Spider-Man: Absolute Godspeed

This is the story of Eren Parker, the boy who became Spider-Man and saved the world from mass destruction using his spider-like powers and his speedy ability known as Godspeed (Think similar to Killua or the Flash). He was a menace to some, but a hero to many. This story is only found on Webnovel and RoyalRoad (SurelyNotEli) This story, unlike many others, has a point to it. It's not a power fantasy, harem, reincarnation novel where the point is to do cool stuff. I’m trying to have an actual story with actual characters with actual development with an ending that wraps everything up. Please, just please don't be an a-hole if you don't like it. Just leave if you don't. Thanks.

Wakanda Forever III

Spider-Man, holding the Trident of Neptune in his hands, turned around to face T'Challa and Shuri, retracting his mask before giving them a smile and a Wakandan salute, crossing his arms over his chest. The two Wakandans saluted back before Spider-Man's mask covered his face once more, blasting forward and decimating his robots with incredible speed using the Adamantium trident.

All anyone could see was the blue blur of Spider-Man dashing from Doombot to Doombot, slicing and dicing them all in seconds. He was faster, much faster, and the Trident of Neptune only made him that much more powerful due to its properties.

A couple of decommissioned Doombots turned into several.

Several turned into a dozen.

A dozen turned into dozens.

Dozens turned into hundreds.

It was incredible, the boy was unstoppable and he couldn't feel himself letting up in the slightest. The Wakandans, the Atlanteans, and the Future Foundation finally had a moment where they could breathe as they watched the boy made of lighting take out almost every single Doombot that remained, leaving nothing but a few stragglers and pieces of metal in his path.

The blue streak stopped, returning into the black and gold-wearing Spider-Man as he handed his trident back to Namor, feeling as if he didn't have any more use for it, for now at least. "Thanks, bro. This thing is mad OP by the way."

Namor, being a royal from the nation under the sea, was baffled. "Mad... OP?" Before Namor could say more, a portal opened up above the heroes startling them and prompting them all to look upward.

Spider-Man's Spider-Sense began to give him a weird feeling. It wasn't telling him to dodge an attack like it usually did, it was more so telling him to just run. Just get out of there. His body and sense wanted more than anything for him to run away as far as possible.

Doom was upon them.

With his arms crossed, Dr. Doom, wearing his green hooded cloak and metallic armor, floated through the purplish portal, finally revealing himself to the heroes. There were still a few Doombots running around, however, Dr. Doom snapped his fingers...

𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘱!

Immediately causing all of the remaining Doombots to explode, showcasing just how expendable they were to him. There was a brief silence as everyone, the Wakandan-Atlantean army that was down to but a few hundred, the Future Foundation, the two Black Panthers, and Namor, looked up at the man they'd been waiting for for the last two weeks, however, Spider-Man was ready to run his mouth due to his newfound confidence while simultaneously trying to curb his own fear.

"So you're Dr. Doom? Let me guess, another God-complex supervillain?" Spider-Man quipped.

Dr. Doom scoffed at the idea of it. "God complex? I 𝘸𝘢𝘴 a god once..." Doom proclaimed, causing Spider-Man to raise a brow, making one lens open wider than the other.

"Was?" Spider-Man asked. "What happened? Did you get kicked from Bible study?"

Dr. Doom didn't take too kindly to Spider-Man's mockery, though he didn't bother giving Spider-Man the pleasure of knowing he was getting under his skin. "No. I simply found it... Beneath me." Doom spoke confidently and proudly, looking directly into Spider-Man's soul with his cold eyes.

'That... was one of the hardest supervillain lines I've ever heard in my life...' Spider-Man admitted in his mind.

"Enough of gaudy proclamations, Victor. I'm ready to end this now." Johnny proclaimed, heating up his body as his flames erupted due to his irritation. He hated Doom more than anything else in the world. That man mistreated his sister years back when the two of them were a thing after Reed and Sue broke up briefly. Aside from the personal vendetta, the man was just despicable, having already been responsible for the deaths of countless warriors and civilians.

