3. Lesson no.1

The sun beams down on the master's head, this man was responsible for training the young students of the kingdom, to prepare them to become a mage, and for the spell casters guild, but he was mostly training them for the next level the Nova kingdom magic academy.

The Nova kingdom is the largest kingdom in the world, they are known for being a neutral kingdom, and that makes the Nova magic academy the greatest in all of Valusla.

Master Edwin was a blonde man with cuts and scar along his body. He had thin hair and blue eyes, his hands have seen better days, they were broken because of his past, so he could no longer be a mage, but he didn't quit, if he could not fight he would teach the next generation how to fight

Keane was also a teacher, he was a fine fighter in his prime he served in the dawn wars, but that time was long ago it was said that him and Thor fought back to back.

This year's students have a potential to be the strongest. Lelia Regina, is the youngest daughter of the king and queen she has an high IQ for he age, and shiny silver hair along with dawn topaz eyes she had so much potential her sisters had strong magic Lisa having life magic and Kotta had ice magic, her mom had a family wonder magic called gold magic she can turn things into gold, and her dad has a wonder magic called moonlight magic, he can create darkness and use the moon energy as a weapon, he can also create mini moons and channel its power whenever he wants.

Lelia still hasn't awakened her magic yet, but she could have magic even stronger then her dads master Edwin has his full faith in her.

Leon Coraggioso is a notable brave boy he was an orphan because of the aftermath of the dawn wars, the dawn wars only ended around 10 years ago Leon's parents served has high ranking members but they were killed in action Leon was found during the war, it was noble the the enemy tried to take him, but Leon's mother was able to protect him, Leon's dad saw this unfold he couldn't save his wife, but he could save his son, he had to Leon's father made the choice he made the death protection seal, that would last 9 days, ie gave it to his son, if anyone was to try to kill or harm Leon during this time they would die, this spell cost the life of Leon's father but it worked Leon was safe.

Leon was then raised by keane. The boy is very brave and strong for his age.

Sofu Tipa. She is an, neko, who comes from the Southern isles she is the granddaughter of keane, she has been trained her whole life, she's quick shes also mastered 50% of her beast form.

Gram Grano. Is a very skilled young boy he got his magic at an extremely young age he knows two types of base magic, he is not considered a Spiritoborn, be his magic was implanted in him.

He was in an abandoned castle when David found him a few years back, David also saw things that changed him forever, the things the Rune kingdom was doing the boy was welcomed into florsire.

Elena Morgan is from a race of angel people, she is very tomboyish, she was born and raised in this kingdom by her parents not much to say about her, she is very cunning though.

And then there's Moxie. She's the daughter of Tiga of the king's guard Moxie is very outgoing and very furious. Tiga is teaching Moxie combat styles whenever she has time off.

Last is Tyson Lupo, he is the grandson of Chum and brother of Byn Tyson has all the potential but he hasn't shown any magic power Tysons mom is also part of the wolf clan, giving him wolf blood, yet he hasn't shown one sign of magic power, he's blank.

Master Edwin walked into the small class room that held the students. Edwin smiled at the students as he saw them already all in the room.

"Ah everyone is already here today, good now I can check out your magic, now this is called a magic scope it can help kindle and see one's inner magic."

The kids were a bit confused but went with it.

"Oh let me go first" Leon said as he spoke up there was a true sparkle of charm in his eyes.

"Oh always eager Leon, but why don't we let someone else go first" Edwin said as he walked back and forth as he looked towards Sofu. he then nodded.

"Why don't you go first, Sofu," Edwin said.

Sofu would jump up after hearing her name.

"Oh me? I.. um.. Ok." Sofu said as she slowly stood up she walked over towards master Edwin and would softly look up at him. Edwin would then stick out the magic scope and it would turn bright and shake all around as it would attach to Sofu and shine all around and then drop to the ground. As sparks would tingle around she would slightly transform into her beast form.

"I see you have Keanes beast magic, so you have wonder magic, that's very good you have potential" Edwin said.

"Oh wonder magic, does that mean Sofu is super strong?" Leon said.

"She has potential," Edwin said.

"I do?" Sofu said as she blushed slightly, being a bit embarrassed.

"Beast magic is powerful; it can also help you enhance your beast form." Edwin said.

As this was happening a man walked in, he seemed very conventional, he seemed bland, he had thin black hair slicked back, no real notable features the man seemed normal. The man was an assistant teacher for Master Edwin, the man was a norborne named Felix.

"Sorry i'm late i got caught up getting more supplies" Felix said as Edwin would smile and nod

"Oh the materials for their weapons, ah good, your fine Felix my boy, i know lady Summer probably kept you" Felix would softly chuckle and nod as he placed down the supplies.

"You know me too well, now what have I missed?" Felix asked.

"Sofu has beast magic!" Leon shouted out

"Oh? Does she, that's amazing, I'm proud of you Sofu" Felix said as Sofu would hide herself as she was embarrassed, she didn't like being the center of attention.

"Now, Leon, let's see your magic type" Master Edwin said.

