This Elf said to me she was actually alive. How can she die in the next moment?"

"This is the cruel reality they all died."

Reeves cried… this is a hard shock to him.

"how can this be?" Reeves asked himself 'Im truly weak. I couldnt defend my first disciple! This world is cruel!'

Erran said, "We can give you explanations, if you feel ready. There is a second tent next to this, if you have questions you will find us there."