Dr. Doom landed on the ground delicately before extending both of his hands outward. "Go ahead, Johnny, do your worst. I shall remain unmoved." Doom challenged him, infuriating the hothead even more.

Doom placed both arms behind his back as Johnny Storm rose in the air before firing a powerful blast of fire, right down onto Dr. Doom like something straight out of a shonen anime. "Jesus..." Spider-Man whispered, seeing the attack that looked so powerful, Eren was sure it would melt Dr. Doom down into nothing more than flesh and scrap metal.

The massive, fiery beam attack lasted for a few seconds, completely covering Doom with flames hot enough to melt steel until Johnny was sure that Doom let his overconfidence destroy him. Johnny smiled before putting his arms down, allowing the flames and smoke to fade.

However... Doom was still standing in the same place, completely unharmed as a small shield cast by his magic blocked the attack and enveloped his body.

Next up was Ben Grimm, running toward Dr. Doom like a wrecking ball on the loose before delivering a flurry of punches. Dr. Doom kept his promise, blocking the Thing's punches with his hands while remaining in the exact same spot, unmoved. Dr. Doom wasn't just a master of the mystical arts and science, but he was highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat as well. This was child play for him.

This display silenced the crowd as they looked on with defeat in their eyes. If Ben couldn't move him, how could anyone?

The Thing is capable of lifting a hundred tons when at his full strength, yet his attacks were doing absolutely nothing to Doom as he swatted each strike away. However, Ben Grimm was determined, continuing to deliver an onslaught of punches as he shouted in frustration with each punch, yet, Dr. Doom didn't budge.

Using but a finger, Dr. Doom flicked the Thing in the forehead with an electrified hand, sending him flying until he came to a rolling stop up against a tree.

No one moved a muscle after seeing this, bringing Doom to a soft chuckle as he relished in his own power above godhood.

"As you can see, I am unmoved." Doom taunted before looking down at everyone else. "Would anyone else like to give it a go?"

He looked at Reed. "Reed? Would you like to try? Oh, that's right, even your 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳 is too weak to even imagine touching me." Doom looked over at Sue, bringing a chill down her body as she could tell his disgusting thoughts just by looking at the eyes behind his mask. "Still married to this weakling, Sue? To think you could've been the Queen of Latveria by my side... In due time, perhaps."

He then looked at Namor, who was still breathing heavily on the ground. He had picked up one of the water masks from his fallen comrades, but it could only do so much when it came to giving him his full strength. "And you, Aquatic Imbecile? Would you like to try your hand in hand-to-hand combat with me?" Dr. Doom received no response from that king, as he was all out of fuel. Doom clicked his tongue. "You look parched, my king. Hmm, what about you, King T'Challa? Princess? Feel free to try. Though, I do believe it'll take more than two Black Panthers to stop me."

Dr. Doom then extended two hands in front of him before lifting them up in the air, performing some sort of necromancy magic. Slowly, the Black Panthers of the past began to rise up from the ground, all wearing their unique Black Panther costumes and showing how the designs changed over the years.

Seeing their father broke both of the two living panthers. "Baba!" Shuri shouted, though her father's corpse ignored her.

"He can't hear you, Princess... shame." Dr.Doom said before closing his fist and crushing the Black Panther corpses come to life like pieces of paper, killing them a second time in an instant. "Even a hundred Black Panthers wouldn't be enough to stop me." Doom proclaimed, infuriating T'Challa. However, he knew he couldn't take this man one on one.

Again, no one moved a muscle.

His display intimidated them all, even Spider-Man was freaked out and he was at his full strength. If this man could remain unmoved after all of that, how could they even dream about hurting him? However, Spider-Man pushed those doubts to the side.

"We can take him." Spider-Man uttered as the aura around his body gleamed brightly, however, there was something different about it. It wasn't that same, warm hero's aura as before. It was cold and menacing, as were his eyes behind his lenses.

