Spear Boy Sends A Message

(Cao Cao POV)

Augusta, Walburga, and Hanezu were all looking at me with spells ready, with Augusta, in particular, casting hundreds of spell circles all at once. While I simply spin my spear in my hand, all three of them look at me with a myriad of emotions showing on their faces.

Hanezu spoke first, "Spear User, I did not expect you to be here. Exactly how did you manage to hide your signature from the gods?" He was stalling, expecting the four fiends to show up as I simply stared at the man.

"When I heard that over two hundred people were kidnapped by a group of humans and fallen angels, did you not expect anyone to notice? Now, here's the thing: if they were people already part of Supernatural organizations, then I would understand power plays in all of that business. But you kidnapped hundreds of ignorant and unknowing people. But if I was being honest, I simply wanted to take this as a form of vacation." My response made them seethe in rage as I simply continued smiling.

"Vacation..You would treat our lives work as a mere vacation." Augusta says as she prepares her holy flames.

"Yes, I do. It's simply due to the fact that you both work for an organization seeking to control the world, learn all that there is to know regardless of consequences, or return those who believe themselves deserving to new positions. I believe you call it Khaos at this point. But really, what makes this necessary is the fact that you all could have used death row inmates or vagrants on the run from the law to which there are hundreds, but instead, no, you choose the easy way and kidnap hundreds of people off of a cruise liner. Could you be more obvious?" My disappointment seemingly made them confused as Walburga, who was readying her own spells, spoke.

"So what, you just want us to give them up? You really are stupid if you think we are going to do that without a fight. I cannot wait to burn you for all eternity." Truly, power had gone to this girl's head as she simply refused to accept the fact that they were not leaving this place alive.

Satanael is looking at me like Orochimaru would look at a Uchiha, and I can sense his desire for knowledge and power from here. Looking over at him, I ask, "So why are you here? Because from what I know about you, you could simply research under Azazel and have thousands of years to study. Why risk it over something like this?"

Satanael scoffs, saying, "Azazel would have us run ethical experiments that lead nowhere. I'm the one breaking ground here. His research into artificial sacred gears wouldn't even be half as complete as it was without my help, and I know what he would do if he found out what I did. Truly, the world has gone soft after thousands of years."

Augusta, who was about to use her balance breaker, then adds, "So then what? You would have morals and ethics control us? You are a truly naive youngster. But it doesn't matter now. Balance Breaker: Cross Of The Lord!" Her holy flames then formed a large giant wielding a cross on its back as hundreds of spells were fired at me, with Hanezu and Satanael trying to slash at me with Shinigami and light spears.

These spells would reduce any ultimate class to dust, and if they were a devil, it would be a painful end regardless of the power level other than super class. But all I can think of is how disappointing this is. I have learned all their spells as my archmage core had already learned and understood their magics.

And using mental acceleration in conjunction with Solomon's magic crest, I simply reach out my hand, and all the spells then converge onto my hand into a ball of pure mana.

Truly, the knowledge of the king of mages is a beautiful thing. Even if the magic systems are entirely different, magic is still magic, and the wavelengths relating to it are mostly the same. Besides, Solomon came from a time period when true magic was decently common.

It truly makes me realize how far I have come in my year here, and while my power increases are satisfying, they still keep some things in perspective. Some things can always be improved on, after all.

So as the power converged on my hand, the giant then slammed its cross where I stood, but I had already dodged and stood upon the arm of the giant, and as I looked into its eyes, I saw a part of the crown and cross that Incinerate Anthem came from.

It was a true crown of thorns that tried to purify anything it touched without bias or knowledge. It truly represented the sacrifice that the holy son made to burn away humanity's sins and corruption.

I could then see the woman from before as she stared at me with a sad look in her eye. I nodded to her, and she smiled slightly before disappearing. All of this happened within a couple of milliseconds as I was still in mental acceleration mode, and so I reached for the crown and, using my mastery of soul magics from Sephiroth Grail and life magics from the Golden Fleece to grasp the crown through the giant's head and ripped it out.

Augusta, seeing the crown, was left flabbergasted as Satanael looked ready to orgasm due to what he was seeing. The woman in question simply gasps, "How…How is this possible? I can't feel the crown anymore. What have you done?!" I simply floated back down to the ground and dispelled the flames.

"It's simple, you old crone. I used senjutsu to replace the pieces of your soul, and since your sacred gear was a holy item, the flames could not burn me. And besides, they were meant to burn the wicked and those who lacked faith." My statement makes Augusta shout out in denial.

