Chapter 25: Angel’s Troubles
Artreus saw the relationship that Ciri had with everyone there. For her, it was surprising at first due to Quelaag's appearance, but they soon became friends with each other and everyone else.
Artreus: "Yo Ciri!"
She was supposed and turned around to look at him. She was currently playing Gwent with Quelaag, Quelaan and some of the other female Chaos Servants.
Wait...is that Kirk?!
Kirk's a girl?!
Ciri: "What is it?"
She was obviously irritated she was being locked up in Quelaag's Domain and couldn't go out to explore, while Artreus and a child could.
Artreus: "Good news, you'll get to come with me and kills ome monsters and have some fun!"
Ciri took her previous collection of rare cards she had acquired over many years and rushed to grab her sword.
Ciri: "Finally! Where to?"
Artreus grinned as he said.
Artreus: "The House of Traps!"
I had just teleported myself, Ciri, Solaire and Angel to the Bonfire above Andre, that had Sen's Fortress within line of sight.
When we materialised...
I got dropkick in the side of my head and my face fell into the fire of the Bonfire.
Fucking Andre!
Solaire did nothing but laugh as Ciri was about to strike her sword at Andre.
She's going to die if she fights him!
I teleported in front of both of them. I got impaled by her sword through the back, and I got puched on the head by Andre, which had separated my head from my body once again.
I had told Ciri of my Immortality so she didn't fear for my death. Andre and Ciri noticed I had gotten in their way for a reason and thus they had stopped their fight.
Once I revived thanks to Angel reattaching my head, I glared at Andre, I then used the full power of the Makluan Rings and gained physical strength that was greater than the Hulk, and punched Andre in the face downwards. Causing him to break through the floor and back into his workshop as his head landed on Anvil.
Artreus: "Maybe that will finally knock some sense into him to calm the fuck down."
The three of us made our way across the bridge. Ciri was still surprised by the scene from earlier of when I smashed Qndre through the floor. Something only monsters could do, not even Geralt could manage this feat.
Ciri: "How did you get so strong?"
Artreus: "Ha! I'm actually still very weak compared to what I will face. In this world, one can strengthen themselves in virtually every area by absorbing Souls into our bodies. It isn't Necromancy and is perfectly safe to do. In fact, when you kill something, you will be passively absorbing Souls from them which they have accumulated for your own. Just, you would then have to channel those Souls to increase and focus it into enhancing a specific aspect of your being. I will explain more about it later to you when you have gained enough Souls to use. But know that you can also become strong enough to tear down buildings with ease and slay Dragons that can destroy continents and armies as if they are your equals. You should do the same if you want to be strong enough to fight against the Wild Hunt and protect Geralt, Yennefer and everyone else...we're here."
Before Ciri could answer him, he had interrupted her.
Artreus: "Angel, how do you feel about doing an obstacle course?"
Angel: "Yes! Where is it? Will I get a reward for beating this game level?"
Angel was jumping everywhere up and down the stairs before the gate and the agro range of the two Snakemen.
Artreus: "Calm down. Yes you'll get a reward if you can run through the whole area and make it to the top. Look at this map and follow this direction. This will lead you to the top. Okay? Good. Now then, me and Ciri will be waiting at the top for you to arrive."
Angel saluted like she was in the military going to war. It was actually quite cute for this Immortal Loli.
He pushed Angel forward and had her fight the two snakemen.
She rushed forward and had trigger the trap as she wasn't paying attention and hadn't had any experience with traps yet.
The three bolts had fired into Angel's Stomach, Chest and Left Shoulder.
Ciri: "No!"
Ciri was going to rush forward when she was able to see in the darkness of the room and the sounds of the lighting speed bolts that had pierced Angel.
Artreus stopped her.
Artreus: "She's Immortal like I am. I guess I forgot to tell you, or did I, or did you forget? Whatever, let's be on out way, this will be a valuable lessen fir her to be wary of traps in the future."