"Here, boy. Take it. I can no longer fight." Namor said, swallowing his pride and handing the trident to Spider-Man. Namor didn't understand the true ability of the trident, due to having just received it and the throne, but he saw how strong this trident made the boy and thought it would be better in his hands for the time being. He believed this was their only chance.

Spider-Man nodded, taking the trident from the king's hands and staring into Doom's smug gaze. Immediately, Godspeed energy began spiraling around the shaft of the weapon before breaking up into three spirals, one going around each prong of the trident.

"Go ahead, child. Move me." Doom taunted, almost certain that Spider-Man wouldn't do anything to harm him.

"I'll do more than move you." Spider-Man muttered before charging his body with Godspeed energy and dashing forward.

𝘡𝘻𝘻𝘵𝘵𝘵𝘵!

𝘽𝙊𝙊𝙈!

Spider-Man, glowing in his Ultimate Godspeed form with the Trident of Neptune in his hands, struck Dr. Doom in the chest, causing the sorcerer to place his hands on two of the trident's tips. Dr. Doom was definitely phased now, looking down at the hero with different eyes than before. Previously, Dr. Doom looked bored, but now, his eyes showed some signs of life as Spider-Man moved him.

It wasn't much, but as Spider-Man endeavored to stab Dr. Doom in the chest, Doom's feet were dragging along the dirt, leaving a trail in front of him as he was pushed back. "He's doing it..." Johnny storm said, looking on with awestruck eyes.

"Clobber 'em, kid..." Ben Grimm said under his breath.

The so-called man above godhood was finally shown to everyone to be movable by Wakanda's black and gold-clad hero from New York. Though Doom's feet only moved a few inches, he was moved. He wasn't invincible. It was inspiring, bringing all of the heroes to their feet and giving them all a second wind.

One by one, the heroes all stood together behind Spider-Man as he continued pushing Doom back with the trident.

"A formidable opponent." Doom uttered. "I believe we should keep our audience entertained to ensure no interruptions." Doom held onto a single prong of the trident before using his other hand to create a portal, allowing his army of Doombots that were somehow still coming, to enter the battle.

As the Doombots began pouring in, T'Challa started giving orders. "Namor, Shuri, Grimm, help Spider-Man!" He shouted before running behind Spider-Man to join the fight.

The rest of the fighters, including the army, fought alongside each other, destroying as many Doombots as they could, hoping the other five could defeat Doom in time.

"You're screwed now!" Spider-Man said with confidence before using his speed to sprint behind Doom, leaving an after-image where he once was before slamming the Trident of Neptune down on Doom from behind.

Doom, without even looking, blocked the trident with his forearm as T'Challa sprinted up to him, clawing at him with his Vibranium claws. With his other arm, Doom blocked this strike, only to find himself with his hands full as Shuri dashed forward, performing a flip kick right to Doom's jaw.

Immediately after Shuri's kick landed, the Thing struck Doom in the chest with a mighty punch to the chest, causing his eyes to dilate in pain. Now that Ben's attack was actually able to land, Doom felt pain.

Using both hands, Doom blocked the Thing's next strike, only to find himself getting slashed in the mask by T'Challa, leaving a massive claw mark and revealing part of Doom's scarred face underneath it.

At the same time, Spider-Man stabbed Dr. Doom in the back with Neptune's Trident, actually breaking the skin of the Latverian. "Ah!" Doom clamored before taking a kick to the face from Shuri and a powerful punch to the liver from Namor.

The five heroes were putting a number on him, surprising him with their sudden rush of attacks, however, he knew they were still no match for Doom!

"Enough!" Doom shouted before discharging electricity from his body, sending his attackers flying backward, however, due to his resistance to electricity, Spider-Man simply slid backward, still on his feet with the golden trident in his hands.

Doom levitated in the air and began firing magic blasts of different elements at the heroes. Doom scorched Namor with an enormous ball of fire, sending him to the ground as both Black Panthers lept up in the air toward him from opposite sides. Doom pointed his palms at both heroes before two shards of ice formed on each hand, shooting out toward both panthers and impaling them, though their wounds were luckily nonlethal.

