Daily Morning Walk

Morning light shone brightly on the entire Neo Tokyo City. Busy activities almost filled the city and sidewalks were occupied by a variety of people with different kinds of activities being initiated for this morning.

Even the road became an arena for a crowd of electric vehicles headed forward from two opposite roads. Aside from Yellow Taxi with a black background screen sat on the top part and announced a neon green sign that said "FULL" towards the surrounding, different types of cars; sports cars with different striking color, daily cars such as Sedans, Jeeps, minibusses shaped cars chose the color schemes were often shown either white or black, and lastly different types of motorcycles.

The busy morning continued to reveal more actors for the next show that was specifically located in the sky. The next show was about a flying Superhero who ventured into the sky above.

It was a silver armored man with the rounded blue holographic color located from the chest until his stomach. His helmet was covered by silver armor that only stuck on the back part. Furthermore, his face was painted by cloudy white energy trapped inside a container, stuck on his face.

Red menacing eyes shined on the cloudy face and his silver boots carried him in the air, firing a group of blue sparkles. As The Silver Armored Man headed forwards a humongous trapezoid building watched over him from the other side that had a large TV screen.

The TV screen projected a video about a short-haired woman with a red blazer, who sat on the wide white table and glared up in a straight line. Below her body, there was a thick whiteboard labeled with a word that said, "Gazer Man unleashed his rampage on the Wakaba store". Corner left foretold the time which was "07.30" and beneath the giant border, there was a moving text that said, "Civilians had been evacuated in safety from Gazer Man's Terror".

As she was spreading the news to citizens below who gazed upon the screen, her parts were cut up and a presentation about Gazer Man, a grass green reptilian skin guy who had one yellow eye and six other tendrils placed on his head. Each of the weird criminal tendrils had the same yellow eyes and right now was trapped by a circle of armored policemen.

The armored policemen members had a rifle pointed at Gazer Man and even some of them lifted a holographic shield in the shape of a door. As the news continued, The Armor Man passed by them and people below started to stare at him. A mixture of happiness and gratitude was expressed to him by the majority of the crowd below.

A group of girls stood in front of the mini building which had a holographic brownish bag above and neon grey writing that said ``TOMO", marking the middle part of the bags, getting out their hysteria when Zero passed by them. One of the girls managed to take a picture with her pink phone and showed it to the others.

As Zero passed by many buildings with his roaring lighting speed, he lowered his head and caught sight of two high schoolers on the sidewalk. One had short, straight black hair, a boy and the other one was long black hair, a girl.

The High Schoolers wore matching clothes: blue blazers with a white petal logo bloomed on their pocket, barely covering their cotton white uniforms. But, the bottom part had a different type with the boy wearing long greyish pants and the girl wearing a greyish mini skirt with brown shoes and black knee socks.

"Hatoshi…...I'm sorry that I was late… I had to do my internship at Heiwa Cafe yesterday..." the girl apologized.

"Don't worry about it, Yuna." Hatoshi replied with a calming tone. "Besides, it's still around seven and class starts around eight.

"Hmmmm….." she hummed. "You have a point."

Yuna gazed with a warmful smile and Hatoshi threw his attention away from her with a bright red face of embracement appeared. Moreover, the schoolboy began to let out a snicker expression on her.

They continued to head towards the square tube-like building with a steel roof shielding the outside view. Wide glass doors guarded the front view where it presented a slideshow that featured the Yukari Sweat energy drink, the background behind the bottled drink had a coat of sky blue.

"Eh...Hatoshi." Yuna asked in a polite tone. "How's your superhero drawing, progress."

Hatoshi giggled for a moment. A confident smirk from him appeared in her eyes.

"It's already done, Yuna," Hatoshi replied with a confident tone.

"Wow, that's amazing, Hatoshi''. Yuna praised with a cheerful tone and followed with a hyped-up voice, "I thought you were still in progress because you're not drawing only one but five figures."

"Maybe, I just really like drawing Superheroes". Hatoshi exclaimed with an unsure voice and explained with a concluding tone, "So, that's why five different designs of superheroes is a piece of cake for me."

"Don't get too cocky," Yuna said irritatedly.

Hatoshi reacted to the comment by picking a little bothersome face before an acceptance giggle arrived on him. Then, he closed the window on his eyes for a short period of time and proceeded to lock a stare at Yuna.

"I know, I know". Hatoshi exclaimed

As high schoolers were in front of their destination, a particular sound rang out from up above. They stopped walking and immediately looked up and found the Silver Man slowly descending, landing in front of them.

Calm wind originated from the landing whiffed around The High Schoolers as their hair flowed with the wind. The Silver Man's feet touched the ground and he opened wide welcoming arms.

'Helloooooooooo." The Silver Man greeted with a stoic robotic voice.

