Spider-Verse: Creeping Hunger

In a wild twist of fate, I, a random person from another universe, find myself transmigrated into the body of Peter Parker from Gwen Stacy's universe, Earth 65B. But there's a catch - this version of Peter Parker was destined to die, paving the way for Gwen Stacy, the Ghost Spider to fall in love with Miles Morales. Well, let me tell you, I'm not going down without a fight! First things first, death is not on my to-do list. Nope, not happening. Secondly, did I mention I refuse to die? Yeah, it's a firm no from me. Thirdly, you guessed it, I absolutely refuse to meet my untimely demise. P.S: Just to make things interesting, I am gonna put some dirt in everyone's eyes!! ~ I will be posting on RR as well.

Spider-Woman

Peter stood at the entrance of the lab for a few seconds until Dr. Connors completely disappeared. A weak sigh escaped his mouth as he turned around to go back inside.

He made his way towards the nearby table, his steps echoed softly in the pristine laboratory. The polished surface of the table reflected the glow of the overhead lights, casting a subtle gleam on the assortment of scattered documents that lay before him.

The brown-haired teenager carefully picked up one of the papers, his eyes scanning the intricate diagrams and scientific jargon that adorned its surface.

Lowering his head, Peter's eyes fixed upon the microscope stationed on the table. He reached out, his fingers delicately grasping the mechanical knobs, adjusting the focus with precision.

Peering through the eyepiece, his vision became consumed by a microscopic world of wonder. As he guessed, Dr. Connors had been observing the blood cells of the mice that had been injected with the gene-altering serum.

Lifting his head, an intrusive suddenly popped in. 'Should I... steal the microscope? It can be very beneficial to my experiments.' Until now Peter had been using a simple microscope.

Nodding, slightly he decided to keep it in mind for later. With a curious spark in his eyes, Peter continued his exploration of the lab, skimming through a series of folders neatly arranged on the nearby shelves.

His agile fingers deftly flipped through the pages, capturing key details and scientific observations that might hold the key to unlocking new discoveries.

His attention then turned to a high-tech holographic device stationed on a nearby workstation, bearing the unmistakable emblem of Alchemax.

Peter could not resist the urge to interact with the hologram, manipulating the interface with swift and calculated gestures. The holographic projections danced and shifted, revealing complex data visualizations and intricate scientific models.

Suddenly he remembered about the mice that Dr. Connors asked him to observe. As he took a few steps to the desk beside the table, his entire body froze.

A chilling sensation crawled up Peter's spine, sending a shiver through his entire body. The air around him grew still, and an inexplicable tension settled upon his shoulders, causing the fine hairs on his arms to stand on end.

In front, the glass where the mice were supposedly kept had been utterly destroyed. Shards of it lying on the floor.

Hesitantly, the brown-haired teen crept closer, his body instinctively lowered, bringing him closer to the disturbing scene that unfolded before him.

Carefully, he crouched down, allowing his gaze to sweep over the debris-strewn floor, his keen eyes scrutinizing every detail.

A tinge of alarm coursed through him as he spotted the telltale signs of crimson amidst the wreckage. Small, scattered blobs of blood, stark against the sterile environment, marked the aftermath of whatever had transpired.

There were no mice. Just, flesh and blood.

Instantly Peter facepalmed, groaning a little as he muttered softly.

"Why the fuck does this shit happen to me?"

*Thwip!!*

In the bustling metropolis of New York City, amidst the towering skyscrapers that kissed the clouds, a surreal scene unfolded.

A glistening, white, sticky substance stretched taut between two buildings, forming an intricate web-like structure that defied gravity. From the edge of one of the buildings, a figure descended gracefully, moving with a fluidity and agility that seemed otherworldly.

As the figure gracefully maneuvered down the vertical descent, the sticky string, a testament to their incredible abilities, propelled them back into the air. With an almost ethereal grace, the figure soared upward, defying the constraints of earthly limitations.

The figure's movements exuded a sense of confidence as if they were in perfect harmony with the urban landscape that surrounded them.

Under the brilliant rays of the sun, Spider-Woman emerged, her vibrant costume bathed in a resplendent glow.

Her suit, a mesmerizing blend of white, black, and pink, stood as a testament to her unique identity and unwavering resolve. The stark white sections contrasted with the sleek black fabric, while accents of vibrant pink added a touch of energy and flair.

With a gust of wind caressing her face, Spider-Woman soared through the expansive skies, her grip steady on a delicious burger clasped in one hand.

As the world blurred around her, her speed increased exponentially with every passing second, carried by an unparalleled momentum that defied conventional limits.

*Thwip!*

"Yahoooo~!!"

Spider-Woman yelled as she swung in the air, carefree and enjoying the swinging. She playfully mimicked the sound of soaring through the skies, adding an element of whimsy to her aerial acrobatics.

"You got me today, New York."

*TATATATATA!!!*

The helicopter hovered in midair, its blades slicing through the atmosphere with a distinct hum. From within, a reporter's voice resonated, amplified by the chopper's external speakers, carrying their urgent message to the surrounding police units and the wider public.

"Reporting Live from New York 1 Chopper," the reporter's voice echoed with a sense of urgency, their words laced with a gravity that demanded attention.

The city below became the backdrop to the unfolding crisis.

The reporter continued, their voice steady, relaying the shocking news that a heavy truck carrying a dangerous payload of plutonium had fallen victim to a hijacking.

*Thwip!*

Eating the last of the burger, Spider-Woman's voice could be heard for the birds that were flying.

