Monkey Problems

A few minutes later, after Batman had calmed everyone down somewhat, the Justice League was seated, except Batman who stood with me in his arms.

Everyone had shocked looks on their faces the second best were Superman and Wonder Woman. They were flushed and had their mouths slightly open. But Hawkgirl was up there too since her facemask made it seem like her eyes were about to pop out of her skull. Stewart just looked shell-shocked. Martian Manhunter had the smallest reaction with only some widening of his eyes.

The Flash on the other hand was the best by far as his head spun between me, Superman and Wonder Woman. His head honestly looked like a top spinning, "When did this happen? I never saw Wonder Woman pregnant. Oh, congratulations by the way!"

"We didn't…" Superman said.

"We never…" Wonder Woman said.

"I'm with Lois. I would never cheat on her." Superman said as he glared at Batman who didn't look perturbed by it at all.

"I have not found a male that I have found worthy. Until then, I am 'off the market' as they say. A cheater would never be a choice." Wonder Woman said affirming Superman's words with her own.

"Huh? Then how is he yours?" The Flash seeing the sincerity in their eyes, questioned the others.

"Can't you tell he was joking?" John Stewart questioned the Flash, as he pointed at Batman.

"What Bats? He was joking? No way how is that possible? It can't be, right? I thought the mystique, the gloom and doom was his trade, not practical jokes. That's my area of expertise." The Flash said.

"The only thing you are an expert at is being an idiot." Hawkgirl said as she got over her own reaction.

"Hey I resemble that remark. Wait, no that's not right." The Flash responded.

Batman broke in before the squabbling could go any further, "Now let me explain the reason for the emergency call I sent all of you." Batman pointed to a screen and a projection of the CADMIS facility and all the documents he found were on the side. "Earlier today I was searching for a fluctuation in a energy surge within the output of Gothem. Upon finding the location of the fluctuation I found a CADMIS base. It seems whatever they were doing went wrong or there was sabotage. From what I had gathered there was an experiment that was being done that needed an exceedingly huge amount of power to operate."

"How huge are we talking here? Gothem is a huge city so a large fluctuation isn't that uncommon right?" The Flash asked.

"The numbers said it was an output similar to what the whole of the United States produces on a yearly basis. Over ten years of it. That huge." Batman said as he answered the Flash's question.

"Holy crap. That is no joke. How did they contain that much power? What did they use to produce that much power in such a short amount of time without destroying the city?" The Flash asked.

"I have not found the source of the energy but I am exploring the possible places that could produce something similar and haven't found anything yet. Finding the location, I investigated and found this baby at the location, but no other personnel. I do not know what happened but something went wrong and he was left behind. I scavenged what information I could from the base. It seems he was the experiment." Batman said looking down at me before placing me in my crib.

"How could he be the experiment? How could he survive that amount of energy? What exactly is he?" Asked Superman with a concerned look on his face.

"That is where things get…scary." Batman said.

Hearing Batman the spook in the dark say something is scary this made almost everyone there tremble a little. If Batman is scared of what this child is then what is he?

They all stared at me. So I did what any cute baby would I smiled giggled and waved my hands at the group. Haha, that did the trick they all seem to have calmed down some.

"From what I have found and pieced together he is the final product of DNA splicing of multiple different DNA genomes of multiple different species. His designation at the CADMIS labs was: BETA, RHO, OMEGA, LAMDA, Y-Chrome, or BROLY for short. He is the final creation of a doctor even I have not heard any news of. He was created from gorilla, orangutan, monkey and baboon, cells this represents the BETA DNA used. RHO stood for the Ivo absorption cells CADMIS stole. Y-Chrome stands for the human subject that was used as the base. The worst thing about this is that the human they used was actually the oldest living werewolf in the world."

"Wait, wait, wait. Werewolf? You mean scary stories Dracula, the Werewolf and Frankenstein's monster. That werewolf? He can't be real can he?" John Stewart asked Batman.

"We have two aliens, a demigoddess, a meta-human, and a person who gains power from a ring. It is not so much of a stretch to think that other things from legend and myth are real. From my investigation on him the Alpha is actually even older than that. I don't know how old he is but he seemed to have been around when the pyramids were being built from my investigations. Yes and he is very real I had a run in with him at one point there was a vampire problem in Gothem." Batman said seriously.

Everyone was shocked at this news.

"We will come back to the fact that Dracula and the werewolf are real in a bit first tell us the other designation and who they are from." Hawkgirl said, as her interest was peaked at the mention of the pyramids.

Martian Manhunter said, "Omega stands for Superman and Lamda stands for Wonder Woman."

Everyone was silent once again.

"Kryptonian cells were designated Omega due to Superman's threat level to CADMIS. Lamda stands for divine human DNA. Wonder Woman is a descendant of the Olympian gods so she has some divine power with in her." Batman hammered the last nail of the conference. "Now the question I leave to everyone here is; what do we do now?"

