Act 1.

Shadows

The night was dark, the moon was out, the trees felt lifeless as a shadow dashed around it was life-like and seemed to be chasing someone. The man who was running was panting. He was tired and needed to rest but his footsteps kept getting swollen, as his steps felt heavy now the man had brown hair and blue eyes and he had to get the hell out of here.

"Get away from me you damn monster!"

The man yelled his voice and tone was shaky, he was sweaty, the man was kept in white and dirty robes, blood was scattered all over his robes, his beard was long and dirty, the man was unkempt and seemed to be a slubberdegullion. The shadow did not stop, it only accelerated. The shadow was life like it moved and shifted according to the moonlight. If you got close enough you could see the man within the shadow. He was a slim male slick back long hair, clear yellow eyes.

"I am not the monster kind sir. I am the one who was sent to capture you dead or alive. I do not care which it is, how about you?"

The shadow said softly like some kind of angel.

As the shadow spoke the man lost his footing falling into some kind of pit. The shadow would extend itself and grab the man. The man would let out a scream of pure fear.

"Damn you demon!"

The man said as the shadow shifted his eyes as he looked toward the moonlight and then down as he noticed someone else was there.

"It happens to be your lucky day I don't kill IN front of kids" the shadow said as he saw the small boy around 11 years old the shadow would then throw the man to the ground and then start to tie him up.

"Big brother, you were super cool" the kid said the shadow would sigh as the darkness around him would disappear.

"Ah Tyson you shouldn't be out here, let's get you back i have business to attend to" the shadow said as he started to look more like a human, the shadow is a young man named Bryn he is 21 years old, him and the young boy Tyson are brothers, they have the same dad but different moms, Tyson has black hair its short and well kept.

The man was still screaming he had happened to be a wanted man named curt he was only 26 years old, so what crime could he possibly have done, attempted murder, curt nearly killed the Queen of the Frolosire empire, the main human kingdom but its most known for being the kingdom of many allowing all kinds to be in the kingdom, humans, elves, orcs, nekos, oh nekos are a race of human cat like creatures they come off human at first but can change their appearance when ever to be more cat like they can also turn into cats. The kingdom allows many more, it is known to be open to all.

"Damn you little runner boy for the bitch whore Queen and that rat bastard of a king i will gut you!" curt yelled out in pure anger.

Bryn would sigh and pat Tyson on the head as he looked at Curt with death in his eyes.

"Tyson be a good boy and head home I need to talk to this man"

Bryn said softly and with care.

"Ok Bryn i wi-" as the young boy spoke a dagger would dash though the moonlight airheaded right for Tyson it would seem to hit the boy in the neck maybe killing him? But that didn't happen did it Bryn with his all seeing eye was able to react fast enough and stick his hand out letting the dagger go into his hand the blood would drip down and collapse on the the grass turning it crimson red, and soon damping into a coat of brown, in only a day the blood would be washed away. Bryn's eyes would shift up and down and turn to the trees then the large grass, nothing he then looks up toward a large tower near by nothing but dead bodies. The tower was silent. Bryn's eyes shift again up and down, still nothing, just seconds have passed, 1 2 3 4 5, nothing the air itself felt silent.

"Friend of yours?" Bryn asked

"No hell no i would never put a kid in danger I have standards" Curt said. Bryn would give Curt a cold side eye.

"Well then can you get Tyson back to town?" Bryn said.

"Yes, just untie me," Curt said. Bryn would scoff and look towards the darkness.

"You don't need your arms to run, just get him back and I will put in a good word for you" Bryn said as he would place a hand on Tyson. And pat the boy's head.

"Fine I will get the kid out of here, wish you would untie me, i'm just a Norborne, i have no magic like folk like you" Curt said as he would stand up and shift his body weight.

"Ok Tyson, I need you to get out of here go with Curt he is not that bad, well besides getting all out drunk and trying to take a piss on the Queen" Bryn said softly.

"Hey it was more than that i was gonna kill her" curt said.

Tyson would nod and look towards a slightly darker tree where the wood was torn off he noticed something that even Bryn didn't see, but somehow Tyson saw it.

"Don't lie to yourself curt" Bryn said. Tyson would then nervously cough and look at his brother.

"I guess if i have to but i can handle myself big brother" Tyson said as he would jump on to Curt's back, Curt would then take off.

"Stay safe," Bryn said. Tyson would shifted his eyes back to that tree

"Big brother, they are behind the tree," Tyson said as he pointed to the damaged tree. A slight gasp could be heard from the direction of the damaged tree. Bryn's eyes would shift to the tree. He saw the figure as a storm of a dozen daggers blasted towards Curt and Tyson.