"Then how?! You could not be a believer after everything you must have learned!" she then prepares hundreds of more spells along with Walburga as I simply doge all the blasts without even looking at them.

"That is the thing, being wicked is subjective as everything I've done throughout my life has been in self-defense, and one can only be Wicked when they themselves believe that they are. Also, the flames simply are not strong enough to harm me, and since I am not a devil, they are even less effective. And besides, don't you think the crown would look much better on me?" My question remained unanswered.

I then placed the crown on my head, and the flames surrounded me in an inferno of purple and now golden flames. Soon enough, the heat died down as the once thorny crown had become a sash over my arm with the shape of a cross on it. What was even better was that I knew what my Balance Breaker was.

The Judgement Of The Faithless. My balance breaker will simply burn away anything I deem unnecessary or unworthy.

I could see the same woman from before, but now she had a golden crown on her head and looked much more vibrant. As she walked around, her expression became more animated by the second she looked at them and gave me a small hug before disappearing again.

Smiling to myself, I deactivated the mental acceleration and looked at all of them as if they seemingly were questioning life. Hanezu was trying to leave, but I had already placed wards everywhere.

"If you're attempting to leave our little party, you're going to be very disappointed as I have already made it so that none of you are leaving unless I say so. So who wants to meet their gods first." I then spread my arms out in a welcoming gesture as the two witches tried yet again to blast me with more spells. I sighed and slapped them away.

Satanael Was trying to fly away by slamming his body through the ceiling, but I had already reinforced it, and he simply slammed into the force field and fell back to the ground. I looked at Hanezu and asked, "So, how do you wish to die?"

He looked at me with his katana in his hands as I simply used telekinesis to hold them all in place. Hanezu got into a battle stance and said, "If I am to die today, I die standing. Let my death be swift but honorable." I then simply chuckled, grabbed the katana, and went down the blade, snapping it to pieces bit by bit.

As I made it to the hilt, the look in his eyes showed nothing but fear and acceptance, but before he died, I asked him, "Did you hear of Shuri Himejima?" The name brings some recognition as he then says shakily.

"I knew her before her banishment, but if you are asking if I was involved, no, I was not, as I was already banished myself by then. While we were never friends, I wish I knew her." I nodded and, using my spear, stabbed him through the heart. As he looked at me, he reached over and gripped my shoulder but not before asking, "End them all for me; if not, just change them, if not for this but for them."

He then slipped, and his body went limp as I then burned it away with my Anthem flames. And then, as I looked to Satanael and wondered if I could gain another authority from him, he readied himself for battle as I approached him. I then formed my own light spear as we charged one another, and while he was a former Archangel, his skills definitely dulled over the years.

I could see multiple openings in his rhythm. As he attempted to thrust, I immediately parried and stabbed him through the leg and then proceeded to grip him by the neck and throw him into the other room as he reoriented himself, using his wings to stab into the ground I was already in front of him and using my light magics blasted him in the eyes leaving him disoriented with his eyes smoking.

"AHHHHHHH! You worthless human! I will take your head for this! If not me, then others shall do the same!" As he flailed around, trying to slash at me, I had already used my concealment and walked in circles around him.

"You see, that's what people always say before I kill them, that someone else stronger than themselves will avenge me. And while you are right, it never usually ends how people believe it does. It simply just leads to more bloodshed, but you are wrong about one thing." I then gripped him by his wings and began to pull them off one by one.

His screams echoed across the room as I continued, "What is happening here is being broadcast to the heads of nearly every single part of the fallen faction. Why do you think I was pinging my signature? Other than the most secure locations and the devils and angels, everyone is seeing this. Isn't that right, Azazel?" As I say this, I see the fallen leader looking at me with a mix of awe and utter suspicion.

"You see, Satanael, you should have just followed the basic rules, but no, you just had to be the disappointment that you always were. One of the first to fall not out of loyalty but out of necessity. At least the fall was necessary in your view, as you did not think that God would reveal all the information you desired. But what you refuse to understand is that there is simply information not worth looking into or understanding. So goodbye, and no one will miss you." I then gripped his head and ripped it off. Thankfully, my multiple barriers kept the blood from spraying on me.

I should invest in self-cleaning skills later as I may sometimes forget to use my cleaning magic.

I then threw the head through one of the portals I made, and I made sure the head landed right on Azazel's desk. After rubbing my hands together, I returned to the room where the two witches were, and I saw Walburga gripping Augusta in complete fear. I then looked at them both with my face blank out of pure apathy, the two looking ready to faint.

"Now, what to do with you two?" The question remained in the air as I stood in front of them.