"What do mean what do we do with him?" The Flash asks Batman.

"What I mean is do we deal with the threat right now? Or do we end it? Do we contain him for the rest of his life? This baby represents a threat that none of us can conceive. He is an unknown that has the DNA of the strongest alien known to humanity as well as the divine strength of gods plus some unknown shape shifting powers. As much trouble as I have faced up to this point as Batman, I am honestly at a loss as of what to do." Batman says somewhat dejectedly.

"How can you end the threat? You don't mean…" The Flash says not able to finish his sentence. "Woah, woah, woah, how did you come to that conclusion. Aren't you always going on about not killing? How can you even think that? He is just a baby. He is no threat to us."

"He isn't now but he could be in the future. There has been no situation like this one. We have never faced such a dangerous threat. Since he is the first then in the future there is likely to be someone or something similar. How we decide to deal with this child will affect our future." Batman says in a monotone voice.

"But he isn't evil. He is just a baby. He isn't controlled by CAMDIS, right? If he is you wouldn't have brought him here. If that is the case why doesn't the League raise him?" John Stewart questions.

"I was just trying to find a solution. Also I never meant we would kill him. Besides we don't know what he is capable of so the best place for him would be with us. We must be ready though because he could easily become the most dangerous threat to us in the future if we go down this path." Batman states.

"Batman is right. I am not sure how I feel about this child having my DNA but I know for certain that if we do not raise him then the future we all work for will be for nothing. Just because he was created by CADMIS does not mean he is evil. Though I will still need time to figure this out. I vote for keeping him here so we can watch over him." Superman says.

Batman and Martian Manhunter note that Superman did not say anything about caring for the baby, just raising him.

"I am in the same boat as Superman. I still feel uneasy knowing that another has my DNA. But if we turn him away now then he will likely come back to affect us. We should care for this baby. Though I will have to ask my mother about what it means to be a mother." Wonder Woman says the last sentence almost under her breath.

"I do not suggest that you tell your mother of this child as it could cause immense trouble should she decide to come get him for whatever reason." Batman says to Wonder Woman who stares at Batman for a few moments and nods.

Wonder Woman knew that her mother would be furious to know a child that was not conceived by Dianna would walk the world and she would seek to destroy him.

"I'm all for taking care of the little guy." The Flash says as he appears before my crib and lifts me up.

"I also agree that we should be the ones to take care of him. There are too many other people and villains who would turn him against us if we did not care for him." Green Lantern said.

"I have no problems taking care of this child. First I will need to know how to raise a human child." Martian Manhunter said.

"It seems we are in consensus to take care of the child but how will we care for him? Will he stay with one of us or do we plan on having one of us with him at all times here at the watchtower? If we do that won't we lose a person on the team?" Hawkgirl said to the group.

"Since we don't know his powers it would be best if we cared for him here or at a secluded location. Until we know what he is capable of we should keep him far away from populated locations. I can supply a location. For the personnel problem I have been investigating some other possible League additions that we can decide on here and now." Batman states to the group.

The group goes through a list of heroes they think would do well in the League. One such person was Aquaman the future king of the seas. Who also happens to be a distant relation to Dianna. He had not learned of his heratitage yet and he looked excactly like Jason Momoa who played him in the films of the early 21st century.

The second was Captain Marvel who would be a massive strength increase for the League. He looked similar to Superman save for a more broad chest and a more square head. His powers were also of interest to Wonder Woman who had wondered if the gods had been the only ones or their alter egos were still around. She planned to find out now that Shazam was going to be a part of the Justice League.

Third was Green Arrow who was a hero would do well to even out the team. He was suggest by the Flash in fact. It seems that the Flash was also similar to the TV show and had his own group who helped him on his missions. Green Arrow had a background similar to Batman plus he had a larger support group who would play a role in the future. He looked exactly like the actor from the Arrow TV show just quite a bit taller.

Fourth was Doctor Fate who appeared in New Orleans and started fighting the villains there. He was found with Constantine who had been around New Orleans searching for a demon who escaped hell with the help of Doctor Fat he sent the demon back to hell. His powers would be used to fight the magic side of the villains they faced constantly.

There was a unanimous decision to add these four to the Justice League. Now they would have a much wider reach with more hands all the while they would be able to raise me.

Well this is good I seem to have sent to one of the DC universes that had a combination of the TV, movie and cartoon story lines. From the look of the watchtower it seems this is the first version from the cartoon. If that was right then this had a massive laser cannon weapon that would later be commandeered by the super villains. If I was right then they would then change over to the asteroid base later on after this watchtower was destroyed.

Man I forgot how dangerous the DC universe was. If I want to survive and save people with my knowledge then I will have to become a true powerhouse. One that can stand toe-to-toe with the likes of Darkside, Lobo, Brainiac, and Doomsday. I will never know what threat will be upon me until it is too late unless I integrate myself into the Justice League and later on the Young Justice team.