The Thing began pulling a tree out from the ground, preparing to throw it at Dr. Doom, however, Doom simply rained lighting down on the tree and the hero, decommissioning him momentarily.

All that was left was Spider-Man, who was using his speed to dodge as Dr. Doom began firing different elements at the hero, trying to land anything he could. Even when he used artificial light magic, Spider-Man was still able to outrun it, though the magic was far from moving at actual light speed. Regardless of that fact, being able to outrun Doom's magic was absurd.

Combining his speed and webs, Spider-Man began shooting webs at the King of Latveria, attaching them to the ground and trees as he continued running circles around him. Doom was able to snap some of the webs using his superhuman strength, but due to Spider-Man's speed, the webs kept coming out faster than he could break them.

It was only a matter of time before Dr. Doom was suspended in the air against his own will, tied down by Spider-Man's webs. However, Doom was too powerful to be held down for long as the webs began to snap just like the others.

With no time to waste, Spider-Man lept into the air, kicking off the ground with Godspeed energy before pointing the Trident of Neptune down at Dr. Doom as if he were aiming a blast at the villain. Soon enough, water began to swirl around the prongs on the trident, shocking Namor and the rest of the heroes watching.

'Impossible... How has he mastered water manipulation without any sort of training... I can't even-' Namor was perplexed, upset, but astonished more than anything as he was about to bear witness to his weapon's true capabilities firsthand.

Namor, feeling no need to learn how to generate water due to having only ever spent his life in the ocean, never practiced this technique. He truly only knew how to use his trident as a physical weapon, occasionally shooting energy beams from it. To see it used to such an extent by a mere American outside was astonishing.

The water that was constructed on the prongs of the trident began to glow with Godspeed energy before Spider-Man released it all, making sure to talk shit before letting the attack fly. "Let's see who's unmovable after this, Doom!"

𝘞𝘖𝘖𝘚𝘏!

Spider-Man shot a concentrated cannon of electrified water at Dr. Doom, striking him directly in the chest and sending him flying into the dirt, making a crater around his body. Still holding the trident, Spider-Man aimed his web shooters down at Dr. Doom's wrists and ankles, tying him to the ground, and making him unmovable.

Doom began to scream in pain as the electrified water began cooking his skin from the inside of his armor. Spider-Man swore off killing long ago, but he wasn't even thinking about that this moment. He didn't view Doom as a man but as a monster. All that mattered to him at this point was taking this guy down, regardless of what happens to him.

Spider-Man continued to descend as the beam of electric water continued to push Dr. Doom into the ground until Spider-Man landed on top of him with one foot on his chest and the other on his throat. Gripping the trident tightly, Spider-Man lifted it high in the air, prepared to do what was necessary to take out the man capable of destroying the planet singlehandedly.

"Hah!" Spider-Man yelled, slamming the trident down toward Doom's face. Doom's eyes widened, seeing two prongs from the trident coming straight for them...

Only for the trident to be stopped by a familiar pink energy surrounding it. Spider-Man tried his best, but he couldn't push his weapon any further. He looked to the side, seeing Valeria Richards approaching him with her hands to her sides, both glowing with the same energy. "Valeria?" Spider-Man spoke in astonishment, having missed the part where she unlocked her abilities.

Spider-Man looked around to see everyone, including the Wakandan-Atlantean army and the Doombots, being held in place by the pink energy surrounding their entire bodies.

Valeria then lifted Spider-Man in the air, bringing him to the side and giving Dr. Doom some space to get back up.

She looked completely out of it as if her body was no more than a husk without a soul. Franklin was behind her, chasing after her and yelling at everyone. "Something is wrong with Valeria! She's acting like a robot! She won't stop!"

Dr. Doom got back on his feet, looking at the girl with a grotesque grin under his mask, his grin only growing wider when he heard the words he'd been waiting to hear from her in the last ten years.

"I am here, Father."