"Yes sir" Leon said as he walked up as Master Edwin placed the magic scope close to Leon it would then start to shine and sparkle cracks would twist and form in the magic scope armor would from and break for a second Edwin would look towards the scope and see it shatter and come back together as a shield. Master Edwin would also for the boy's future he saw ice, then the sun itself it was odd, but he had no idea what to make of it.

"I see protection magic, a nice type of magic for s boy like you it may not be wonder magic but its still strong" Edwin said

"Oh that's super cool, man I'm awesome" Leon said as he jumped up in excitement.

"Oh wow that has to be a cool type of magic" Moxie said

"You know it" Leon said as the others looked on

"Well not as cool a two types of magic but it's close" Gram said

"Oh wow a compliment from you Gram, it truly means a lot" Leon said as he chuckled.

"If you say so," Gram said.

"Enough now since we already know Gram's magic, I think Elena should go next," Edwin said. As Elena would stand up and walk over to Edwin, Master Edwin would then place the magic scope next to her. The scope would shine and twist as a bright light would burst and shine into the room and then twist back and surround Elena.

"Ah i see, wonder magic, Light magic that's a strong type of magic that most angels have."

"Hmm, Light magic is strong, still not as good as my creation and water magic but still it does suit someone like you" Gram said.

"Oh that was not a compliment but thank you i guess?" Elena said as she sighed

"You're not welcome," Gram said.

"Ugh once again enough now Moxie stepped up" Edwin said as Felix sat down and started taking notes and drawing the forms and magic and thinking how he could help the students with their magic. Moxie would then step forward and Edwin would place the magic scope next to her as he did so the earth itself would shake and twist as small rocks would fly up and then land next to Moxie.

"Ah earth magic how neat" Edwin said as moxie would sigh

"Great i have lame normal magic" Moxie said

"That's not true, all magic can be strong if used by a master mage," Edwin said.

"Well if you say so master" moxie said.

"Now the last student will be Tyson, come forth boy lets see your magic" Edwin said.

Tyson walks forward, shakes his head and sighs as the magic scope is placed next to him, at first nothing.

"Oh…. this can't be, it seems you have no m-" Edwin was stopped as the magic scope would fly up the scope would then attach to Tyson it would shake and crack open a darkness would come out of it and fill up the room as fire would start to burn.

"Oh no, get out everyone, the device is releasing too much power."

The device would start to explode as flames would surround Tyson.

"He has his dads magic, wait it can't be!"

Time would also slow as the scope would turn into a clock and then speed up and disappear before it exploded.

"Noooo that device cost me three paychecks" Felix yelled out.

"Oh so it's true come with me, boy" Edwin said as the room seemed to be fine.

Tyson and Edwin would then walk out of the room so Edwin could talk to the boy in private.

"My boy it is how i thought you have god magic, it was expected because of your dad" Edwin said

"You mean Hades?" Tyson said

"Yes, you mom is still unknown but with this relation that you have two types of god magic meaning you might have two gods for parents making you very rare indeed, you have Cronos time magic and hades hellflame, this makes you a god born, i suggest we don't tell the others." Edwin said

"I see, so i have strong magic" Tyson said

"Yes, now let's get back," Edwin said. As they walked back into the class room with everyone looking at Tyson.

"I see now everyone, it seems Tyson has some strong fire magic huh" Edwin said.

"Ha just fire magic oh well his mana most be strong"

Gram said as he would sigh.

"Oh now i forgot to mention there is a new student, he is a warborn named Jack Ringo" Edwin said as Felix walked out of the room to get Jack the young boy would walk in he was an elf with blonde hair and brown eyes he was rather buff and looked cocky.

"Howdy," the young boy said to everyone.

Everyone would start to chatter as Edwin would break up the chatter by saying

"Enough now we do have one assignment today, we shall split up into groups, group A will be myself along with Lelia, Leon, Elena, and Sofu. and group B is Felix, with Gram, Moxie Jack and Tyson. Group A will check out an upper cave, we need to get a shiny stone while group B needs to go into the woodlands to recover a special type of wood. Before that i will give everyone a loaner weapon, a simple balde"

Edwin said as he passed out all the simple swords and got everyone ready.

"I'm ready" Leon shouted

Once everyone was ready the groups would head out.

"Stay close" Felix said

"Yes sir" Tyson said

"If you say so" Gram said

"This should be pretty easy right?" Moxie asked.

"It seems that way" Jack said

Felix would smile as he looked at the young students doing something he could never do. He is so happy for them, it's tragic that he is a norborne.

The woodlands were deep with greenery and shades of trees blocking the outlines and coast. The trees were shaded with spiky pines and upright oak, but the tree they wanted was a silver coil copper tree, an extremely rare tree but super advanced to understand and forge it into a weapon.

"Well what does this tree look like?" Tyson asked

"It is a shade of silver tinted with copper sparks." Felix said

"My grandpa is a master forge mage, he has made many weapons so finding this tree with be easy follow the smell of copper, don't you smell it" Jack said

"You know what I think…. I don't" Gram said

"Haha, how funny," Jack said.

