Greater Power, Greater Responsibility

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Hello dear viewers, long time no see. I have been absent for more than 2 years due to personal issues during covid and starting college/university. I am thankful to all of you for your support of this project. I would like to announce that I just got back to posting fan-fics and it is about anime/manga - Blue Lock. The name of the series is "What If Nagi Had The Biggest Ego" and it will be coming out in 2 formats, text, and video. Episode 1 is already out in the text version. Video versions of the "What If Nagi Had The Biggest Ego" episodes will be released on Fridays weekly, starting on the 7th of April!!!

A few days later, after that school fight Jack's hand started feeling better and he finally got used to his new name. He got a message from Harry, his best friend.

"Hi Peter. How is your hand? I guess you are happy that I saved your ass once again XD"

It turned out that Harry was the one who called the school principal when he saw that Flash and his friends were surrounding Peter. He always helped Peter in comics.

(2 weeks later)

Peter was still getting bullied at school by Flash and his friends. He was unable to do anything with that since he did not have any superpowers.

"This cannot continue going on as this" Peter thought in his head. "I do not want to spend my new life suffering like this again".

It was at that moment, when Peter realized that there is about half a year left till he gets his superpowers. So, he decided to learn how to defend himself and asked aunt May and uncle Ben for their permission to go on a martial arts section. Both of them agreed straight away.

(3 months later)

Autumn term ended and winter holidays started. Meanwhile, the school reports came in. Aunt May and Uncle Ben were very shocked by Peter's grades, he had an A* in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Mathematics, and A for other subjects.

Peter was one of the smartest kids at school. Although this was a different Peter Parker, he found school subjects easy, as he inherited the intelligence of original Peter Parker. It was like a piece of cake for him and he did not even study that hard.

However, he understood that he needed to widen his knowledge in different spheres, especially in science. Because he would need to invent lots of equipment, including his own suit and web-shooters.

That is why, he spends his whole holidays independently studying by using different sources, mainly books and science articles of famous specialists.

Jack was still getting used to being smart, as he was not used to being able to think that fast and solve different problems easily.

Then, the winter term was about to start. Peter felt a bit nervous as he knew that Flash and his friends were going to bully him again, which they did…

Peter opened his locker and was talking to Harry, while Flash crept from the back, pushed Peter and threw all of the books out of the locker. Peter's phone broke down as well, as it was lying on the top of the books. Peter's face became red, he was furious and has pointing right at Flash's eyes.

"What you gonna do about that nerd?" said Flash loudly on purpose. Everyone in the hallway was staring at them… "Look, his face is red. He is about to cry" said one of Flash's friends. Some people started laughing which made Peter feel even more awkward.

"Let's go Peter, leave these dumbasses alone" said Harry.

"Alright Peter, you can go away. We all already know that you are a coward with no balls" answered Flash.

Even more, people started laughing… Suddenly, Peter threw his backpack into Flash's face, which he did not see coming. Right after that, Peter sprinted and kicked Flash right in between his legs… He fell on his knees and found it difficult to breathe, while Peter came even closer and hit him in his face with a powerful uppercut… Flash was lying on the floor on his back, barely breathing… but Peter did not stop… after kicking him for a few more times, he made a series of punches right into Flash's face…

Flash's nose was bleeding and he was barely conscious, his friends were shocked and did not even attack Peter, as now they were the ones who were scared…

"Talk to me if these imbeciles will try to bully you" said Peter loudly. Peter could see the shock in people's faces, they were very surprised that Peter beat Flash, the strongest man in school single-handedly.

"PETER, PRINCIPAL WANTS TO SEE YOU!!!" said one of the teachers.

(Later that day)

Peter was in a car with uncle Ben, who already knew about the school fight from the principal.

"Why did you do that? You could've killed him! The principal told me that he has a serious brain concussion!" said uncle Ben angrily.

"I was defending myself" answered Peter.

"No, you were not! You were the one who started a fight."

"But he was humiliating me in front of the whole school…"

"And so you found a perfect opportunity to use your martial arts skills, did not you?" said Uncle Ben sarcastically.

"No, I just wanted to give him a lesson. He was bullying me for years and I could not handle that anymore!"

"But why didn't you stop when he was lying on the floor? He could not harm you at that point, but you continued the fight".

"Because… I wanted to frighten his friends. I thought if I show them how dangerous I can be, they will never bully me again".

"Is that why you wanted to do martial arts?" asked Uncle Ben calmly.

"…Yes…" said Peter quietly.

After a few minutes, they parked next to their home and went outside.

"Peter, you are a kind guy. I know that you never wanted to hurt anyone… but today you did. I am glad that now you are able to defend yourself, but you should remember something… with greater power, comes great responsibility."