"Alright, let's get to work!"

Taking another dive, it felt as if time slowed around her. Spider-Woman soared through the air, almost reaching the ground.

*Thwip!*

Her figure instantly ascended, twirling across the air like a ballerina. Her lithe form glided through the air, as if guided by an unseen choreographer and her limbs extended with fluid elegance, painting an ethereal picture against the backdrop of the cityscape.

*Thwip!* *Thwip!*

"HEYY ITS SPIDERWOMAN!!"

Nearby onlookers screamed in delight as they saw the hero swinging across buildings in. Spider-Woman swung through the air as she yelled at them.

"IT'S SPIDER-WOMAN!!"

*PEW PEW PEW PEW PEEE POOOO PEEE POOO*

The sound of screeching tires, blaring sirens, and the urgent commands of law enforcement officers echoed through the urban landscape.

As the sounds of the police chase grew more distinct, the tension in the air escalated. At that moment, Spider-Woman's keen senses absorbed the chaotic symphony below.

The flickering lights and the sounds of the police chase served as beacons, guiding her toward the heart of the unfolding crisis.

Atop the hood of the rampaging truck, a group of daring hijackers stood firm, undeterred by the mayhem they were causing.

Armed with a laser-like device or a similar cutting tool, their swift and precise movements left no doubt of their intentions.

With calculated expertise, they carved a hole into the truck's sturdy surface, an opening that beckoned them into its hidden depths.

While that was happening, besides the driver's seat a clear girlish voice sounded.

"Knock knock!"

The hijacker driver's eyes widened in astonishment as he glanced to his side. There, seated beside him, was a girl adorned in a distinctive costume,

"Spiderwom-"

Before he could say anything, a web landed on his face and his entire body, webbing the dude to the seat.

"Nope, nada. Wrong answer. It's Chicken."

Suddenly her spider senses rang. The world around her slowed down. Her heightened senses detected an imminent threat, sending a wave of tingling awareness pulsating through her.

"Oopsie."

The truck lost control as it swayed to the side, Gwen instinctively took control of the hijacked truck's steering wheel as it careened dangerously off course and smashed it in between two brick buildings than the bridge where many civilians scurried.

*BHAMMMM!!!!*

Fortunately, there was no damage to any civilians, even the hijacker driver had been saved due to an airbag.

Spider-Woman crept out of the window and jumped on top of the roof where the criminals were gathering the plutonium. Since it was a heavy truck not much damage had taken place.

"Fast! Fast! Load it all in the bag!" All of them were unbeknownst to the nimble woman that was staring at them as they committed multiple felonies.

She kept tapping on the dude who was speaking's shoulders but the guy refused to turn around, seemingly unaware. Depressed, she sat near a corner and began to draw imaginary circles.

Right then, a man screamed.

"Spider-woman!!!"

*TUTUTUTUTUN!!!*

MI6 gunshots could be heard as she dodged through them all. Broken out of her daze she sarcastically commented

"Finally someone got my name right, most forget the hyphen... but wow what a warm welcome."

She delivered a powerful kick straight to his face, sending him reeling backward. Before he could regain his bearings, she swiftly webbed him to the hood of the truck, effectively immobilizing him.

One of them grabbed his gun in his hand and began to open fire.

*TUTUTUTUTUTU!!!*

Spider-Woman instantly jumped inside the hole where the final hijacker was waiting for her. Right as he was about to open fire, Gwen's childish chuckle could be heard.

"Oh no, you don't."

*Thwip!- Thwip, thwips thwip!!*

His entire body was webbed. Grabbing the bag of Plutonium, Gwen crawled through a hole below, knowing that the hijackers outside were waiting to open fire and aiming at the hole above.

From below, where the wheels were, Gwen aimed her web-shooters at their feet and it took her less than a millisecond-

*Thwip!* *Thwip*

-to have their feet webbed. With a firm pull, the two lost their balance, sweeping on the ground like a mattress with the guns falling right on their faces.

"AARGHH!!!" The criminals screamed.

With a quick shot of webs, Spider-Woman webbed all of them together, waiting for the police to arrive and arrest them. Writing on a blank piece of paper, she stuck it to them while swaying her hips and vibing to a rock song.

[COURTESY OF YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD- Spider-Woman]

*Thwip*

With a confident smile on her face, Spider-Woman shot a web line that was firmly attached to a nearby building, launching herself into the air. As she swung gracefully across the sky, her acrobatic movements and the iconic sight of her soaring through the city drew the attention of both onlookers as they shot videos and the blaring police sirens below, staring agape.

*PEW PEW PEW PEW PEEEEE POOOO PEEEE POO!!!*

The police officers rushed out of the cars as they found the criminals webbed to the truck with a friendly spider-man note beside a bag filled with plutonium.

The police officer rushed to George Stacy as he spoke.

"Captain. We have found the suspects. They are not armed and have been immobilized by Spider-Woman. The Plutonium too has been recovered."

George nodded as he asked.

"What are the damages?"

The police officer shook her head.

"We are still in the process of finding that out. It's a rather lot."

George did not say anywhere and looked toward the sky where the hero-vigilante was swinging out of their view. Cussing slightly, he sighed.

"Late yet again."

Meanwhile, the person in question swung gracefully through the intricate web of buildings, in a perfect pose as a camera's click sound resounded, she wondered aloud.

"Can being Spider-Woman let me get a discount on the popcorn and champagne?"