"Wait" Tyson said as he sniffed the air. He could feel and smell the tree nearby.

"What is it Tyson?" Felix asked.

"It's this the way" Tyson said as he walked towards where the tree was.

"Oh you found it?" Moxie said.

"You did no way" Gram said.

They would head right towards the tree as the woodlands were unknowingly trapped with foes, it was shocking that bandits were in the woodlands for the same reason but want they truly wanted it for was pure evil.

The four of them would arrive at the tree with Felix slowly starting to cut it.

"Oh this is it." Jack said.

"Huh, it is a cool tree," Gram said.

"So shiny" Moxie said.

As Felix was cutting at the tree the bandits would surround the group.

"Oh what is this some young magic brats and a magicless teacher oh man we hit the jackpot, well you now have to face the hidden valley bandits and me the leader Nox! Now just give up before I kill you, I can get some much gold for yall on the black market. So killing you might not be worth it." Nox said

" kids get behind me i may have no magic power but i will not allow these kids to get hurt so you better be willing to kill me, i will not back down" Felix said with pride

"Master Felix we are outnumbered we can not leave you" Jack said

" no we have to we will just get in the way" Moxie said

"Just go!" Felix said

"Hahaha bold and stupid oh well i will love killing you" Nox said as his arms turned into pure steel and sharpened into a blade.

"Sorry we have to go come on" Gram said as he and Moxie turned away and started running away as Tyson and Jack stayed to fight.

"No boys go you have to, that's a S ranked bandit" Felix said.

"Hmmm those two were smart for running but they are not fast enough get em boys" Nox said as he snapped his fingers and 4 bandits dashed and hurried to stop Moxie and Gram from fleeing. The bandits had slick thin blades which they were going to stick into Gram and Moxie, however Tyson and Jack were able to react fast enough.

Jack dashed backwards and was able to cut off two of the bandits they would both slam down on Jacks blade Jack was able to swift their feet and kick them back as they would slam down again but Jack blocked and swung and stabbed through one of the bandits the blood dropped down and started to sink into the ground as Jack backed up as the other two bandits turned to Tyson he was not the best with a sword but he was gonna try.

The two of them slashed and bashed towards Tyson the blades slammed down and hit Tyson in his shoulder as the blade landed in his shoulder Tyson would fall to the ground.

"No Tyson" Felix yelled as he turned to block the blades coming even closer. Felix had a black blade; it was different from other blades but it was not yet a legendary weapon.

Nox would get closer as he dashed at Felix slamming his arm Blade right into him Felix would fall to the ground as the blade stung like hell.

"Ha you have fallen so easily" Nox said as he was very cocky.

"Damn i have to go beyond to help master Felix, that's it i'll use form 1 tiger stance" Jack said as he shifted his weight and smiled as he dashed forward and started to spin with his blade he was fighting all four bandits at once.

He slashed and slammed his blade into them but he was outnumbered; they did land hits on him the blood would softly fall and paint the ground a nice shade of red.

Tyson was able to stand again; he was angry and hit with rage as Tyson stuck his blade through one of the bandits giving an opening to Jack as he finished off one bandit and then another, until Jack had taken out the 4 weaker bandits.

Gram and moxie would turn back and sigh

"They are fighting, we have to help" Moxie said

"I agree running is not my style"

Gram said as the two of them started to turn back.

"Damn that was nice, you are some strong brats, but this is just the start. I am the strongest and then there is Kelly" Nox said a stranger jumped down from the shadows and she blasted a shard of ice at Jack planning to kill him.

As the shard of ice spiked into a blade and went into strike Jack, Felix was able to stand; he slashed with his blade cutting the shard in half.

"No way how do you stand and that blade is what I thought it was an anti magic blade that can cut through magic. But why do you stand your a Norborne"

"I stand and fight because it's what I have to do. I have to stand so my students don't get hurt, you just don't understand!"

Felix stood as he turned to Nox he stood up right and held his blade tight refusing to go down even with the hole from the blade arms, he refused to back down.

"Then you shall die a fool" Nox said as he would push forward and stabbed Felix in the side and then slashed at his back and lastly stabbing him right in his left arm

Felix was getting torn open but he was not going to back down. He refused.

"Is that all you have do you think that can crush me, my pride will not let me lose, i simply refuse, even if you kill me i won't give up, they need me i may just be a man, but i won't let you beat me"

Felix yelled as he stood tall as he pushed his sword down trying to stab Nox but he missed.

"What do you call this!" nox yelled as he kicked felix down planning to slam his blade arms down to kill Felix.

Tyson and Jack managed to block the hit, saving the life of Felix. Kelly would jump up and start to charge up a lot of ice magic as the air shifted and changed it would freeze, the ice strike would spin and blast into a giant icicle heading right towards Tyson there was nothing he could do to stop the attack it seem like it was over for him, as a black blade swiped up protecting Tyson as Felix did his best to stand he smiled brightly as he saved Tyson he stood up tall.