The only way I can see that happening is if I am able to control my rage as the legendary saiyan. If I don't I will become one of the threats I wish to face.

After the additions were decided they needed to find the right combination of League members who would go to ask these new prospective members to join. Batman was chosen for Doctor Fate, Hawkgirl would go with him to ask as well. Wonder Woman would go with Green Lantern to ask Arthur Curri aka Aquaman. Superman and Martian Manhunter would go to ask Shazam to join the League. Leaving Flash to ask Green Arrow to join the Justice League. They would do this the next few days.

The new decision on who would look after me and where I would be housed was brought up. Batman listed out a few locations that would be out of the way and had enough tech and medical equipment that would be able to examine me through out the time I stayed there. Superman also suggested that at some point they bring me to their own families to give me some social interaction outside of the League. Dianna was silent on the matter since she did not know what to do since this was such an unexpected situation.

The Flash who had been carrying me around the council room walked over to the balcony that looked out into space. Much like ancient times when men sailed the seas, space was a dangerous place. A place full of beauty and death. Even more so in this universe. As we looked out into the emptiness of space I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

Turning my head to look I saw the moon.

Badum.

Oh, shit this isn't good…

"Hey little guy you see that?" Flash says to me as he points me towards the moon. "That is the moon. For some reason I feel like something bad is about to happen." Pausing a moment the Flash called back to Batman, "Hey Bats you said that some of his DNA is the werewolf's right?"

"Yes he has werewolf DNA. Why?" Batman asked.

"Do you think...by any chance...that the thing about the moon causing the werewolf to change has any merit?" The Flash asks.

Batman's eyes widened before he rushed to the Flash's side. "Oh, no. I didn't think the moon would affect him so early in his development. Quick we need to get him out of here."

My body was wriggling in the Flash's arms. My wriggling became almost too much for the hero to handle.

"What's going on?" The others called out.

"The baby is changing after seeing the moon. I don't know what this means for him. I didn't think him being a baby would have any merit to the transformation. I thought he would need to grow up before he could change. We need to get him somewhere he can't see the moon. Everyone to the transporter before he fully changes!" Batman called to the League members.

The Flash attempts to start toward the teleportation pad but before he can make it very far my body thrashes out of his arms. As I fall to the floor my body starts to transform into the form that many in the Dragonball universe dreaded.

The Oozarus transformation. Otherwise known as the Great Ape.

I try to hold onto my consciousness but am having a hard time doing so. Even with my training from my previous life the rage I feel is unlike anything I have ever felt before. The rage was so unexpected that I could not make any headway in dealing with it even with my training. If I had been prepared for the transformation I believe I would have been able to control it. Maybe.

I do my best with the child like body to control the raging energy and rage that flows through my body. I seem to have entered the beginning half of the transformation if the gasps of the League members are any indication. I am succumbing to the rage and the only thing I can think of is to look at Martian Manhunter and scream in my mind at him, "Take me to the desert!" I sent all my thoughts on what the transformation meant and what it would entail.

I could not articulate anything else as my mind was swallowed by the transformation.

Martian Manhunter has met few people who could direct thoughts into his mind. In all his long years he has met only a handful of people who were able to do so. Yet this is the first time that he has met one so young who was able to send such clear thoughts toward him. He was dazed for a short moment before he called out to the League, "We must take him to the desert! His transformation is unlike the werewolf's and will be a much larger threat. We must take him to a unpopulated location!"

Batman looks to Martian Manhunter with a question on his face.

"His DNA seems to have given him a residual understanding of what is to come. I do not know more than this. But there was only utter certainty in the thoughts sent to me." Martian Manhunter says as he rushes to the teleportation pad control panel. He quickly inputted the commands to send them to the Shari desert. "Superman, Wonder Woman grab him and bring him to the teleportation pad."

Though they had many questions they obliged quickly. They rushed to the transforming baby and grabbed him by his now hairy arms. He was now the size of a normal human. With each grabbing his arms they tried to carry him to the teleportation pad. They were both shocked by the strength that the baby held in his transformed state. Even though they could easily handle this amount of strength it was still unfathomable that a baby could hold this much power.

What they didn't know is that the transformation was not finished. Not by a long shot.

What made this transformation different from Goku's transformation was the fact Broly was the legendary saiyan. This was a massive gap between them, that ultimately meant that the great ape transformation was going to be larger and far stronger than Goku's. Even when Vegeta was facing Goku on earth he never had the same battle power as Broly. Even with his transformation he eventually lost to Goku's Kio-ken. But Broly had the physic and battle power of the legendary saiyan that was more powerful than Vegeta when he first fought Goku--as a baby.

The trio made it to the teleportation pad where Green Lantern, Hawkgirl and the Flash stood ready to do what they needed to keep him from hurting others. Batman followed with Martian Manhunter who finished putting in the directions.

They teleported.