"Duck down" Bryn yelled as his body shifted into a shadow as a shadow-like hand would extend from the ground and block the daggers. The figure from the tree would jump up and slam into the ground

The figure was a slim female human. She had brown hair and her face was blocked by a mask. She seemed to be very pale and looked like she was not well nourished.

"Leave my brother alone you pale witch" Bryn said. The figure would move close trying to get to Tyson and Curt however Bryn would step in front of her.

"You are not my target but i will gladly take you out" the figure said as she would slip her mask down, her face was partly burned she would sigh as her eyes where deep blue she held a few daggers in her left hand as she watched Bryn closely.

"Look i don't know why you want to hurt my brother but you are a fool if you think i'm going to let you, just stand down, with that tattoo, i know your part of the dark guild, if someone hired you this kingdom will just pay more, just let us know who hired you little girl" Bryn said coldly. The girl would shift her weight and step slowly as you could feel the air burn deep with passion

"You are wrong the dark guild itself wants the boy dead his mom needs the boy dead nothing personal, just stand down i am a Spirtoborn, I know much about you Bryn you are just a spellborn, you only have shadow magic it is strong but compare to my ancestors past we have spent years of years gaining our power, you only have one magic type i have 3, if we fight, i will win"

The girl said honestly. Bryn would scoff and his body was still covered in the darkness.

"You think too highly of yourself, look spellborn, Spell Plagued, Norborne, warborn, godborn, or even god touch, and whatever you are Spirtoborn? doesn't matter what you have it's how you use it, now what's your name sweetie '' Bryn said as he would sigh he didn't want to fight but if he had to he would.

"Well, I know you are strong but, it's more than just strength, oh and my name is Audrey Haney, now show me what you got" she said with a serious tone. Audrey would prepare her daggers as she dashed back and skipped towards a tree getting the high ground she would smirk. The daggers would then explode and send Bryn flying.

"Damn you what is this magic, is it wonder magic?" Bryn said as he planted his feet into the ground trying to stay up the shadows kept him safe from the explosion, but he still felt the pain.

"Yes its wonder magic, my family's it has been passed down to me, have two forms of wonder magic in fact, explosion and object control, it's how i move my daggers, now let's get this over with" Audrey said as she would throw more daggers thins time they would land into the thigh of Bryn the blade that landed into Bryn's thigh would explode causing the shadows to go off of Bryn and send Bryn into a tree. Bryn would struggle to stand up as he did Audrey would send even more daggers towards Bryn this time Bryn would catch would and send would back before it would explode with his fast reaction the explosion would cause a tree to fall over and also cause dust to fly up allowing for Bryn to move into get closer. Due to the rise of dust Audrey would not see Bryn move around behind her. Bryn would now recover fully from the explosion as the shadow has now recovered his body as he creates and extends a shadow created hand he uses it to hold Audrey tight so she can't do anything.

"Well now looks like I have you, best for you to give up" Bryn said as Audrey would growl and try her best to get free.

"You would think that but I'm not out just yet" Audrey said as she was able to slip down a dagger and explode it, causing Bryn to drop Audrey.

Bryn would fly back as he was stunned for a few seconds this gave Audrey time to keep the attack up she threw more daggers and they exploded Bryn was bleeding, the blood would turn the ground a crimson red.

The blood stained ground shakes as Bryn starts to stand up, but the attack is staying on as daggers surround Bryn. The moonlight turns bright and the darkness gets deeper. The shadows shake and twist as the dagger disappears as the darkness ate them, well it seemed like that as now the full light was gone it was dark bleak.

"What did you do!?" Audrey said as she was confused by what just happened. As the shadows started to tie her down, it now seemed that Bryn's body was covered by markings and odd words that shine bright.

"Well I was planting my shadow runes during this fight and even beforehand, I was just waiting for the moonlight to shift in my favor and it did." Bryn said. As the shadows would change into a cage and hold Audrey in place.

"Damn you, you know the dark guild would love to have you" Audrey said as she sighs.

"Yeah no" Bryn said as he caused the shadows to make Audrey pass out.

With this given time Curt would make it into the edge of the kingdom with tyson. Just as Bryn would be right behind him already.

"Man your slow" Bryn said as he was carrying Audrey

"Woah you beat her, well I did as you said well tried i had no idea you took her out so fast, and easily." curt said

"Fast yes, easy no now I'll tell the king and queen that you helped me take her down like a true hero" Bryn said. As he shifted his weight.

