"Mandy, move my 9 a.m. to 5, and my 6 to 6:30." I strutted down the hall in my Louis Vuitton black booties.

"Yes, ma'am." Mandy, my intern assistant answered.  "Mr. Douvall is in your office."

I halted, "His father?"

"No, I'm sorry. Erin, your fiancee." She corrected.

"Well then, go move the meetings." I growled at her and she scurried off.

I pushed open the large mahogany door of my office to see my handsome loving fiancee, and my cold hearted adoring father.

"Well, if it isn't my two favorite men in all of the city." I smiled at them.

"Well, I've got an 11:30 in Berlin. I will see you both in LA for the upcoming holidays." my father said.

"Of course. Its only in a few weeks, dad." I said.

"Still, your wedding is a momentous occasion. Along with you succeeding me in the company." he said.

"I know and the LA branch is where you started it all." I said. "But don't leave Berlin waiting, go. We'll see you in a few weeks."

As my father left, Erin pulled me into a deep longing kiss.

"Well that's what happens when you do a sixth month movie in Europe, without me." I laughed as we broke for air.

"What can I say babe? The longer away, the more I miss you." he nuzzled into the crook of my neck.

"Well, when's the premiere?" I asked him.

"Before Christmas, and we'll go together."

"Like when before. I've got a huge deal to close in New Orleans before I head to LA, so really I'm cutting our holiday plans really short." I tried to explain.

"Well, I know how much business means to you and that the LA takeover thing is big time stuff, so you finish that up and then we'll see it together, private viewing." He said.

"No, don't miss your premiere. I'll just see it when it comes out down there." I insisted.

"Alright, but when you get to LA, we're watching it together no negotiating." He said.

"Deal." I quickly kissed him. "Now, I have a meeting with a construction company in twenty."

"Well then, you go take over the world and I'll see you in LA in..."

"A month, no later. I promise." I kissed him again and headed to my meeting.