"Hello too, Nathan or should I say, Z-Z-Zero," Hatoshi replied stutteringly.

Zero's metal hands patted gently on Hatoshi's shoulder and rubbed it a bit. His eyes met with The high school boy's face who fell down into confusion on The Metal Man recent appearance.

"Call me Zero for this period of time." Zero's voice changed into a charming young man.

"S-sorry about that." Hatoshi apologized and he continued. "Interacting with Superhero as a close friend is not a-"

Zero took his hands from Hatoshi's shoulder while Yuna had been watching their interaction and giggled.

"Hey Hatoshi", She called out to the boy with an excited tone, "Looks like it's a lucky day for meeting a real superhero".

Zero released a peal of small laughter towards the high schoolers. Some people from the other side of the roads shot their wandering attention on them. Hatoshi got up his stared towards Zero by grabbing confidence that was placed in his eyes.

"Yup especially with the one who somehow resembles….a villain". Hatoshi mocked with a happy tone.

"Haha...your joke is 60%..funny." Zero bickered.

Yuna locked eyes towards Zero as she was ready to sign in the conversation between Hatoshi and Zero.

"So...Zero, how's...your experience in Neo Tokyo City". Yuna started a question with a polite tone.

"It's 90 % great". Zero answered with a relaxed tone, "However, there was one drawback to doing this duty which was I only did it for The Nippon Carnival temporary replacement."

"That...looks pretty rough because you did heroic acts in more than one country."

Zero got into a paused state with his head looking down onto the high schoolers. Unbeknownst to three of them, especially the perception of the right hallway, a meteor was burned by flame came by and faster than even lightspeed.

Nobody was alarmed by the meteor sighting. Even the ongoing conversation members couldn't grasp the unknown and yet, very quick presence or even the glimpse of it's presence.

"Actually, tiredness can only be caused by your mindset". Zero chillingly countered, "From the information, I gather, being a Superhero is basically protecting every place that exists in this universe."

"It's kinda true, Yuna." Hatoshi added with an enthusiastic tone, "Superheroes will always be ready to do their job anywhere and anytime."

Yuna nodded her head admittedly and glared a joyful look towards her close partner, Hatoshi. While Zero who was still standing in the conversation got kicked by realization with red eyes going up widely.

"Apology, I must leave right now to stop Gazerman" Zero apologized in a deep regretful tone,

The rocket boots lifted up his floating metal body with ease and Zero was ready to touch the sky above. He paired the two fingers before placing them on the forehead. Afterward, he released it at the same time as rocket boots omitted a blue sparkle.

"Goodbye, high schoolers! I wish you good luck." Zero said in a happy tone.

"Goodbye too, Zero," Hatoshi replied in a kindful tone.

Yuna and Hatoshi waved goodbye to Zero as he launched up into the air like a rocket. After his presence became further, they turned away.

"He seems happy here, right?" Yuna guessed in cheerful

"Perhaps so. Hatoshi countered in a pitty tone, "Ozmonians rarely showed their true emotion since they were literally sentient robots who just focused on their mission."

"I see, I see."

They both turned back and continued their walk to the terminal. As they took around two or more steps ahead, a frail old man who wore a tidy black blazer and long curly hair appeared. A wooden stick that he held carried the very back that was about to go down anytime and legs that were crumbly shaken.

The old man looked on the street across and his struggling feet took only a little step further. Pettiness shone on the high schooler's face and Hatoshi glanced at Yuna with a confident smile.

"Since we had been talking about Superheroes or even actually met them". Hatoshi spoke with a comforting tone before he let out a question, "Can I have time to help The Old Man?"

"It's okay," Yuna replied with an impressed tone.

Hatoshi ran to the old man and his polite hand landed on his shoulder. Breath of shock was out from the old man and glared on the boy.

"Excuse me, may I help you to cross the street"? Hatoshi politely asked

"I am very pleased with that". The old man said with a raspy voice.

Yuna watched on Hatoshi who walked at the same pace as the old man and headed to the sidewalk across and a White Sedan car with a blue line on the rear, passed them going at Mach speed on the border between two sidewalks.

Hatoshi and The Old Man took their chances on the other sidewalks when the road was completely safe from any car's presence. A couple of seconds later, they had made it across to the other side of the road. The Old Man gave a look of gratitude towards him.

"Thank you, Thank you, kid, I hope you had a good future". The Old Man exclaimed.

"You're welcome too, sir". Hatoshi replied in a little bit embarrassed.

They both parted away and waved their farewell to one another. The Old man watched happily as Hatoshi joined Yuna's side once again and continued their journey to the awaited Terminal.

"This boy could potentially be a suitable host for our power". The Old Man murmured with a distorted voice.

The Old man's pupils torched a flaming fireball that danced left to right. Therefore, his presence vanished faster than the blink of an eye, as if the evidence of his existence never occurred.