As he saw a figure come out from the castle, it was Lisa, the kingdom's eldest princess. She saw that Bryn was her, she looked worried for him as she snuck up and gave him a kiss as she would start to heal him with life magic

"You are bleeding Bryn... are you ok" Lisa said as she was about to cry for Bryn.

"Calm down, I'm fine, we had an issue with the dark guild, we are lucky Curt was here to help me in the fight" Bryn said as Curt would nod and smile lightly as he put Tyson down.

"I'm just glad you're ok," Lisa said as she hugged Bryn. Lisa was a really cute girl. She was the same age of Bryn 21 she had blonde hair tied back in a ponytail and bright blue eyes and sharp elf ears since she and her whole family are elves she also had a skinny slim build.

"I should give you two some space," Curt said as he turned away. Lisa would look down and notice Tyson and then sigh as she would pat his head.

"No need, we should head into the kingdom, it's way too late for Tyson to be up, and he's got magic school tomorrow. Lisa said as the four of them would start to walk into the kingdom.

As they walked in something was watching them from the shadows.

It was watching the whole time it seemed as if it would fall to the ground and create a shape that was a red looking man with horns.

"My lady Audrey failed, we can't go on with killing the king and queen now what's the game plan" the red demon said.

"Have no fear we are the dark guild I summoned you and your daughter just get it down, but wait, let some time pass, I need that man known as Bryn on our side, just give me time to trick him"

The female voice said as the demon would walk into the deep woods.

This is the world of Valusa, a world with magic. If you are born with magic you are known as a spellborn, if you are born with no magic power or even skill at all you are known as a norborne.

A spell plagued is someone cursed by magic. Yes they are born with magic but it acts more as a curse the reason is unknown but its tragic because a spell plagued person has more potential then a spellborn person but their magic is actually killing them as they use it.

A warborn is a person born with no magic but that's ok because they have other powers they are unbelievably strong their strength is enhanced by 100 percent and their reflexes as well, most of them are soldiers they are even better with weapon combat.

God touched is someone enhanced by a god they are chosen by one of the 14 gods.

God born is someone who is half god.

Spirtoborn is someone whose magic is passed down from their family. They also have more than one type of magic as well, they are very strong.

Now the magic types of this world are death magic. The act of using the dead in battle can make the dead fight for them and cause death to others.

Life magic is the magic of healing the user of this magic can recover others wounds

Flame magic is the use of fire they can create and control the fire they make however they can still get burned by it.

Ice magic, this one is simply the use of frozen objects they can create ice and control it.

Lighting magic is the use of lighting creation.

Water magic is the creation and use, control of water.

Earth magic is the use and creation of rocks, ground and all things earth.

Protective magic is a magic that uses defense over anything they magic objects and things can be used defensively they can also make barriers.

Poison creation magic is the creation of poison and control over it.

Acid magic is a strong version of poison creation magic, they turn their poison into acid that can melt and burn.

Shadow magic is one of the rarest magic types; it is the use of darkness moonlight and shadows the user can create control and kill with darkness, the user does need the moonlight to charge it up however.

Creation magic is the creation of objects and items.

Lastly wonder magic is the rarest type of magic it is, more or less a custom type of magic that is tied to the users family for the most part it's called wonder magic because it can really be anything.

Now the last info you will need is the 14 gods of this realm they are.

Hades the god of the underworld, and the hellflame, he is the first born of Cronos.

Cronos the god of time, he is known for being the first god.

Rieka, goddess of the wolves, is known as the wolf goddess. And or the wolf Queen.

Thor a hammer wielding god, associated with thunder and lighting, he is also the son of Odin and Freyja, which makes him even stronger since he's a second generation god

Zeus is the sky and thunder god, he is the son of Cronos and the current ruler of Mount Olympus that hails above the sky.

Poseidon the god over the sea, storms and earthquakes he is also one of the sons of Cronos.

Loki is known as the trickster god, he is also a son of Odin and Freyja, other than that not much is known about him.

Athena is the goddess of wisdom, and warfare, she is the shared god of war along with her twin brother Aries. Her father is Zeus.

Aries is one of the gods of war along with his twin sister Athena, his father is also Zeus, Aries is known to cause war wherever he goes.

Aphrodite is the goddess of sex and love and beauty; her father is also zeus.

Anubis is the protector of the underworld and the guide of the underworld.

Horus is the third and final god of war, he also protects the skies

Odin is known as the god of runes and wisdom and also the god of gods.

Freyja is known as the god over magic as she is one of the main gods who allowed humans to use magic she is also said to be the most beautiful woman of all.