Ciri seemed to open and close her mouth before she closed it. Clearly embarrassed at having worried for no reason. Solaire just watched all this happen from the side.
I just teleported myself and Ciri all the way at the top of Sen's Fortress. We were going to fight the Giant that would throw firebombs at us.
Meanwhile, Angel had summoned her two handed sword and killed the Snakemen by pressing one with electrical bolts which she fired at and slashed at the other with her nimble and small body.
She removed all the bolts that were in her body as the wounds healed and closed at a visable rate, along with her clothes. She had went to the walkway and thought she could out run the swinging blades.
She ended up getting impaled in her side and she swung with the swinging blade as her body was now attached to it.
She was able to remove herself of the blade as she perfectly timed it so she could land back on the walkway.
She quickly moved out of the way and ran along the walkway as her side wound healed and retracted the dripping blood into her body.
She encountered the Snakemen and fought it but got electrocuted by the one above who was throwing lighting at her.
She was a paralysed in place as the swinging blade hit her once again but this time splitting her head in two as her body fell down below.
She resurrected and had to deal with getting overwhelmed by the numerous enemies over and over again having died repeatedly.
Once she was finally able to get out if the hole she made her way up the ladder and back onto the walkway. She could have flown up but Artreus had told her not to as that would be cheating.
Angel has been having a great deal of fun. She was still unaware that this was all real and still thought it was a DMMORPG game she was in and that she could respawn infinitly.
She made her way on the walkway and dealt with the Snakemen that had thrown lighting at her.
She stepped into the room but had gotten blasted by another 3 bolts as she once again stepped on a trap button.
She made the mental note to watch out for the traps on the floor in the future. Just as Artreus had wanted her to learn from her mistakes. Otherwise he could have easily slipped Sen's Fortress and gone tothe Iron Golem.
She made her way and heard the sound of a loud crashing sound in the distance.
She ignored it and continued on until she reached outside with the Boulder.
A Snakeman had gotten flattened by the boulder for standing in its path, she had laughed at the idiocy of the NPC programing of the enemies being killed by their own traps.
She continued on and avoided the boulder luckily as she ran with all her might.
She made it into a room with a trap on the floor once again, this time she jumped over it and encountered a Snakemen.
She had an idea and lured the Snakemen to the trap as she said under it and triggered the trap, the bolts killed the Snakemen instantly as its head was lowered and got pierced by its bolt.
She went out again but as she tried to run up a long slope she saw a boulder suddenly appear.
She screamed in fear because of the shock of how fast it appeared out if nowhere from around the corner.
She tried running back but the bpilder hit her and she got flattened in the process and became a mass of red paste.
The boulders had for some reason stopped rolling down and fattening her body again and again.
She was finally able to stand up and regenerate her body as she ran up the slope before more Boulders came.
Angel ran the rest of the way and dealt with more enemies while ignoring the loot since Artreus had once told her that he will get it fir her so she can focus playing and having fun.
She made it to an extremely thin walkway but failed to notice a Snakemen who threw lighting at her.
She heard the sound as she was more cautious this time and ducked. She then blasted the Snakemen with dozens of electrical bolts from her hand, killing the Snakemen eventually.
She continues on the Walkway and made it to the end. When she reached the roof, she had seen absolute Chaos.
She ignored the devastation of 2 Giant corpses and one large gigantic armoured Knight and met with Artreus, Solaire, Ciri, a strange wizard looking guy who might be a Harry and another strange onion Armoured knight at a Golden glowing ring.
Angel: "Daddy I did it!"
Artreus: "Right you are Angel. I will gibe your reward later okay? Now then, shall we go to the next game level?"
Siegmeyar: "Game Level?"
Logan: "Perhaps a riddle of some sort?"
Ciri: "I don't know either. He won't tell me."
Artreus ignored them as he touched the glowing gold ring. With that a bunch of winged demons appeared and carried them away to Anor Londo. Angel was daydreaming as she flew, since she eventually heard someone shout at the top of their lungs.
???: "FIRE!!!"
